Putting his money where his mouth is! Gordon Ramsay hilariously fills up swear jar for charity with expletive packed interview on Jimmy Fallon

He's known for his foul-mouthed tirades on Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen.

And US chat show host Jimmy Fallon appeared to put his money where Gordon Ramsay's expletive mouth is as he hilariously placed a swear jar on his desk during their interview on the much-loved late night programme.

On The Tonight Show to promote Masterchef Junior, the 50-year-old chef unsurprisingly filled up the glass jar with dollar bills, all in the name of a great cause of Jimmy's choosing.

Kicking off the interview by placing a stack of dollar bills beside Gordon, Jimmy goaded the blunt TV chef about his potty mouth, having been put on the 'naughty step' for his last swear-filled appearance on the show.

Jimmy said: 'I have a swear jar and we have all the money right here.

'Every time you say something wrong that I think could be this [swear jar] donated and it goes to a charity of my choice or you could not do it and I could still donate money to charity.'

Up for the challenge, the Scotsman at first tried to protest his innocence as he argued he tries 'hard' not to let his vulgar vocabulary slip out.

Joking as he began the interview, he hilariously quipped: 'I'm lost for f****** words.'

As the first bill went into the jar, he vowed: 'We won’t need anymore' yet he continued his loose lips as the interview ended up being littered with swear words.

Later on the show, Gordon put his tastebuds to the test as he joined Jimmy and The Roots' Questlove for a game of Secret Ingredient.

When it was his turn to guess the first dish, he simply answered: 'Who the f*** knows?'

Gordon's appearance comes after he enjoyed a winter break to the Maladives with his family and the Beckhams.
