The Wall
The Wall is the eleventh studio album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd. It is the last studio album released with the classic lineup of guitarist David Gilmour, bassist/lyricist Roger Waters, keyboardist Richard Wright and drummer Nick Mason before Wright left the band. Released as a double album on 30 November 1979, it was supported by a tour with elaborate theatrical effects, and adapted into a 1982 feature film, Pink Floyd – The Wall. The album features the band's only number one single; "Another Brick in the Wall Part 2".
As with Pink Floyd's previous three albums, The Wall is a concept album and explores themes of abandonment and personal isolation. The album is a rock opera that follows Pink, a character whom Waters modelled after himself and the band's original leader, Syd Barrett. Pink's life begins with the loss of his father during the Second World War and continues with abuse from his schoolteachers, an overprotective mother, and the breakdown of his marriage; all contribute to his eventual self-imposed isolation from society, represented by a metaphorical wall. Waters conceived the album during Pink Floyd's 1977 In the Flesh Tour, when his frustration with the audience became so acute that he imagined a wall between the audience and the stage.

Plot: Is there room for principle in Los Angeles? Mike Terry teaches jujitsu and barely makes ends meet. A woman sideswipes Mike's car and then, after an odd sequence of events, shoots out the studio's window. Later that evening, Mike rescues an action movie star in a fistfight at a bar. In return, the actor befriends Mike, gives him a gift, offers him work on his newest film, and introduces Mike's wife to his own - the women initiate business dealings. Then, things go sour all at once, Mike's debts mount, and going into the ring may be his only option.

Pink Floyd "The Wall" Documentary is a 25 minute documentary based around The Wall live shows, and features the unloading of the touring equipment as it arrives at the Earls Court venue in 1980, it goes on to show Roger at sound check, and a general walk about during the set up of the August London shows, and includes interviews with the Pink Floyd and their crew. It was August 1980, at Earls Court, when cameras recorded the frenetic operation of the entire load-in process. One editor, working alone for six months, was able to create this 'behind-the-scenes' documentary. The film successfully shows the magnitude of people and material necessary to mount this incredible production. This is a fixed version of Pink Floyd's live performance of The Wall from Nassau Coliseum filmed on 27 February, 1980. A better source video was released (the other versions on here are blurry from many generation VHS sources, this is from a newly found source not removed from many generations) and I fixed the music dropouts on "One of My Turns" and "The Trial" by lifting from the next night's performance and seamlessly edited it as precise as I could. I hope you enjoy! BTW, I'm not profiteering from this, just want fellow Pink Floyd fans to see this show and then buy The Wall album on either LP/CD or the 6-CD/1-DVD box set. Pink Floyd "The Wall" Documentary is a 25 minute documentary based around The Wall live shows, and features the unloading of the touring equipment as it arrives at the Earls Court venue in 1980, it goes on to show Roger at sound check, and a general walk about during the set up of the August London shows, and includes interviews with the Pink Floyd and their crew. It was August 1980, at Earls Court, when cameras recorded the frenetic operation of the entire load-in process.
One editor, working alone for six months, was able to create this 'behind-the-scenes' documentary. The film successfully shows the magnitude of people and material necessary to mount this incredible production. The staging of this concert has been referred to as, "...possibly twice the size of any other show done in rock & roll thus far." (meaning 1980)
Perhaps more significant. this performance would be the last for the band with all the original members who recorded the album.
In the melee of the breakup. this documentary was archived and forgotten for nearly a quarter century.

A better source video was released (the other versions on here are blurry from many generation VHS sources, this is from a newly found source not removed from many generations) and I fixed the music dropouts on "One of My Turns" and "The Trial" by lifting from the next night's performance and seamlessly edited it as precise as I could. I hope you enjoy! BTW, I'm not profiteering from this, just want fellow Pink Floyd fans to see this show and then buy The Wall album on either LP/CD or the 6-CD/1-DVD box set.
