Protect My Choices for Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer
The Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer versions of Protect My Choices are extensions that help preserve the opt-out preferences you set on the DAA's Consumer Choice Page. They are designed to help prevent the accidental deletion from your browser of cookies that store these choices.

Some Things You Should Know
Protect My Choices applies to the opt-outs available through the Consumer Choice page, and which apply to interest-based advertising and other applicable uses of Web viewing data by the DAA’s participating companies. Once you install this extension, you will still receive online advertising from participating companies, and the Web sites you visit may still collect information for other purposes.
As more companies join the industry self-regulatory program, their opt-outs will be added to these Protect My Choices extensions. The extensions function differently in each browser and in some cases you may be required to update the extension. Please review the information for your browser. You can confirm that your opt-outs have been set for each browser at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/, and you can always check the status of your extensions by clicking Extensions, Add-ons or Manage Add-ons under Tools in the Window menu.
These extensions and your opt-out choices apply only in their respective browsers, so you should separately set your preferences for other browsers or computers you may use.
Finally, the use of these browser extensions is governed by the Terms of Service and their individual licenses.
Protect My Choices for Chrome
The Protect My Choices extension for Chrome is available for download from the Chrome Web Store. From time to time you will be asked to authorize updates to this extension in order to add new opt-outs. Protect My Choices for Internet Explorer v. 1.15
The Protect My Choices extension is compatible with Internet Explorer version 7 (and up) on computers running Windows XP up to Windows 8.
