After leaving their home in Bosnia because of the Yugoslavian war in the beginning of the 90's, Abdulah Kadenic and his wife Sehaveta ended up in Norway. They lived there for 12 years, until May 2007 where Sehavata had a series of strokes. She lost the ability to speak and the ability to move most of her body so she had to be put in a nursing home. Due to not understanding the language very well and because they never really felt at home in Norway they decided to move back to Bosnia.
Abdulah now lives in Sarajevo while Sehaveta stays at a nursing home 90 kilometers from there in the city of Travnik. Every week he visits her.

Day
A day is a unit of time. In common usage, it is an interval equal to 24 hours. It also can mean the consecutive period of time during which the Sun is above the horizon, also known as daytime. The period of time during which the Earth completes one rotation with respect to the Sun is called a solar day.

I edited with Final Cut Pro 7 and graded with Magic Bullet Looks. Almost all the shots of people are either my wife Jessica or my brother Jimmy. BONUS: if you look very closely at 2:25 you can see me wipe out in the distance on a long board. It hurt. -

Episode : The City
Any Day Now
Mary Elizabeth, an outgoing white girl, and Rene, a shy black girl, become close friends as they grow up in 1960's Alabama. Their friendship comes to an end, however, when Mary Elizabeth (ME) gets pregnant and Rene doesn't support her decision to keep the child and marry her boyfriend. Thirty years later, ME is still living in Alabama with her husband as they struggle to make ends meet. Rene, meanwhile is a successful attorney working in Washington. After the death of her father, Rene decides to move back to her old hometown, where she meets ME again. As the pair resume their old friendship, they reminisce on old times and the events that occurred after splitting up.

Between Days
Documentary / 7 min. / 2011 After leaving their home in Bosnia because of the Yugoslavian war in the beginning of the 90's, Abdulah Kadenic and his wife Sehaveta ended up in Norway. They lived there for 12 years, until May 2007 where Sehavata had a series of strokes. She lost the ability to speak and the ability to move most of her body so she had to be put in a nursing home. Due to not understanding the language very well and because they never really felt at home in Norway they decided to move back to Bosnia. Abdulah now lives in Sarajevo while Sehaveta stays at a nursing home 90 kilometers from there in the city of Travnik. Every week he visits her. After leaving their home in Bosnia because of the Yugoslavian war in the beginning of the 90's, Abdulah Kadenic and his wife Sehaveta ended up in Norway. They lived there for 12 years, until May 2007 where Sehavata had a series of strokes. She lost the ability to speak and the ability to move most of her body so she had to be put in a nursing home. Due to not understanding the language very well and because they never really felt at home in Norway they decided to move back to Bosnia.
Abdulah now lives in Sarajevo while Sehaveta stays at a nursing home 90 kilometers from there in the city of Travnik. Every week he visits her.

I edited with Final Cut Pro 7 and graded with Magic Bullet Looks.
Almost all the shots of people are either my wife Jessica or my brother Jimmy.
BONUS: if you look very closely at 2:25 you can see me wipe out in the distance on a long board. It hurt.

They lived there for 12 years, until May 2007 where Sehavata had a series of strokes. She lost the ability to speak and the ability to move most of her body so she had to be put in a nursing home. Due to not understanding the language very well and because they never really felt at home in Norway they decided to move back to Bosnia.
Abdulah now lives in Sarajevo while Sehaveta stays at a nursing home 90 kilometers from there in the city of Travnik. Every week he visits her.

In April of 1968, seven days changed fair housing forever. We had the honor of working with an amazing team at Nationwide to tell an important story for the National Fair Housing Alliance about Martin Luther King Jr. and one of the most important civil rights struggles in our nation's history.
