London's Heathrow International Airport - LHR

Heathrow Airport is a major international airport in west London, England. Heathrow is the busiest airport in the United Kingdom, busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic, and third busiest airport in the world by total passenger traffic. In 2014, it handled a record 73.4 million passengers, a 1.4 percent increase from 2013. Heathrow lies 12 nautical miles (22 km; 14 mi) west of Central London, and has two parallel east–west runways along with four operational terminals on a site that covers 12.14 square kilometres (4.69 sq mi). The airport is owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings, which itself is owned by FGP TopCo Limited, an international consortium led by the Spanish Ferrovial Group that includes Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. Heathrow is the primary hub for British Airways and the primary operating base for Virgin Atlantic. In September 2012, the UK government established the Airports Commission, an independent commission chaired by Sir Howard Davies to examine various options for increasing capacity at UK airports. The commission shortlisted two options for expanding Heathrow in its interim report in 2013, along with a third option for expanding Gatwick Airport. The final report, published on 1 July 2015, backed a third runway at Heathrow.

(That's what happens when you rush editing) An absolutely beautiful evening at London Heathrow, one of the warmest days of the year so far, temperatures reaching 17 degrees, which isn't bad for April! But quite a gusty, north easterly wind bringing in the cold air from Scandinavia. I'd seen the forecast was good so decided to make the most of the clear skies and head down to Heathrow to catch the array of late afternoon and evening heavy arrivals. LHR is very much a split airport. The morning and afternoon sees a majority of trans-atlantic flights while the evening sees mostly heavy arrivals from the Far East, Middle East & Asia. This is my first late evening visit to Heathrow this year and there's a few noticeable changes. A few new airlines and different aircraft. So enjoy, every heavy arrival on RWY09L at Heathrow between 15:30 & 20:00! 32 minutes of non-stop heavies! :D *All aircraft information & origins are featured on screen! A fairly standard busy afternoon at London Heathrow Airport on a warm sunny Tuesday of July 1st 2014. Wind blowing from the east meant that the 09 runways were in use which means more brilliant close up arrivals on 09L! I've flight numbers and origins of the flights I knew! Check out the Air France A321 go-around! It was due to a BA A320 still being on the runway ahead of it, it landed safely about 10mins after. INCLUDES: Qatar A340-600, Etihad A340-600, EgyptAir A330, Kuwait, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, PIA, American Airlines, TAM Brazil, ELAL & Turkish 777's! British Airways BA16: Singapore Changi SIN ✈ London Heathrow LHR

SIN-LHR and vv is a huge contested sector, where SQ sends 4 A380 service (4th A380 was reinstated recently) daily while BA flies twice daily (one A380, the other being B777 flying SYD-SIN-LHR). Passengers from SYD flew almost 22 hours on their way to LHR, imagine how tired they are. There have been some hiccups while recording during this trip, and I apologise. First, I really wanted to fly to AMS with SQ's newest A350, but my travel agent was not able to give me good quotes, so I went with this instead. Then then video for takeoff run got corrupted, and I was so tired I slept through dinner service. Still a good experience overall. Soundtrack by Biggie. This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" 1080p HD! Well its fair to say this trip to Heathrow didn't go quite to plan. On our way to Hatton Cross the Piccadilly tube line was suspended due to trespassers on the line in the Hatton Cross area! So we were forced to take the bus which didn't get us there until 2pm so we only had an hour or so before the runways swap. So this is what we caught in that short hour of Heathrow departures between 2 - 3pm. INCLUDES: British Airways 747's & 777's, Emirates A380, Virgin 747, American Airlines 777's, United 777, Aeroflot A330, Delta 767-400, Air Canada 777 and a Vietnam 787-9 seen departing the opposite runway after the 3pm runway swap. TURBULENCE! Eurowings A320 Full Flight | London Heathrow (LHR) to Düsseldorf (DUS)

Full flight with on-screen flight data and information, onboard a Eurowings Airbus A320-214 from London Heathrow Airport (EGLL/LHR), UK to Düsseldorf Airport (EDDL/DUS), Germany. Gooday everyone, as you must surely know by now, I recently returned from this year's mammoth spotting trip in Germany. Well today's video shows the beginning of that trip, the outbound flight! Spend half an hour flying with me from Terminal 2 at London Heathrow International Airport (LHR/EGLL), across London, Essex, the North Sea, the Netherlands, West Germany and into Düsseldorf Airport (DUS/EDDL) onboard a Eurowings, sharklet equipped Airbus A320 (D-AIZV). We travelled with Eurowings' "Basic Fare" option, effectively economy class which was absolutely fine for this short hour long flight. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Eurowings, despite departing late (which I must say was largely due to the departure queue at LHR) we made up a lot of time and only arrived 10 minutes behind schedule - no big deal. Wind blowing from the east meant that the 09 runways were in use which means more brilliant close up arrivals on 09L! I've flight numbers and origins of the flights I knew! Check out the Air France A321 go-around! It was due to a BA A320 still being on the runway ahead of it, it landed safely about 10mins after. SIN-LHR and vv is a huge contested sector, where SQ sends 4 A380 service (4th A380 was reinstated recently) daily while BA flies twice daily (one A380, the other being B777 flying SYD-SIN-LHR). Passengers from SYD flew almost 22 hours on their way to LHR, imagine how tired they are. There have been some hiccups while recording during this trip, and I apologise. First, I really wanted to fly to AMS with SQ's newest A350, but my travel agent was not able to give me good quotes, so I went with this instead. Then then video for takeoff run got corrupted, and I was so tired I slept through dinner service. Still a good experience overall. Soundtrack by Biggie. On our way to Hatton Cross the Piccadilly tube line was suspended due to trespassers on the line in the Hatton Cross area! So we were forced to take the bus which didn't get us there until 2pm so we only had an hour or so before the runways swap. So this is what we caught in that short hour of Heathrow departures between 2 - 3pm. Gooday everyone, as you must surely know by now, I recently returned from this year's mammoth spotting trip in Germany. Well today's video shows the beginning of that trip, the outbound flight! Spend half an hour flying with me from Terminal 2 at London Heathrow International Airport (LHR/EGLL), across London, Essex, the North Sea, the Netherlands, West Germany and into Düsseldorf Airport (DUS/EDDL) onboard a Eurowings, sharklet equipped Airbus A320 (D-AIZV). We travelled with Eurowings' "Basic Fare" option, effectively economy class which was absolutely fine for this short hour long flight. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Eurowings, despite departing late (which I must say was largely due to the departure queue at LHR) we made up a lot of time and only arrived 10 minutes behind schedule - no big deal. Heathrow is the busiest airport in the United Kingdom, busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic, and third busiest airport in the world by total passenger traffic. (That's what happens when you rush editing) An absolutely beautiful evening at London Heathrow, one of the warmest days of the year so far, temperatures reaching 17 degrees, which isn't bad for April! But quite a gusty, north easterly wind bringing in the cold air from Scandinavia. I'd seen the forecast was good so decided to make the most of the clear skies and head down to Heathrow to catch the array of late afternoon and evening heavy arrivals. (That's what happens when you rush editing) An absolutely beautiful evening at London Heathrow, one of the warmest days of the year so far, temperatures reaching 17 degrees, which isn't bad for April! But quite a gusty, north easterly wind bringing in the cold air from Scandinavia. I'd seen the forecast was good so decided to make the most of the clear skies and head down to Heathrow to catch the array of late afternoon and evening heavy arrivals. LHR is very much a split airport. The morning and afternoon sees a majority of trans-atlantic flights while the evening sees mostly heavy arrivals from the Far East, Middle East & Asia. This is my first late evening visit to Heathrow this year and there's a few noticeable changes. A few new airlines and different aircraft. Passengers from SYD flew almost 22 hours on their way to LHR, imagine how tired they are. There have been some hiccups while recording during this trip, and I apologise. First, I really wanted to fly to AMS with SQ's newest A350, but my travel agent was not able to give me good quotes, so I went with this instead. Then then video for takeoff run got corrupted, and I was so tired I slept through dinner service. Still a good experience overall. Soundtrack by Biggie. Gooday everyone, as you must surely know by now, I recently returned from this year's mammoth spotting trip in Germany. Well today's video shows the beginning of that trip, the outbound flight! Spend half an hour flying with me from Terminal 2 at London Heathrow International Airport (LHR/EGLL), across London, Essex, the North Sea, the Netherlands, West Germany and into Düsseldorf Airport (DUS/EDDL) onboard a Eurowings, sharklet equipped Airbus A320 (D-AIZV). We travelled with Eurowings' "Basic Fare" option, effectively economy class which was absolutely fine for this short hour long flight. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Eurowings, despite departing late (which I must say was largely due to the departure queue at LHR) we made up a lot of time and only arrived 10 minutes behind schedule - no big deal. Gooday everyone, as you must surely know by now, I recently returned from this year's mammoth spotting trip in Germany. Well today's video shows the beginning of that trip, the outbound flight! Spend half an hour flying with me from Terminal 2 at London Heathrow International Airport (LHR/EGLL), across London, Essex, the North Sea, the Netherlands, West Germany and into Düsseldorf Airport (DUS/EDDL) onboard a Eurowings, sharklet equipped Airbus A320 (D-AIZV). We travelled with Eurowings' "Basic Fare" option, effectively economy class which was absolutely fine for this short hour long flight. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Eurowings, despite departing late (which I must say was largely due to the departure queue at LHR) we made up a lot of time and only arrived 10 minutes behind schedule - no big deal. Heathrow Airport is a major international airport in west London, England. Heathrow is the busiest airport in the United Kingdom, busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic, and third busiest airport in the world by total passenger traffic. In 2014, it handled a record 73.4 million passengers, a 1.4 percent increase from 2013. Heathrow lies 12 nautical miles (22 km; 14 mi) west of Central London, and has two parallel east–west runways along with four operational terminals on a site that covers 12.14 square kilometres (4.69 sq mi). The airport is owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings, which itself is owned by FGP TopCo Limited, an international consortium led by the Spanish Ferrovial Group that includes Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. Heathrow is the primary hub for British Airways and the primary operating base for Virgin Atlantic. In September 2012, the UK government established the Airports Commission, an independent commission chaired by Sir Howard Davies to examine various options for increasing capacity at UK airports. The commission shortlisted two options for expanding Heathrow in its interim report in 2013, along with a third option for expanding Gatwick Airport. The final report, published on 1 July 2015, backed a third runway at Heathrow.

(That's what happens when you rush editing) An absolutely beautiful evening at London Heathrow, one of the warmest days of the year so far, temperatures reaching 17 degrees, which isn't bad for April! But quite a gusty, north easterly wind bringing in the cold air from Scandinavia. I'd seen the forecast was good so decided to make the most of the clear skies and head down to Heathrow to catch the array of late afternoon and evening heavy arrivals. LHR is very much a split airport. The morning and afternoon sees a majority of trans-atlantic flights while the evening sees mostly heavy arrivals from the Far East, Middle East & Asia. This is my first late evening visit to Heathrow this year and there's a few noticeable changes. A few new airlines and different aircraft. SIN-LHR and vv is a huge contested sector, where SQ sends 4 A380 service (4th A380 was reinstated recently) daily while BA flies twice daily (one A380, the other being B777 flying SYD-SIN-LHR). Passengers from SYD flew almost 22 hours on their way to LHR, imagine how tired they are. There have been some hiccups while recording during this trip, and I apologise. First, I really wanted to fly to AMS with SQ's newest A350, but my travel agent was not able to give me good quotes, so I went with this instead. On our way to Hatton Cross the Piccadilly tube line was suspended due to trespassers on the line in the Hatton Cross area! So we were forced to take the bus which didn't get us there until 2pm so we only had an hour or so before the runways swap. So this is what we caught in that short hour of Heathrow departures between 2 - 3pm.
