CTA may refer to:
The CTA has more than 224 miles of railroad tracks across Chicago and surrounding suburbs, serving the agency's eight rail lines. In an average weekday, there are about 2,200 train trips making stops at the system's 145 rail stations. For more than 100 years, the 'L' has offered a unique perspective of Chicago. In the first-ever documentation of its kind, the CTA has created a real-time ride along the length of each rail line. Shot in HD, you can now experience the 'L' like never before from the vantage point of the rail operator. You can even transfer between lines. Hop aboard, and enjoy the ride. What is going on everybody, it is thesimulatorgamer here with some more Train Simulator 2016! This video has been long awaited, it is finally the CTA Blue Line! I know, this took a while to get out. The route took countless hours to make, so here it is. We will be in control of a 3200 series train (the Blue Line uses the 2600 series cars, but they have not yet been made. The 3200 series cars are a close second) starting at O'Hare International Airport and ending in Forest Park. We will be making all the stops as if we were a normal Blue Line service train. Thanks so much for watching, make sure to give the video a like and subscribe! Also, make sure to check back tomorrow for some more American Truck Simulator. Thanks and see you then!:) Rock Intro 2 by Audionautix is licensed under a Cr...
The developer did a great job with the train scripting; the blend braking is almost perfect, better than anything DTG has done with American equipment. Makes me feel that if someone with this level of skill could develop the NYC Subway System for RailWorks, it would come out pretty decently. On April 3, 2016, the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) & the Illinois Railway Museum put together a 1970's themed charter with a two set four car train with 2400 Series cars used for the train. The whole trip the train traveled on all the lines, and more! Comment, Rate, Share, & Subscribe for more Videos! The Chicago Transit Authority has released video of a collision involving an empty moving train, dubbed the "ghost train." On September 30, 2013 the unmanned four-car train rolled out of the CTA West Side rail yard, accelerated down the Blue Line at a speed of about 24 miles an hour, then crashed into another train loaded with morning commuters at the Harlem station. WGN Radio received security video from the so-called “ghost train” crash following a Freedom of Information Act request. The video captures several camera angles the moments just prior to, during and after impact. Passengers onboard the stopped train can be seen hitting walls, poles, and seats on impact. Many showing signs of bumps and bruises. One man's phone flings out of an open door. There is confusion immediately ...
The Wilson Station on the CTA Red Line is undergoing a massive construction project. I shot several scenes before construction began to show historic track viaducts that have since been torn down. I also took timelapse shots of the corridor between Lawrence and Granville Stations showing the Red Line local trains and the Purple Line Express trains. The Purple Line tracks are deteriorating, causing the express trains to run at 15-20mph for much of the way. These tracks will be replaced soon to bring the running speed back to 55mpg.
I can taste the wreckage
Of dismembered dreams
Ghostly disciple, nothing as it seems
I will follow you until this dark cloud recedes
Pain of another, heal this I plead
My heart still bleeds for you
Take the long way home
My heart still bleeds for you
Solemn times stain us like
The blood of all that's unknown
This cursed you the worst
Give me your love
Solemn times stain us like
