Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott (9 July 1946 – 19 February 1980) was a Scottish-born Australian rock musician, best known for being the lead singer and lyricist of Australian hard rock band AC/DC from 1974 until his death in 1980. He was born in Forfar and lived in Kirriemuir, Scotland, for 5 years before moving to Melbourne, Australia, with his family in 1952 at the age of six. The family lived in the suburb of Sunshine for four years before moving to Fremantle, Western Australia.
Scott formed his first band, The Spektors, in 1964 and became the band's drummer and occasional lead vocalist. He performed in several other bands including The Valentines and Fraternity before replacing Dave Evans as the lead singer of AC/DC in 1974.
In the July 2004 issue of Classic Rock, Scott was rated as number one in a list of the "100 Greatest Frontmen Of All Time" ahead of Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant. Hit Parader ranked Scott as fifth on their 2006 list of the 100 Greatest Heavy Metal Vocalists of all time.

"Cold Hearted" is a 1989 song by American singer Paula Abdul from the album Forever Your Girl, written and co-produced by Elliot Wolff. It hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the album's third song to top the US chart.
In the video for "Cold Hearted", Abdul dances for music executives with a group of semi-nude dancers- one of whom was named Dominic Lucero, with Abdul wearing a fishnet dress which exposes her belly button. The scenery includes scaffolding upon which Abdul and her dancers hang and grind. The video was directed by David Fincher and spent more than three weeks on top of MTV's video rotation list. The inspiration for the video came from Bob Fosse's choreography of the "Take off With Us" scene in the movie "All That Jazz"
"Cold Hearted" topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for one week in September 1989, ending Richard Marx's three week run at the summit with "Right Here Waiting". "Cold Hearted" ranked sixth in the "Top 100 hits of 1989". It spent a total of eight weeks within the Billboard Top 10.
Powerage is an album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was the band's fourth internationally released studio album and the fifth to be released in Australia. All songs were written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young and Bon Scott. Powerage was re-released in 2003 as part of the AC/DC Remasters series.
After a 12-date European tour opening for Black Sabbath in April, bassist Mark Evans was fired from AC/DC on May 3, 1977. In the AC/DC memoir AC/DC: Maximum Rock & Roll, former manager Michael Browning states, "I got a call one day from Malcolm and Angus. We were in London, I went to their apartment and they told me they wanted to get rid of Mark. Him and Angus didn't see eye to eye. They used to have a sort of tit-for-tat thing going, but nothing that I would have ever thought was going to be gig-threatening." According to Browning, the Young brothers were seriously considering Colin Pattenden of Manfred Mann fame until Browning, who feared Pattenden was too old and did not fit their image, pushed Englishman Cliff Williams, who had played with Home and Bandit. Williams, who could also sing background vocals, passed the audition and would go on to record on Powerage, although Evans insists that the album also has bass by him, as the Powerage songs started being done during the recording of his last album Let There Be Rock, and producer George Young while Williams was having trouble getting his work visa. In a 2011 interview with Joe Bosso that appears on MusicRadar, Evans reflected on his ousting from the group:

"Let There Be Rock" is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is also the title track of their Australian album Let There Be Rock, released in March 1977, and was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Bon Scott. It similarly featured on the international version of Let There Be Rock, released in October 1977.Let There Be Rock" is a play on the third verse of the Book of Genesis, in which God created heaven and earth. God's demand of "Let there be light" is echoed in the song, and is extrapolated to calls of "Let there be sound... drums... guitar... Let there be rock". In the studio recording, Scott called for sound before light, whereas this is switched during live performances of the song. The song is influenced by Chuck Berry's "Roll Over Beethoven", specifically the lyric "go...

AC/DC - Let There Be Rock The movie features AC/DC live at the Pavillion De Paris on December 9, 1979, during the tour that would be singer Bon Scott's last. After almost ten minutes of glimpses at the backstage life, the real movie starts as the band is introduced playing live on stage. Although the band is still in their '70s minimalist era with few stage effects and pyrotechnics, the live performance is considered one of the best and most energetic of their career. The live concert is intercut with quasi-fictional interviews with the members of the band. The interviews took place in Reims, France, two days before the concert. Cast Phil Rudd ... Himself (drummer) (as AC/DC) Ronald Belford Scott ... Himself (lead singer) (as Bon Scott) Cliff Williams ... Himself (bassist) (as AC/...

How long, since I’ve written a letter!
I got a rough draft in my pocket.
Did ya know, the words never come out right,
When you think too much, or you’re up all night.
Oh why? Oh why? Oh why?
Can’t find the right words to say.
So many other writers have been trapped this way.
I don’t know how he could write, R&J; or Twelfth Night.
But somebody must have amused him.
I don’t mind writing down that I love you,
But what can I say? I have lost my way.
How do I find the words to express my feelings for you?
I am lost without you. But I keep on writing on page 2.
With you, I feel so much better.
You warm me up with your kindness.
I gotta know, I never want to let you down,
You fill my heart with a brand new sound,
Taking away all of my sadness.
My way is all that I thought about.
I never wanted changes, but it happened.
And now I know with or without,
You make me this way.
I thank you for reading my letter.
I don’t mind writing down that I love you,
But what can I say? I have lost my way.
How do I find the words to express my feelings for you?
I am lost without you, I’m telling the truth, start
something new,
What can I do? Do you feel it too? Where do I go? No
more ideas,
Making this song, just writing on, run out of paper,
broken my pencil,
Just keep scribbling on and on and on and on and on and
on and on and on
