Rockshow is a 1980 concert film by Paul McCartney and Wings, filmed during the band's 1976 North American tour. The film features 30 songs from four concerts of the tour: New York, on 25 May (four songs); Seattle, Washington, 10 June (five songs); and Los Angeles, California, 22 June (fifteen songs) and 23 June (six songs). Both the cover of the home video release and McCartney himself in his intro to McCartney Years DVD acknowledge only the Seattle concert, however. These concerts were part of the 1975–76 Wings Over the World tour, which also produced the triple live album Wings over America (1976) and the Wings Over the World television documentary (1979).
The music for what was to become Rockshow and part of Wings Over the World was produced by Chris Thomas and engineered by Phil McDonald during 1979. However, the processing of the Rockshow overdubs was obviously completed by the airdate of Wings Over the World, as these same performances were featured in both productions. Not all of the songs made it to the film in their entirety ("Medicine Jar" and "Letting Go" have been edited), and the song introductions did not always match the performance which followed. For example, several of the introductions came from the Seattle performance while the actual song was taken from a Los Angeles show: "Magneto & Titanium Man", "Spirits of Ancient Egypt", "Lady Madonna", "Let 'Em In", and "Soily". The introduction of the horn section was a composite as well with portions coming from Seattle and the final Los Angeles show.

From this tour came both the legendary "Wings over America" triple live album and the concert film "Rockshow". Although filmed on this tour at the enormous Kingdome in Seattle, "Rockshow", originally a cut down version of the concert, was not premiered until November 1980 in New York and April 1981 in London. It was released on Betamax and later on laserdisc. Now for the first time the complete full length concert is being made available fully restored from the origi...

Lady GaGa - Rock Show I don't own any of this music. Hope you enjoy it :) Lyrics; Hold her hand through the black light Baby it's a forest land of trick slides Honey just take your time Close her eyes "I'm scared," she whispered As she wants to hide Into a back room where She paints on a smile She hears a sound She hears a sound It could have been love It could have been anybody Anybody, uh-oh She waited for love But there wasn't anybody Around so she left Town with the rock show Keep it cool at the freakshow Baby its a happy place If you lose it, honey Just take your time Close his eyes "Touch me," he whispered As he walks to the light From the window There's visions of A house in the night He hears a sound He hears a s...

Teaser do especial Second Hand Rancid / Nofx / Sublime. Dia 24 de março de 2011, quinta, no Live Sport Pub, em Porto Alegre - RS. O show. Encenado em cima da introdução da música Separation of church and skate, do NOFX, primeira do albúm The war on terrorism, de 2003. Papai Fava convida seus filhos de segunda mão para irem a um show de punk rock. When did punk rock became so safe? Este punk não é o mesmo da década de 70, de Sex Pistols e Ramones, mas nem por isto dei...

Would you like another pill
For printing up the dollar bills
In the end it's all the same
Keep on looking at the weather vane
Time controlling
Not worth knowing
Where the reasons' ending up it's easy to see
That no one cares, and nothing's free
You don't owe me
You can't sell that
Still controlling in the format
Get in a rock show
There's another fine reason
Get in a rock show
Yeah get in a rock show
When the joker plays another joke
The smoker takes another toke
Stars keep fallin from the sky
People watch and don't ask why
Glasses broken
Love unspoken
When the other preacher comes and rolls into town
You're looking up, you're looking down
You don't own me
You can't sell that
Still controlling in the format
Get in a rock show
There's another fine reason
Get in a rock show
There's another find rejected
You don't own me
You can sell that
Still controlling in the format
Get in the rock show
There's another fine reject
Get in a rock show
There's another fine reason
It's still all the same show
For still the same reason
Get in a rock show
