Canadian Soldiers of Odin Break With Finland

I've been away on vacation (thanks George Soros ;) and only returned to Canada yesterday, but I thought this would be an appropriate time to mention that ARC and Rabble.ca are currently collaborating on a project:
We are partnering with the Anti-Racist Canada: The ARC Collective for the next #stophateca roundup to focus on the Islamophobic organizing in Quebec. Please send contacts and any information you think would be useful in regard to digging into Islamophobia in Quebec to #stophateca or to toolkit@rabble.ca.
To be fair, Ms. Bhullar is being very kind in characterizing this is as a partnership, as Rabble is in my view doing most of the heavy lifting and has already put together a valuable resource that will grow over time. I would ask ARC's readers to closely follow Rabble and the ongoing project.

In the meantime, while I was away this happened:
Man charged after windows broken at main Ottawa mosque, Islam centreThe Ottawa CitizenMore from the Ottawa CitizenPublished on: April 14, 2017 | Last Updated: April 14, 2017 4:38 PM EDT
Police have charged one man after Ottawa’s central mosque on Northwestern Avenue and the Islam Care Centre were hit by vandalism this week.....Investigators were able to confirm that windows were broken at both the mosque and care centre and then arrested the man. Police allege that the man assaulted one of the arresting officers.
Shawn Le Guerrier, 27, has been charged with two counts of mischief and one count of assault police.

ARC received information about Le Guerrier which suggests that he subscribes to white nationalist beliefs and runs in a crowd that advocates violent confrontations with antifa:

Of further note, Le Guerrier is a member or supporter of the Ottawa chapter of the Soldiers of Odin:

I should further mention that this is actually the second time Le Guerrier has targeted the same mosque in as many weeks. Interesting that the "law abiding" SoO didn't give Le Guerrier the boot the first time.... unless they perhaps tacitly approved of the vandalism? And perhaps not coincidentally, the same mosque was also the target of an attempted arson.

This isn't of particular surprise to those of us who follow the SoO in Canada. Members of the SoO in both Ontario (at least those who have attended the anti-Muslim events in Toronto), Calgary, and British Columbia have become increasingly aggressive and confrontational and the level of anti-Muslim vitriol is increasingly hysterical and unhinged. ARC and others have reported on the large number of white supremacists who have joined or who are supporters of the Canadian organization, as well as their refusal to disavow the Finnish parent chapter in spite of the founder's overt ties to a violent neo-Nazi group and his (and others) numerous arrests for racially-based assaults.

Or, at least the once refused to disavow Finland. Seems things have changed:

Thus far we haven't heard anything from Joel Angott, but at this point there seems to have been a coup which has ousted SoO National President and founder Angott and has resulted in convicted grow-op operator with what appears to be a recent domestic violence charge hanging over his head Bill Daniels becoming the new Grand Poobah.

Paulie and Kyle McKee: Together Again

When Kyle McKee formed first the Aryan Guard, which morphed into Blood & Honour, Paul Fromm was a regular attendee at a number Calgary events organized by McKee and his fellow boneheads:

Paulie was a very vocal supporter of McKee for years, especially when the latter was facing his numerous criminal charges over the years, such as Paulie's commentary on the outcome of McKee's 2010 trial concerning his "alleged" involvement in the pipe bomb incident in 2009 (McKee was arrested in December at Bill Noble's residence after a month on the run):

But then something happened that caused a rift that lasted several years. We can speculate as to what the reasons were, but we might just let McKee and his supporters speak on that issue themselves:

Hmmmm, I wonder what the issue could have been?

It seemed that the rift wouldn't be healed any time soon, however the relationship between Paulie and McKee (and by extension Calgary B&H) has, as of now, at least achieved a state of détente:

What's Paulie's cut of the admissions fee going to be, Kyle?

That's right. For the first time in three (perhaps four) years, Paulie and McKee are back together again, though perhaps the real draw will be Ms. Chabloz.

Still, this happy reunion between Paulie and McKee is one I simply couldn't let pass without commemorating it in some way. And what better way than to utilize my newly learned video editing skills?

Be sure to turn on the closed captions for the pithy commentary.

I think I did quite well on this one.

Neo-Nazi Members/Supporters of the Soldiers of Odin

Back in March we ran an article linking Canadians United 4 Canada to the Soldiers of Odin, a movement that started in Finland but which has spread to a number of other countries including Canada.

Among those Finnish members are this guy:

Mr. Johansson's friend list might be of interest to readers on this side of the Atlantic:

Our original article on the SoO focused specifically on the Quebec wing and noted the Quebec group consisted of a number of overt neo-Nazis. Not surprisingly SoO members and supporters denied being members of an overt hate group, going so far as to print leaflets promoting their non-bigoted bona fides:

Later, a journalist writing for VICE picked up on the story (while also kindly linking to our article on the SoO) resulting in some concern from at least one provincial SoO wing:

Btw, if Blake Cunliffe is concerned about how SoO might be portrayed in the media, he might decide to desist advocating political assassinations:

While we are no longer privy to the Soldiers of Odin's BC wing as they appear to have removed our dummy Facebook profile, we did notice that no one really ultimately challenged the underlying claims made in the article. Had they done so though, they might have had to explain this fella:

PEGIDA Canada: "We're Not Racists" (UPDATED)

Earlier Sunday PEGIDA Quebec participated in a protest against Bill 59 and were met by anti-racist and antifascist groups. When one is challenging groups such as PEGIDA Canada the accusation that the membership and supporters of similar groups hold racist views is countered by the statement that, "Islam is not a race." In our view, there's a lot of parsing of the terminology going on here, however when we refer to the views held by the membership and supporters of groups like PEGIDA Canada who target Muslims we usually refer to them as bigots to avoid that argument. That term is challenged as well, as PEDIDA Canada suggest they are not against Muslims, but are in fact opposed to Islam. That claim is frequently made on the PEGIDA Canada Facebook group page, examples of which follows:

Not found on the PEGIDA Canada page, but on the page of a member.
More on Diane Hunter in the update at the bottom of the article.
Really?

A second statement found on the Facebook group's page also makes a similar claim lamenting the accusation of racism, but the underlying message seems clear enough to all who can read it:

We decided to take a closer look a PEGIDA Canada to test their claim that they are not in fact racists or bigots. Though we will inundate you, our dear readers, with screenshots from the PEGIDA Canada Facebook page that dehumanize Muslims (foreign, immigrant, refugee, and Canadian citizens) and which celebrate violence against Muslims (and anti-racists for that matter), we really could summarize the collective will of the members and supporters of PEGIDA Canada with this single post:

Yeah, they are racists and bigots, though we don't think this will really come as a significant revelation to many.

Immediate Aftermath of PEGIDA Canada Rally

We've spent much of the day watching the fallout from the PEGIDA Canada rally that took place yesterday. One thing that seems clear is that the folks who organized the rally (1) were disappointed by their own turnout (2) were taken completely by surprise regarding the reaction of people opposed to their views, and (3) were horribly naive concerning who would be drawn to their message.

ARC decided to do some informal interviews of members and participants on the PEGIDA Canada Facebook page to get their reaction to what went down and to the involvement of Ron Banerjee:

Fallout from the Free Press Article

First, it looks like the Southern Ontario Skinheads have a new member:

More on Brodie Walsh later. Trust us. He's a real catch for the SOS and sure to fit right in.

Back on May 9, "The London Free Press" published an article on an event hosted by an associate of the Southern Ontario Skinheads which, while billed as a birthday party, also appeared to be a gathering of the boneheads which is sort of like the gathering of the juggalos, but with less face paint and more racism:

The reaction to the article? Not exactly unexpected.

May 2014 Bits and Bites

This will be relatively short. First, we would like to provide our readers with what looks to be a bit of a preview:

We have a feeling that the lives of the Southern Ontario Skinheads are about to become a lot more public and, perhaps, a lot less comfortable. And that all might be happening very soon.

More on that later. In the meantime, we offer our readers the wit, wisdom, and silver tongue of Mr. Hynes who waxes poetically about the nature of the fairer gender:

Yeah, hard to believe these people have a difficult time maintaining relationships. Or forming relationships in the first place. But.... wait.... is that Bernie Miller we see? Why yes it is! Miller has just recently completed his house arrest stemming from an incident in Edmonton which also resulted in Kyle McKee ending up serving a year in jail. It's sort of funny that an ally of McKee, someone who is suspected of being involved in the assault on Hynes in the summer of 2012, would be communicating with Hynes. Even more funny when you consider who Miller is pictured with in Miller's profile photo:

That there sidling up to Miler is Eric Marshall, one of the two men (along with Jessie Lajoie) who assaulted Hynes after being lured into the trap with promises of a sexual encounter with Ms. Kissack.

"Odin TheCelt": Another Name Change and Change of Tactics

It appears that our would-be nemesis "Odin TheCelt", aka "Itsoktobe White", aka "Yordi Jewkiller" has decided upon a new name for himself:

We're going to get back to this very shortly, but we're going to get to it in a sort of round about manner.

One of our readers, who makes it clear that he is not on board with us ideologically, left the following comment under a recent article commenting on the SOS:

I have to say i dont agree with anything ARC says, and think most of your info is one sided or made up and often silly. But fuck you are witty with your comments making some of these guys look retarded. Always a fun read.

Well shucks, y'all gone and made us blush!

The purpose of the article in question was to point out that the membership of the London-based SOS were.... how could we put this in as classy a way as we can?

Well, since the backhanded compliment noted our wit, perhaps the Bard himself could help us to describe the membership of the SOS?

Thou villainous abominable misleader of youth

[Thine] brain is as dry as the remainder biscuit after a voyage.

Thine breath stinks with eating toasted cheese.

Thou art essentially a natural coward without instinct.

Would the fountain of your mind were clear again, that I might water an ass at it.

Or, if we were to put all this in slightly less pompous language, they're all about as useful as a sack of broken hammers.

Be that as it may, our article and the above comment that was left did serve to illicit a reaction from SOS founder Max Hynes, or at least someone posing as Max Hynes:

Aside from the unoriginal disparagement of our personal lives, we do note with interest the final line about intellectual property. It would appear that this is perhaps the SOS's novel way of trying to go after us now.

Back to "Odin TheCelt" now.

It looks like he didn't much care for our most recent posts about him which was in reference to his threats towards the writers of this blog. Now, instead of threatening to beat up women in dark alleys, he's going to take us down for using his pictures:

Six Degrees of Patrick Swayze: Bonehead Niece Marries Violent Bonehead

We were wondering why a single post of ours concerning the online squabble between Mike Gaio and the "president" of the Aryan Terror Brigade's Josh "Hatchet" Steever managed to amass close to 450 hits in a single day. The mystery (such as it was) was solved when we figured out that people were coming to our page based on their searching of images such as this.

Why were people looking up pictures of Josh Steever? Might have something to do with this:

Bernie Miller Tries to Shut Down ARC Blog

First, thanks to John Marleau. Without you leaving the comment, we wouldn't have been able to read Bernie's status update.

Looks like Bernie Miller (who goes by the pseudonym "14aryan88" online) is a bit troubled by being outed:

Let's take down the ARC blog!

Here's the link to report them [provides link], pick the report as "Posting personal information" and fill out the short form and send it in to Google! I am sending about 10 reports a day and I have a few others sending around the same!

Miller then goes on to provide a website to complain to Blogger about us.

Marleau later comments, "I just filled it out" which allowed us to read the update.

Gee. We thought you guys believed in freedom of speech.

Poor Bernie here doesn't realize that he's engaged in an exercise in futility. If he were to read the requirements for a complaint, he might find the following:

Wow. Nice Job Todd Babiak. More on Edmonton Bonehead Assault Case.

We were sent a link on Facebook that posted a screenshot of a recent "Edmonton Journal" article regarding the alleged hate crime that occurred in Edmonton last month:

After a brief search, we found the article in question online. Suffice it to say Mr. Babiak does a fantastic job exposing the bankrupt views of these people:

Hate-crime incidents unlikely to build neo-Nazi popularity
Racist philosophy can't do any better than remain on fringe

By Todd Babiak, Edmonton Journal March 12, 2011

EDMONTON - This week, the Edmonton police hate crimes unit charged four men with assault and other offences.

The men were distributing flyers for a white nationalist organization called Blood and Honour, which will hold a rally in Calgary later this month.

One of the accused, Keith Virgil Decu, claims to be a druid on a metaphysical chat group and lists German neo-pagan spirituality and cooking as interests and activities on his Facebook page. Another of the accused, James Brooks, is an artist. On his Facebook page he claims the charges stem from a "horrible night" of "drunken stupidity."

Bonehead Admits Assault; Claim Self-defence

Well it looks like "14aryan88"has admitted that the incident involving four Edmonton boneheads assaulting bystanders unprovoked did in fact occur, despite claims by Brooks to the contrary. Except that he's saying that none of them have anything to do with Blood & Honour. And that they were attacked first and are the real victims:

Sorry if this rings just a little bit hollow to us. For example, where did said shovel come from? When we hit the town bar hopping, as a general rule we don't take garden tools with us.

It's at this point that we figure we should introduce our readers to "14aryan88" formerly of the White Nationalist Legion, but which was absorbed by Calgary's Blood & Honour movement:

Accused Named In Suspected Edmonton Hate Crime: James Brooks One of the Accused

Not to long ago, we learned that the White Nationalist Legion, which seemed little more than an Internet group, had folded itself into the larger Blood & Honour movement as represented by the former Aryan Guard in Calgary. We knew a few of the names of the people involved, including Bernie Miller, Kosak, and James Brooks. And now, due to their gross stupidity, we suspect we now know a few more names now:

Crimes motivated by hate, police say
The hate crimes unit of Edmonton Police has laid numerous charges against four men who allegedly assaulted two men and a woman and made hateful comments against lesbian or gay and non-white people on Whyte Avenue last month.

Get Over Yourself "Travis"

Oh, silly, silly boy.

Your name is Bernie Miller.

Happy?

Hell, we've known who you are, as well as Eric, Bill, Jonathan, Trevor and others, for months.

Did it occur to you that maybe the reason why we haven't written much about you is because there's nothing much to say about you? Sorry, but your significance is pretty much nil at this point.

We do like the Kevin Goudreau avatar though. That sort of made us laugh a little.

You Think We're Getting Under Their Skin? Boneheads Talk About the ARC Collective

Well, "talk" might not be an apt term. Cry, whine, bitch, drool, utter monosyllabic grunts, draw stick figures with big "x" marks over them.... these might all be more accurate.

First, we received a note from one of our fans who goes by the name "Scarborough":
anti racist canada is a joke all talk to action get all the imformation u need to do somthing and just dont i dont get the whole point of this you are all fucking morons last time u guys came to scarborough posting pics you fled like babys pull up your socks boys get a new game plan cuae youo are acomplishing absolutly nothing but invading privacy or people fucking communist pigs

It's Mike Gaio, isn't it? Come on! It's got to be Gaio!

Shall we dissect? Yes, we believe we shall:
