Hello Everyone, I’m Jodie, Brendan's fiancée.
You may, or may not be aware, Brendan's brother Michael Eather, was holidaying with friends, travelling the world and living their dreams. Unfortunately, Michael recently went missing in a white water rafting accident on the Rio Cahabon while travelling in Guatemala. Despite extensive efforts by the Guatemala Government, locals, volunteers and especially Michael’s travelling companions, Michael still remains missing and has been missing since the 23rd January 2017. The volunteers, who are searching for Michael, are working in particularly harsh terrain and conditions.
They have very limited resources and to maximise their search efforts they require specialist equipment not available in Guatemala.
Many people have been asking Michael's parents, Brett and Tracy, what they can do to help, as they feel helpless being so far away here in Australia. I’ve decided to create this ’Search for Michael’ “Go Fund Me” page to help raise funds to assist with acquiring this equipment and any other resources they may need.

These funds will be used for:
- Purchase/ hire equipment not available in Guatemala required to extend the search area into more difficult terrain.
- Helping the search and rescue team with fuel for vehicles.
- Food to feed the searchers and volunteers, who are helping search for Michael.

The persons  in charge of the bank account linked to the gofund me page is Michael's mother Tracy eather and Brendan Perrett his brother. It is an account set up only for all donations on the gofund me page.

As for the money being distributed to all the people and services that Needs it, it will be getting transfer from this account or money transfered through western union money transfer.
