Seriously?

This is not a Sim racing game, as stated. this game doesn't even remotely resemble the sport of Nascar. graphics and driving physics are laughable. I can make more authentic stock car sounds with a stack of paper plates. This game had no business being released in its current horrible condition. i wouldn't play this title again if it was a free cell phone app. what a waste of my money. i feel like a fool

This is the 2nd worst car game on Xbox One!

This game sucks badly. First of all, the graphics make this game look like a 2009 Xbox 360 live arcade game, secondly, I could make more authentic engine sounds by blowing a trumpet into a microphone, third, racing at the Glen or Sonoma is like racing on ice, and lastly, the physics are as bad as Big Rigs Over The Road Racing! AND THIS IS A TRIPLE A GAME! Literally the only good thing about this game is the career mode. It reminds me of the EA NASCAR career modes, honestly. You start off with a crap car, but as the races go, you get more money and improve your team and get more sponsers, But, overall, this game is NOT worth 60 dollars. SIXTY DOLLARS! Oh, I forgot to mention, this game has a challenge mode, which is a rebrand of the lightning challenges from the Thunder games and CFTC 2005. Avoid this game at all costs, it'll save your sanity. Oh, and there's multiplayer. It's not very bad. Also, why doesn't this game have a track map? Thanks for reading this review if you did.

Good Fun, A Few Issues Though

This game does many things right, like when you hit the apron, you'll either spin or shoot up the track. I actually enjoy the multiplayer in this game. However, the game is lacking in the singleplayer. I play on diff. 100 AI, and I always destroy the field on restarts. I should not be lapping P2 on lap 87 in Dover's outside line. The overall physics are great, except for when I make contact with other cars, then the car gets squirrely beyond all reason. The road courses are challenging, and it feels rewarding to nail a lap around them. Plate tracks need work. Single file racing is safe but not exciting, and I keep getting stuck in the back with quick quali. On a final note, the graphics and audio aren't superb (I wish the cars sounded meatier), but it isn't a dealbreaker if you aren't picky about A/V quality. In my opinion, this game is worth what I payed for it, especially with the amount of addon content. Overall, I was quite impressed with DMR's first NASCAR game.

NASCAR HEAT 2016 reviwe

This game is decent, for MONSTER GAMES and DMR. Next year make these improvements; Work your way up through TRUCKS and XFINITY Then CUP. NEXT add more options online (ghost cars) pleaseee??????? A.I is good and could use some work. Oh and D.L.C. please do not make us pay $20 plus dollars on paint schemes. I would also recomend a paintbooth like FORZA 6 and the options to download desingns for the cars from the community. This game was decent for the 1st in the series.

This game is god awful. 1995 graphics and sounds, id rather watch hillary strip naked than play this one more second.

PLAY THE OLDER GAMES

Going from the older NASCAR games to this is disappointing. it is missing many great features from old games, the physics are terrible, and it isn't even split-screen which is a simple and way overlooked feature.

Not sure why there is so many bad reviews.

This is the best NASCAR game in a long time. The pack racing isnt there at Daytona like I expected but I can get over it. I am in love with the career mode and having to battle the AI for every spot to try and build the team. Speaking of AI having put more than a few hours on the track I would say it is the best NASCAR game AI. I can only hope with such a good foudation we get something like Dirt to Daytona someday so I can retire the ps2 for good.

I Love It But It Was Over Hyped!!!

I like all of the challenges and paint schemes but I don't like how when there is a crash the yellow rarely comes out. Also racing at Daytona isn't as fun as it was on NASCAR '15. Oh, and yeah, it was also very over hyped. Over all it is a fun game to play, the game is simply what it was shown to be in the commercial, DMR's first better NASCAR game in a while and hopefully theres more to come in the future. The people who rate this game a 1 or a 2 are the people who over hyped this game to be the best next thing, or the people who listened to the people who over hyped this game. In my opinion this game was well worth my money.

about as fun as the doctor saying you have cancer

first let me say i love the nascar heat games on xbox now for the good parts the cars look good not great the game has some of my favorite tracks and drivers in it and there is lots of free dlc now for the bad stuff there is no racing legends to race as and no paint themes to use to race legends cars i love ernhardt sr. but there is no paint job for any car so you can atleast race a car that looks like his and the cars control like a bathtub on wheels that don't turn well then there is rubberbanding so if say a car thats not yours crashes they will get a boost in speed and fly past you and back into the spot they were before they crashed and the draw in is really bad the tracks are a blury mess till you get into a certin feet and then it renders it it made me feel like i was racing in a bubble everything in the bubble looked like a good xbox 360 game everything outside the bubble looked like a launch title on a PS2 or Xbox

Game needs major improvements

Simulatation should actually feel like real life for hardcore racers. Need online setups and race results need to show laps led. No countdown clock for private lobbies its hard to get 20 people in when league racing. In game chat for private lobbies the party chat can disconnect at times and its hard to join the party when you are racing. Finally just need to fix damage model and the twitching the cars do when changing directions its hard to plate race with friends because of that. Im not being hard about the game but this is what hundreds of people have complained about. It probably wouldve been better to get actual good gamers who play racing games instead of NASCAR drivers who dont play video games and know what exactly true hardcore racing fans want. Please feel free to think about this review thanks
