Tom Clegg may refer to:
Shaun Mark Bean (born 17 April 1959), known professionally as Sean Bean, is an English actor. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he made his professional debut in a theatre production of Romeo and Juliet in 1983. Retaining his distinctive Yorkshire accent, he first found mainstream success for his portrayal of Richard Sharpe in the ITV series Sharpe. Bean has since garnered further recognition for his performance as Ned Stark in the HBO epic fantasy series Game of Thrones, as well as roles in the BBC anthology series Accused and the ITV historical drama series Henry VIII. His most prominent film role was Boromir in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–03).
Other roles include Alec Trevelyan in the James Bond film GoldenEye (1995) and Odysseus in Troy (2004), as well as roles in Patriot Games (1992), Ronin (1998), National Treasure (2004), North Country (2005), The Island (2005), Silent Hill (2006), Black Death (2010), Jupiter Ascending (2015) and The Martian (2015). As a voice actor, Bean has been featured in the video game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and the drama The Canterbury Tales, among several others. He has received several awards during his career and won an International Emmy for Best Actor. He has also been nominated for a BAFTA and Saturn Award.
Daragh O'Malley (born 25 May 1954) is an Irish born film, theatre and television actor who has appeared in a large number of TV series, films and films for television. O'Malley is perhaps best known for his portrayal of the ever-faithful Patrick Harper in the long-running [1993-2009] Sharpe TV series with Sean Bean. O'Malley has appeared in a wide range of productions beginning with roles in the iconic films The Long Good Friday and Withnail and I, guest roles in many UK television series including Waking The Dead, Wire in the Blood, Silent Witness and Vera, and leading roles in a number of US productions including The Magnificent Seven, Texas, Vendetta, Cleopatra and Shaughnessy. In 2011 O'Malley returned to the stage after a twelve-year absence playing Father Jack in a UK National Tour of Dancing at Lughnasa which was nominated for an MTA Best Production Award and followed that playing John Rainey in a London revival of Irvine's Mixed Marriage which received very positive reviews. In Autumn 2014, O'Malley appeared as Big Daddy in a widely acclaimed production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at The Royal Exchange Theatre Manchester for which O'Malley was nominated for an MTA Best Actor award .http://www.themanchesterreview.co.uk/?p=4249. UK's The Stage selected O'Malley's performance in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof as one of the Top Five Performances in UK theatre in 2014. Abigail Lucy Cruttenden (born 23 March 1968) is an English actress.
Cruttenden played opposite Sean Bean as his character's onscreen wife Jane in several episodes of the TV series Sharpe. She is currently appearing in the sitcom Not Going Out as Anna, one of Lee and Lucy's new neighbours.
Cruttenden lives in Sheen. She married actor Sean Bean in 1997 and had a daughter, Evie. Three months later the couple started divorce proceedings; they divorced in 2000. In 2003, she married Jonathan Fraser. They have a child, Merle.
Her grandmother, Cynthia Coatts, ran the Rosslyn School of Dance and Drama in London, while her late mother, Julia Cruttenden, ran the stage make-up school "Greasepaint" in London. Her brother is Hal Cruttenden, the stand-up comedian.
