Futsal is the only small sided game sanctioned by, and recommended by, FIFA and UEFA . Futsal meets the requirements for teaching players the tactical concepts and skills that are compatible with the traditional outdoor game.
Futsal develops creativity and imagination. Decision making times are reduced dramatically because of the small space the players have to work in and the speed of the game itself.
The Scottish Football Association is working in partnership with the Scottish Futsal League and The Scottish Amateur FA to deliver an Adult Futsal League structure within Scotland. The winners of Regional Leagues will compete in a National competition, with the National champions going on to represent Scotland at the UEFA Club Championships.
