"Glee" star Dianna Agron and Mumford & Sons singer Winston Marshall are engaged. Us Weekly reports that Marshall popped the question over the holidays. The two were first spotted together in July, when paparazzi took snaps of the pair holding hands in Paris. The couple also attended a party together in August in West Hollywood. A source told Us Weekly: "Dianna was smiling and laughing a lot, and seemed really happy." Marshall isn't the only Mumford & Sons member married to a Hollywood star; Marcus Mumford married Carey Mulligan in 2012 and the couple welcomed daughter Evelyn in September.

Winston Aubrey Aladar Marshall is a British musician, best known as the banjoist in the Grammy Award winning British folk rock band Mumford & Sons. On Mumford and Sons's third album, Wilder Mind, Marshall is credited as 'WN5TN'.
Early life
Winston's father is Paul Marshall, a British investor, philanthropist, and co-founder of the Marshall Wace LLP hedge fund,. His mother, Sabina, is of French descent. Educated at St Paul's School, an independent school in London, England. Marshall has one sibling, a sister, named Giovanna.
Music career
Marshall is a founding member of the British folk band Mumford & Sons. He plays the banjo, bass guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, dobro, and provides backing vocals. Marshall performed with two of his current band members, Marcus Mumford and Ted Dwane, with Laura Marling before Mumford & Sons.
Before Mumford & Sons became established, Marshall ran a jam night at Bosun's Locker, a tiny music club beneath a pasty shop on the King's Road in Fulham, where a number of musicians who had an affinity for earthy acoustic music hung out and played with each other in fluid lineups.

Dianna Agron
Dianna Elise Agron (/ˈeɪɡrɒn/; born April 30, 1986) is an American actress, singer, dancer, and music video director. Agron made her television debut appearing as Jessica Grant in CSI: NY in 2006. From 2006 to 2007, Agron had recurring roles in Veronica Mars as Jenny Budosh, and Heroes as Debbie Marshall. She is also the creator and co-editor of the music, art and photography website You, Me and Charlie.
In 2009, Agron was cast in her most notable TV role to date as Quinn Fabray on the Fox musical comedy-drama series, Glee. In 2011, Agron co-starred in the films The Hunters and I Am Number Four. Later that year, a concert film of Glee was released, titled Glee: The 3D Concert Movie. In 2013, Agron co-starred as Belle Blake, alongside Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Tommy Lee Jones in the action crime-comedy film The Family.
Early life
Agron was born in Savannah, Georgia, and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and San Francisco, California. She is the daughter of Mary and Ronald S. Agron, a general manager of Hyatt hotels. Due to this, Agron said she and her family lived in different hotels growing up. She has a younger brother, Jason. Agron's father's family is originally from Russia, and according to Agron their original surname, Agronsky, was altered by Ellis Island officials. Her father was born to a Jewish family, while her mother converted to Judaism. Agron attended Hebrew school and had a bat mitzvah. When she was 15, she found out that her father had multiple sclerosis. In an interview for Cosmopolitan, she revealed, "Quite a bit changed after that. At that age, you don't see mortality in your parents." The disease caused her parents' relationship to fall apart, and they decided to separate, which was devastating for her and her younger brother. She stated, "I had to play therapist to my family... be the glue. Those kinds of things I'm not ready to speak about yet."

The two were first spotted together in July, when paparazzi took snaps of the pair holding hands in Paris. The couple also attended a party together in August in West Hollywood. A source told Us Weekly: "Dianna was smiling and laughing a lot, and seemed really happy." Marshall isn't the only Mumford & Sons member married to a Hollywood star; Marcus Mumford married Carey Mulligan in 2012 and the couple welcomed daughter Evelyn in September.

Florida State took the lead on their first drive of the game, as Jameis Winston completed three passes en route to Roberto Aguayo's 35-yard field goal. After the two teams traded punts (including a rare Seminole three-and-out from the goal line), Auburn went to work.
The Tigers started with the ball on the Seminoles' 25-yard-line, and Nick Marshall found C.J. Uzomah for a crucial first down. Three plays later, Marshall hit Heisman finalist Tre Mason for the 12-yard touchdown, making the score 7-3. It was the first time Florida State trailed since Sept. 28, when they were down 3-0 to Boston College in the first quarter.
Auburn struck again on their first drive of the second quarter. Mason opened the possession with a 23-yard run, and Florida State was called for unsportsmanlike conduct on the next play, which was a rush for a loss. On the ensuing play, Marshall found Melvin Ray wide open over the middle for the 50-yard touchdown, making the score 14-3.
After another Florida State three-and-out, Auburn drove down the field before Cody Parkey's missed 33-yard field goal attempt. On the next Seminole drive, Jameis Winston fumbled, giving the ball away. The Tigers capitalized, capping off their next drive with Marshall's four-yard run to make it 21-3.
Florida State finally woke up on the next drive, with a sense of urgency as the half drew to a close and a blowout loss a possibility. Karlos Williams rattled off a group of strong runs, and Winston found Rashad Greene for a 12-yard gain near the red zone. On third-and-7, Winston escaped the pocket and ran down the left sideline for 21 yards before being knocked out of bounds at the 3. On the next play, Devonta Freeman burst through for the touchdown to cut the deficit to 21-10.
The Seminoles struck first in the second half as well, taking the ball from their own 9 down the field (helped by Winston's 24-yard completion to Kelvin Benjamin) and leading to Aguayo's 41-yard field goal. Those ended up being the only points of the third quarter, as the Tigers entered the final period with a 21-13 lead.
Early in the fourth quarter, Marshall finally made a mistake, lofting the ball to the right side. P.J. Williams leaped for a great interception, swinging momentum back in favor of the Seminoles. Winston and Devonta Freeman moved down the field with ease, and the quarterback (finally with time in the pocket) found Chad Abram for the 11-yard score. Unsportsmanlike conduct was called, preventing Florida State from going for the game-tying two-point conversion, and Aguayo hit a long extra point attempt to make it 21-20.
Auburn burned clock and moved down the field on its next drive, with Mason moving over the 125-yard mark on the game. The 13-play drive took off more than six minutes of game time, ending in Parkey's 22-yard field goal and a 24-20 Tigers lead with less than five minutes to play.
Winston didn't even get a chance. On the kickoff, Levonte Whitfield shot straight out of a cannon, dashing 100 yards straight to the end zone, giving Florida State their first lead since the first drive.
Though trailing, Auburn was unafraid to continue running the ball. The Seminoles broke Oklahoma's FBS scoring record on that final scoring play as well, finishing the season with 723 points, surpassing the Sooners' 716.
Florida State took the lead on their first drive of the game, as Jameis Winston completed three passes en route to Roberto Aguayo's 35-yard field goal. After the two teams traded punts (including a rare Seminole three-and-out from the goal line), Auburn went to work.
The Tigers started with the ball on the Seminoles' 25-yard-line, and Nick Marshall found C.J. Uzomah for a crucial first down. Three plays later, Marshall hit Heisman finalist Tre Mason for the 12-yard touchdown, making the score 7-3. It was the first time Florida State trailed since Sept. 28, when they were down 3-0 to Boston College in the first quarter.
Auburn struck again on their first drive of the second quarter. Mason opened the possession with a 23-yard run, and Florida State was called for unsportsmanlike conduct on the next play, which was a rush for a loss. On the ensuing play, Marshall found Melvin Ray wide open over the middle for the 50-yard touchdown, making the score 14-3.
After another Florida State three-and-out, Auburn drove down the field before Cody Parkey's missed 33-yard field goal attempt. On the next Seminole drive, Jameis Winston fumbled, giving the ball away. The Tigers capitalized, capping off their next drive with Marshall's four-yard run to make it 21-3.
Florida State finally woke up on the next drive, with a sense of urgency as the half drew to a close and a blowout loss a possibility. Karlos Williams rattled off a group of strong runs, and Winston found Rashad Greene for a 12-yard gain near the red zone. On third-and-7, Winston escaped the pocket and ran down the left sideline for 21 yards before being knocked out of bounds at the 3. On the next play, Devonta Freeman burst through for the touchdown to cut the deficit to 21-10.
The Seminoles struck first in the second half as well, taking the ball from their own 9 down the field (helped by Winston's 24-yard completion to Kelvin Benjamin) and leading to Aguayo's 41-yard field goal. Those ended up being the only points of the third quarter, as the Tigers entered the final period with a 21-13 lead.
Early in the fourth quarter, Marshall finally made a mistake, lofting the ball to the right side. P.J. Williams leaped for a great interception, swinging momentum back in favor of the Seminoles. Winston and Devonta Freeman moved down the field with ease, and the quarterback (finally with time in the pocket) found Chad Abram for the 11-yard score. Unsportsmanlike conduct was called, preventing Florida State from going for the game-tying two-point conversion, and Aguayo hit a long extra point attempt to make it 21-20.
Auburn burned clock and moved down the field on its next drive, with Mason moving over the 125-yard mark on the game. The 13-play drive took off more than six minutes of game time, ending in Parkey's 22-yard field goal and a 24-20 Tigers lead with less than five minutes to play.
Winston didn't even get a chance. On the kickoff, Levonte Whitfield shot straight out of a cannon, dashing 100 yards straight to the end zone, giving Florida State their first lead since the first drive.
Though trailing, Auburn was unafraid to continue running the ball. George Catlett Marshall (December 31, 1880 -- October 16, 1959) was an American military leader, Chief of Staff of the Army, Secretary of State, and the third Secretary of Defense. Once noted as the "organizer of victory" by Winston Churchill for his leadership of the Allied victory in World War II, Marshall served as the United States Army Chief of Staff during the war and as the chief military adviser to President Franklin D. Roosevelt. As Secretary of State, his name was given to the Marshall Plan, for which he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1953.
In 1919, he became an aide-de-camp to General John J. Pershing. Between 1920 and 1924, while Pershing was Army Chief of Staff, Marshall worked in a number of positions in the US Army, focusing on training and teaching modern, mechanized warfare. Between World Wars I and II, he was a key planner and writer in the War Department, commanded the 15th Infantry Regiment (United States) for three years in China, and taught at the Army War College. From June 1932 to June 1933 he was the Commanding Officer at Fort Screven, Savannah Beach, Georgia, now named Tybee Island. In 1934, Col. Marshall put Edwin F. Harding in charge of the Infantry School's publications, and Harding became editor of Infantry in Battle, a book that codified the lessons of World War I. Infantry in Battle is still used as an officer's training manual in the Infantry Officer's Course and was the training manual for most of the infantry officers and leaders of World War II.
Marshall was promoted to Brigadier General in October 1936. He commanded the Vancouver Barracks in Vancouver, Washington from 1936--1938. Nominated by President Franklin Roosevelt to be Army Chief of Staff, Marshall was promoted to General and sworn in on September 1, 1939, the day German forces invaded Poland, which began World War II. The Marshall Plan (officially the European Recovery Program, ERP) was an American initiative to aid Europe, in which the United States gave $13 billion (approximately $120 billion in current dollar value) in economic support to help rebuild European economies after the end of World War II. The plan was in operation for four years beginning in April 1948. The goals of the United States were to rebuild war-devastated regions, remove trade barriers, modernize industry, make Europe prosperous again, and prevent the spread of communism. The Marshall Plan required a lessening of interstate barriers, a dropping of many petty regulations constraining business, and encouraged an increase in productivity, labour union membership, as well as the adoption of modern business procedures.
The Marshall Plan aid was divided amongst the participant states roughly on a per capita basis. A larger amount was given to the major industrial powers, as the prevailing opinion was that their resuscitation was essential for general European revival. Somewhat more aid per capita was also directed towards the Allied nations, with less for those that had been part of the Axis or remained neutral. The largest recipient of Marshall Plan money was the United Kingdom (receiving about 26% of the total), followed by France (18%) and West Germany (11%). Some 18 European countries received Plan benefits. Although offered participation, the Soviet Union refused Plan benefits, and also blocked benefits to Eastern Bloc countries, such as East Germany and Poland. The United States provided similar aid programs in Asia, but they were not called "Marshall Plan".
The initiative is named after Secretary of State George Marshall. The plan had bipartisan support in Washington, where the Republicans controlled Congress and the Democrats controlled the White House with Harry S. Truman as president. The Plan was largely the creation of State Department officials, especially William L. Clayton and George F. Kennan, with help from Brookings Institution, as requested by Senator Arthur H. Vandenberg, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Marshall spoke of an urgent need to help the European recovery in his address at Harvard University in June 1947.
