Dr. S. Jana, Principal of
Sonagachi Research and Training Institute (SRTI),
Kolkata, India and Chief Advisor of Durbar Mahila
Samanwaya Committee (DMSC), Kolkata, India has got
invitation to visit six USA based universities to
deliver talk mainly on Social approaches to health
development, Enhancing Gender equity in HIV
program, Community mobilization based on Sonagachi
project experience and to share results of the
recently completed Rapid Policy Assessment and
Response (RPAR) in Sonagachi, Kolkata, India. His
three weeks visit start from 6th November 09
continues up to 24th November 09 scheduled to
visit Pennsylvania University, University of
Connecticut Health Center, Temple University,
Fenway community health, UCLA and Texas
University.
