A World Wide Story:  In 1997, the SBS web presence was a modest affair, consisting of text and pictures only, optimised for Netscape 2.01 and above and Internet Explorer 3.02 and above.  The news service published what was at that time an ambitious schedule of five articles per day. Today SBS Online publishes over 500,000 sport and news articles per year, and over 100,000 videos annually. The network attracts 900,000 users per month who generate 14 million page impressions and 2 million video streams.
