The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went head to head in a relay race this afternoon alongside Prince Harry as they took part in a training day ahead of the London Marathon.
Competitive Kate tied her hair back as she pelted full throttle along side her husband at the race which took part at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP) in London on Sunday.
Despite her efforts the Duchess, 35, lost out to her brother in-law who came in first thanks to the encouragement of well-wishers from the sidelines.

It seems that the mother-of-two might have missed the memo this afternoon as she arriving in a pair of jeans which might have been to blame for her loss.
The Duchess may have ditched her usual high glamour in favour of a bright orange puffa jacket but it seems she wasn't prepared to stoop to a pair of joggers for the training day.
Kate paired her £280 quilted ski jacket by Perfect Moment with a pair of black skinny jeans which will surely prove a challenge to run in.

Cozy up in a quilted jacket like the Duchess
This weekend was an active one for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. They all took part in a relay on the training day for Heads Together charity, the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon Charity of the Year.
Despite the physical activity, Kate chose to wear jeans to the event, but she kept things practical on the footwear front, donning a pair of New Balance trainers. Her outerwear looked super cozy for the current chill too, choosing to wear a ski jacket over her outfit.
The jacket is by Perfect Moment, a brand conceived by Thierry Donard, an extreme sport filmmaker and professional skier who wanted to not only make practical pieces for extreme weather, but stylish ones too.
We love the bright hue of Kate's coat that zips at the front and is made with ethically sources titanium goose-down feathers.
