'You're the coolest': Taylor Swift sends a heartfelt note and flowers to Lea Michele after she gushed over the singer

Lea Michele kicked off her Super Bowl celebrations the night before at Taylor Swift's 'only show in 2017' at the DirectTV Super Saturday Night Concert.

And days earlier the 30-year-old Scream Queens star gushed over what 'an amazing songwriter' the Shake It Off singer is to People magazine.

Taylor, 27, got word of Lea's compliments and sent her a sweet note thanking the beauty for her kind words.

'Lea, You read the Red Album Booklet??!! You’re the sweetest, the nicest, the coolest. Thank you so much for the kind words. Love, Taylor,' the note read.

The Glee alum posted a snapshot of the card and beautiful bouquet of white flowers to her Instagram stories.

'Thank you @taylorswift,' Lea captioned the image with several small flower emojis.

Speaking of Taylor's new hit, I Don't Wanna Live Forver, she continued: 'Right now, her new song with Zayn [Malik]… if I play it one more time, I might combust. I love her.'

'I was just talking to Emma Roberts about her the other day and we were reading the inside of her booklet for Red,' Lea added.

Meanwhile Taylor shocked fans when she revealed the pre-Super Bowl party in Houston, Texas was perhaps her only show in the year ahead. 

'As far as I know I'm only doing one show in 2017, and as far as I know, this is that show,' she confessed. 'You are attending 100 percent of my tour dates.'
