The Obamas' new home features a dramatic stairway from the street.

We love the look of this sprawling Tudor home, but it’s going to break our hearts to see the Obamas move in when their White House run ends in January.

The family will rent the 8,200-square-foot house in Washington, D.C.’s upscale Kalorama neighborhood, according to real estate agent Mark McFadden of The McFadden Group. The home is just a short distance from the White House, and its traditional interior isn’t too far off, either:

A clean, traditional aesthetic is similar to the Obamas' current White House setup.

Who needs the White House kitchen when you have this?!

The historic 1920s home has a charming brick-lined fireplace.

Barack and Michelle Obama’s new abode comes with nine bedrooms, eight and a half bathrooms, a kitchen decked with marble countertops, and sprawling gardens that could make for a nice Easter egg roll, should the family ever get nostalgic for the White House days.

The Obamas plan to stay in the D.C. area until Sasha graduates from high school next year, reports the The New York Times.

We’ll gladly stop by to hang out.

In addition to bedrooms, the home has an “au pair suite” for live-in guests.

Ahh, home sweet castle.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this story misstated which of the Obamas’ daughters is still in high school. It’s Sasha, not Malia.
