A gunfight breaks out at the flooded cemetery.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
A natural disaster breeds man-made treachery in this suspense thriller. Severe flooding threatens an Indiana town after a massive rainstorm taxes dams to the breaking point. As part of an emergency evacuation effort, armored car driver Tom (Christian Slater) and his uncle Charlie (Edward Asner) are recruited to collect cash from the town's banks and drive it to safety. However, a gang of thieves led by Jim (Morgan Freeman) plan to lay siege to the truck and steal the $3 million on board. After Jim attempts to ambush the truck, Tom hides the cash and reports the attempted theft to the local sheriff (Randy Quaid). However, the sheriff's lack of honesty soon becomes apparent; he puts Tom in a lockup and sets out to take the money for himself. As the flood waters rise, Tom has to escape from jail if he is to save both the townspeople's savings and his own life. Meanwhile, Jim and the sheriff are locked in a race to see who can find the $3 million first. Minnie Driver, Richard A. Dysart, and Betty White highlight Hard Rain's supporting cast.

Peter Murnik
Peter Murnik (born December 14, 1965) is an American actor known for his various roles in television. Such shows include: JAG, Pensacola: Wings of Gold, Martial Law, and ER. He also had a role in the 1998 movie Hard Rain; where he played Phil.
He is perhaps best known for his role as Lt. Martel in the two-part Seinfeld episode "The Trip". He investigated a murder case in Los Angeles and arrested Kramer as the serial killer, but eventually let him go after a long interrogation that put Kramer in tears.
He is currently a main star in the BYUtv series, Granite Flats.
Murnik attended Boston University, and the same high school as actors William Hurt and Steve Carell.

Condé Nast Traveler is a luxury and lifestyle travel magazine published by Condé Nast. The magazine has won twenty-five National Magazine Awards.
Condé Nast Traveler was founded by Sir Harold Evans in 1987, with a focus on literary journalism and hard news reporting. As founder and Editor in Chief, Evans coined the motto "Truth in Travel," which declared that travel industry freebies would not be accepted.
Condé Nast Traveler is currently led by Editor in Chief Pilar Guzman. Ms. Guzman was the founding editor of Cookie magazine from 2005-2009. FILM DESCRIPTION: A natural disaster breeds man-made treachery in this suspense thriller. Severe flooding threatens an Indiana town after a massive rainstorm taxes dams to the breaking point. As part of an emergency evacuation effort, armored car driver Tom (Christian Slater) and his uncle Charlie (Edward Asner) are recruited to collect cash from the town's banks and drive it to safety. However, a gang of thieves led by Jim (Morgan Freeman) plan to lay siege to the truck and steal the $3 million on board. After Jim attempts to ambush the truck, Tom hides the cash and reports the attempted theft to the local sheriff (Randy Quaid). FILM DESCRIPTION:
A natural disaster breeds man-made treachery in this suspense thriller. Severe flooding threatens an Indiana town after a massive rainstorm taxes dams to the breaking point. As part of an emergency evacuation effort, armored car driver Tom (Christian Slater) and his uncle Charlie (Edward Asner) are recruited to collect cash from the town's banks and drive it to safety. However, a gang of thieves led by Jim (Morgan Freeman) plan to lay siege to the truck and steal the $3 million on board. After Jim attempts to ambush the truck, Tom hides the cash and reports the attempted theft to the local sheriff (Randy Quaid). However, the sheriff's lack of honesty soon becomes apparent; he puts Tom in a lockup and sets out to take the money for himself. As the flood waters rise, Tom has to escape from jail if he is to save both the townspeople's savings and his own life. This year the international platform MFRU-KIBLIX returns with the inspiring energy of the 21st century with Lift ME up! a slogan highlighting the idea of exemplary interconnection of art, science and technology in the up-to-date intermedia entirety, crowning previous successful years of events at the MFRU and KIBLIX festivals in Maribor. MFRU-KIBLIX 2015 festival shares the spirit of the European year of light and luminance, artistically announcing an overall way out of gloomy modernity – towards the light, fresh air, art. Exclusively up. Lift me up and elevate yourself!
Every installation is in its essence therefore an interactive work of art which enables visual and/or auditory experiences; it is an act of reality transformation. The daily routine of life with all of its banalities, values, pleasures, rest, develops into a unique virtual “ecosystem”.
The festival concept of MFRU-KIBLIX is to thematize relationships between society, system and technology. Thematization of technologically augmented social events and admonishing the indecency of modern art, which deliberately dropped the human compass, is the mission of MFRU-XIBLIX festival platform. Accordingly, artistic installations also happen to include an evolution of natural occurring electronic synthesizers and offer a reconsideration of the theory by which sound waves travel through lithosphere. And more. They combine a man and technology.
Once again the international festival platform introduces the events in KIBLA PORTAL in Maribor, an old textile factory hall covering 2000 m2, combining the festival’s units in one location. Thus, artists, cultural workers, explorers, scientists, educators and visitors, hungry for knowledge on scientific-technological-artistic theoretical and practical work, can get together.
The festival’s platform unites people willing to share and experience creative forms of artistic experimentation and interpretation. It includes interaction with various target audiences and appeals to the active cooperation of everyone; young and creative people, students and experts in particular. With intertwining branches of culture and science, they constructively exchange cultural models of critical reflection, activism and experimentation with scientific methods, research work and knowledge.
Presentation of contemporary visual art, artists and authors, through transdisciplinary connection, leads to further sophistication of knowledge and acquiring additional skills in the professional realm, integrating practical knowledge and scientific and technological research work; and last, but not least, improving the quality of creative works.

A gunfight breaks out at the flooded cemetery.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
A natural disaster breeds man-made treachery in this suspense thriller. Severe flooding threatens an Indiana town after a massive rainstorm taxes dams to the breaking point. As part of an emergency evacuation effort, armored car driver Tom (Christian Slater) and his uncle Charlie (Edward Asner) are recruited to collect cash from the town's banks and drive it to safety. However, a gang of thieves led by Jim (Morgan Freeman) plan to lay siege to the truck and steal the $3 million on board. After Jim attempts to ambush the truck, Tom hides the cash and reports the attempted theft to the local sheriff (Randy Quaid). However, the sheriff's lack of honesty soon becomes apparent; he puts Tom in a lockup and sets out to take the money for himself. As the flood waters rise, Tom has to escape from jail if he is to save both the townspeople's savings and his own life. Meanwhile, Jim and the sheriff are locked in a race to see who can find the $3 million first. Minnie Driver, Richard A. Dysart, and Betty White highlight Hard Rain's supporting cast.

When Bill Chrashank loses his arm in a car accident, the arm of an executed death row inmate is grafted on in its place. The only problem, as Bill soon discovers, is that the arm is possessed by a force he cannot control.
