In Babel, a tragic incident involving an American couple in Morocco sparks a chain of events for four families in different countries throughout the world. In the struggle to overcome isolation, fear, and displacement, each character discovers that it is family that ultimately provides solace. In the remote sands of the Moroccan desert, a rifle shot rings out -- detonating a chain of events that will link an American tourist couple's frantic struggle to survive, two Moroccan boys involved in an accidental crime, a nanny illegally crossing into Mexico with two American children and a Japanese teen rebel whose father is sought by the police in Tokyo. Then, on the opposite side of the world the married couple's Mexican nanny takes the couple's 2 children with her to her son's wedding in Mexico, only to come into trouble on the return trip. Babel (film)
Babel is a 2006 drama film directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and written by Guillermo Arriaga, starring an ensemble cast. The multi-narrative drama completes González Iñárritu's Death Trilogy, following Amores perros and 21 Grams. It is an international co-production among companies based in the US, Mexico, and France. The film portrays multiple stories taking place in Morocco, Japan, Mexico and the US.
Babel was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival, where González Iñárritu won the Best Director Award. It was later screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film opened in selected cities in the United States on 27 October 2006, and went into wide release on 10 November 2006. Babel won the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Drama, and received seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and two for Best Supporting Actress, winning for Best Original Score.

The story of the tower of Babel happened in a time when humankind had just one language and just one place to live freely without boundaries; a united humanity of the generations. Vidéo mapping sur une structure en carton plume de 1m80. Installation sur le thème du mythe de la tour de Babel. Pour illustrer ce thème, nous avons opté pour un travail graphique sur la ligne permettant à la fois une construction et une déconstruction en perturbant le volume, créant ainsi un certain trouble, une confusion. Nous avons aussi cherché à utiliser des formes franches et rigoureuses dans un premier temps, avant de les diviser en particules diffuses et multiples. H Νατάσσα Μποφίλιου, ο Θέμης Καραμουρατίδης και ο Γεράσιμος Ευαγγελάτος παρουσιάζουν τον πολυαναμενόμενο νέο τους δίσκο με τίτλο «Βαβέλ». H πιο δυναμική τριάδα του σύγχρονου ελληνικού τραγουδιού, επιστρέφει με τη νέα της δισκογραφική πρόταση, που πριν καν ηχογραφηθεί παρουσιάστηκε ζωντανά σε 10 επιτυχημένες εμφανίσεις στη σκηνή του Βοτανικού την άνοιξη του 2016 και έκλεψε τις εντυπώσεις κοινού και κριτικών.
Τέσσερα χρόνια μετά το πολυαγαπημένο «Οι Μέρες του Φωτός», οι τρεις καλλιτέχνες, μετρώντας ήδη πάνω από μια δημιουργική δεκαετία, παρουσιάζουν τον πιο ώριμο και ολοκληρωμένο δίσκο της κοινής πορείας τους: δώδεκα νέα τραγούδια γεμάτα τόλμη, έμπνευση και ευαισθησία. Δώδεκα σύγχρονες ιστορίες με την υπογραφή του Γεράσιμου, όπως τις μελοποίησε κι ενορχήστρωσε ο Θέμης και τις καταθέτει με τη μοναδική της ερμηνεία η Νατάσσα. Σε αυτό το άλμπουμ για πρώτη φορά ξεχωρίζει ο χαρακτηριστικός ήχος των πνευστών στις ενορχηστρώσεις. Οι ηχογραφήσεις πραγματοποιήθηκαν live στo studio Sierra, θυμίζοντας κάτι από τις μεγάλες, κλασικές ηχογραφήσεις του παρελθόντος, με ηχολήπτη τον Γιάννη Παξεβάνη, ο οποίος είναι υπεύθυνος και για το mastering του δίσκου.
H «Βαβέλ», πότε εξωστρεφής και πότε εξομολογητική, μέσα σε ήχους αισθαντικών μελωδιών και ζωηρών ρυθμών που εναλλάσσουν λαϊκά, έντεχνα, δυτικά και παραδοσιακά στοιχεία, αφηγείται με αφοπλιστική ειλικρίνεια τις ιστορίες των ανθρώπων που ζουν μέσα στη σύγχρονη πόλη, δηλαδή του καθένα από εμάς.
Το άλμπουμ «Βαβέλ» θα κυκλοφορήσει σε CD από τη Feelgood Records.
Στο εξώφυλλο του άλμπουμ ο τίτλος αναγράφεται και με τον κώδικα Braille (κωδικός ανάγνωσης και γραφής τυφλών).

Interactive Installation by Shirin Abedinirad and Gugo Torelli.
The story of the tower of Babel happened in a time when humankind had just one language and just one place to live freely without boundaries; a united humanity of the generations. The Lord concerned that humankind could have too much power and freedom, punished them for their pride by multiplying their languages so that they could not be able to understand one another.
Babel Tower is an interactive installation that recontextualizes the spiritual architecture of the Babel Tower with modern materials, creating a union between ancient history and our present world; it is combing the past, present and offering a union for future.
The top view of installation by reflecting the sky is connecting it to the earth, symbolizing the aim of Babel tower to reach for the heaven; The structural use of mirrors, serve as a reflective vessel for light, an integral feature of paradise.
When installed in a city location it reacts with different animation patterns to the audience interaction, when placed in a natural environment its movement are changing depending on the weather conditions. This interactive installation is giving a transformative image of the world by decomposing it into parts and recomposing it into a new union.
In this installation human is having a dialogue with city and nature to become one. This installation simply within a movement of human is changing the image of the nature and is gathering the view of the entire world in one piece.

Pour illustrer ce thème, nous avons opté pour un travail graphique sur la ligne permettant à la fois une construction et une déconstruction en perturbant le volume, créant ainsi un certain trouble, une confusion. Nous avons aussi cherché à utiliser des formes franches et rigoureuses dans un premier temps, avant de les diviser en particules diffuses et multiples.

Not all vegetarians want to eat fake meat. I’ve always side-eyed phallic sex toys, and aesthetics is definitely one of the reasons why. Personally, I don’t want a toy that enters the Uncanny Dick Valley. (Veins! Bulges! Out-of-scale frenulums!) That being said, I also don’t want something that looks like it belongs on a Pikmin.
