Plot: This story revolves around Malhar Gopaldas Agnihotri, a out-of-work actor, poor, and dependent on his father, who is heading for retirement. Malhar knows that he can act, very well indeed, all he needs is some encouragement, and some money. He gets neither. His father is abusive, and even gets physical with him openly in front of all the neighors, and even the neighborhood. Malhar loves a young lady named Apoorva Choudhury, but his affections are mis-applied, as Apoorva only regards him as a friend, and she loves Nihal Joshi, a Police Inspector. Frustrated at the lack of love and encouragement, Malhar takes recourse in an exercise, an exersise that will put him in direct confrontation with the law, as it starts with murder.

Plot: American-returned Shankar Narayan is baffled to witness his former businessman and jailbird dad posing as a soothsayer by the name of Mahaprabhu Janak Sagar Jagat Narayan in a small town called Dharampur. He comes to know that his dad has learned a few magician's tricks from a fellow-inmate, and is able to fool the entire township with his "divine" powers. Shankar enlists the assistance of noted magician Goga, and brings him to Dharampur. Goga challenges the Mahaprabhu; is able to dethrone him; oust him from his temple, and takes over. His task over, Shankar asks Goga to leave, but power-hungry Goga, who now calls himself Gogeshwar, refuses to let go of his new-found position.

Plot: After the passing away of his widowed mother, Shekhar, lives a poor lifestyle, and runs a garage along with his much younger friend, Birju; dislikes women, and has stopped worshiping God. When Birju introduces him to Kanchan, a runaway, he refuses to have to do anything with her, but when he finds out that her uncle, Shivraj, has offered a reward for her return, decides to befriend her and both fall in love. Kanchan herself notifies her uncle, who arrives, but returns after permitting her to marry Shekhar. The two get married and soon birth to Baabla, and the trio live a fairly harmonious lifestyle. Their idyllic lifestyle is shattered when Shekhar is given a suitcase by his friend, Bill, who eventually ends up dead. Shekhar opens the suitcase, finds it contains stolen diamonds, and decides to keep them much to Kanchan's displeasure. Shekhar does not know that soon Baabla and then Kanchan will be abducted by two different gangs, headed by Munne Khan and George respectively, and that he will be betrayed by one of his friends, as well as his very own life will be in jeopardy.
