Jeffrey Nero "Jeff" Hardy (born August 31, 1977) is an American professional wrestler, singer-songwriter, painter and musician. He is best known for his work with World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/E) and is currently signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).
Before gaining prominence in WWE, Hardy performed for the Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts (OMEGA), a promotion he ran with his brother Matt. After being signed by WWE, the brothers worked as jobbers, before gaining notoriety in the tag team division, partly due to their participation in Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches. With the addition of Lita, the team became known as Team Xtreme and continued to rise in popularity. As a tag team wrestler, Hardy is an eight-time world tag team champion (six World Tag Team Championships, one WCW Tag Team Championship, and one TNA World Tag Team Championship) – all with his brother Matt.
Hardy has also experienced success as a singles wrestler; he is a six-time world champion, having held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship three times, the WWE Championship once and WWE's World Heavyweight Championship twice. Within WWE he also held the Intercontinental Championship four times, the Light Heavyweight and European Championships once each and the Hardcore Championship three times, making him the eighteenth Triple Crown Champion and the tenth Grand Slam Champion in company history. Between WWE and TNA, Hardy has won 23 total championships.
Matthew Moore Hardy (born September 23, 1974) is an American professional wrestler currently signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he is the current TNA World Heavyweight Champion in his second reign. He is best known for his work in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), later renamed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Matt (with brother Jeff) gained notoriety in WWE's tag team division due to their participation in Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches. As a tag team wrestler, Hardy is a nine-time world tag team champion, having held six World Tag Team Championships, one WWE Tag Team Championship, one WCW Tag Team Championship, and one TNA World Tag Team Championship.
Apart from his success as a tag team wrestler, Hardy is a three-time world champion, having held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice and the ECW Championship once. He has also won the WWE's United States, European, Hardcore, and Cruiserweight Championships once each. All totaled, Hardy has won 16 total championships between WWE and TNA.
