Dominic James Howard (born 7 December 1977) is an English musician, best known as the drummer, percussionist and co-producer for the alternative rock band Muse. He also contributes to the synthesized and electronic-based elements found in their music.
Howard was born in Stockport, Greater Manchester, in England. When he was around 8 years old he moved with his family to Teignmouth, a small town in Devon. He began playing drums at about the age of 12, when he was inspired by a jazz band performing at school.
Howard's first band was named Carnage Mayhem, which he was in at school. Meanwhile, he befriended Matt Bellamy, who played guitar but did not have a stable band. Not long after, Bellamy was offered the chance to join Howard's band. After two years of drop-outs, Bellamy suggested that they write their own songs, and only Howard and Bellamy remained. Chris Wolstenholme, who played drums in "Fixed Penalty", then entered the scene and with a great "spirit of sacrifice" he began to play bass.

Christopher Tony "Chris" Wolstenholme (born 2 December 1978) is an English musician and singer. He is the bassist and backing vocalist for the alternative rock band Muse. Wolstenholme also sometimes plays keyboard or guitar.
Chris Wolstenholme grew up in the English town of Rotherham before moving to Teignmouth, Devon. There he played drums for a post-punk band. His future bandmates Matthew Bellamy and Dominic Howard played in another band, Rocket Baby Dolls. The two bands rehearsed in the same building. Bellamy and Howard asked Wolstenholme to play bass in their band; he taught himself to play and the band was renamed Muse.
In 2011, readers of Gigwise voted Wolstenholme the best bassist of all time. His favourite album is Helmet's Aftertaste.
In 2003, when Muse sued Nestlé, he was the main reason behind it, being against the company that had a dubious reputation when it came to the promotion of powdered milk to new mothers in the third world. At the time, he had had his third child.
Muse are an English rock band from Teignmouth, Devon, formed in 1994. The band consists of Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Dominic Howard (drums, percussion).
Muse released their debut album, Showbiz, in 1999, showcasing an aggressive and melancholic style. Their second album, Origin of Symmetry (2001), expanded their sound, combining Bellamy's falsetto, heavier riffs, wider instrumentation, and romantic classical influences. It earned them mainstream European success and a reputation for energetic live performances. Their third album, Absolution (2003), saw further classical influences, incorporating orchestra on tracks such as "Butterflies and Hurricanes", and brought American success, producing hit singles including "Time is Running Out".
Muse's fourth album, Black Holes and Revelations (2006), incorporated electronic and pop elements, influenced by 80s groups such as Depeche Mode. The Resistance (2009) and The 2nd Law (2012) explore lyrical themes of government oppression and uprising and cemented Muse as one of the world's major stadium acts. Their seventh album, Drones (2015), is a concept album about drone warfare and returns to a harder rock sound.
Matthew James "Matt" Bellamy (born 9 June 1978) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. He is best known as the lead vocalist, lead guitarist, pianist, and principal songwriter of rock band Muse. As a performer, he is often recognised for his eccentric stage persona, wide tenor vocal range, and piano and guitar playing abilities.
Bellamy's father, George, from Sunderland was rhythm guitarist in the 1960s pop group The Tornados, who were the first British band to have a United States number one song, with "Telstar". "Knights of Cydonia", a single from Muse's fourth album Black Holes and Revelations, is often cited as a tribute to that song, with its space rock sound and accompanying video depicting a cowboy's quest through an alien landscape. Bellamy's mother, Marilyn, was born in Belfast, and moved to England in the 1970s. On her first day in England she met George, who was at the time working as a taxi driver in London. They later moved to Cambridge where Matthew's older brother Paul was born, followed a couple of years later by Matthew. In the mid-1980s, the family moved to Teignmouth, Devon. After the divorce of Bellamy's parents, he lived with his mother and brother. Bellamy started playing the piano at the age of 6 and guitar when he was 11. His first musical performance was in June 1991, aged 12, playing piano in front of his school at Teignmouth Community College.

There ain't a whole lot left to say now
You knocked all your wind out
You just tried too hard and you froze
I know, I know
What do ya say? What do ya say?
Just take the fall
You're one of us
The spotlight is on
(Ahh ahh)
Oh the spotlight is on, oh
You know the one thing you're fighting to hold
Will be the one thing you've got to let go
And when you feel the war cannot be won
You're gonna die to try what can't be done
You're gonna say, say out that you don't care
Now is there nothing like that inside of you anywhere?
Oh just take a fall
You're one of us
The spotlight is on
(Ahh ahh)
Oh the spotlight is on, yeah it's on
Because everyone would rather watch you fall
(We're all in trouble)
And we're all, yeah
(All in trouble)
And we're all
(All in trouble)
Just take a fall
You're one of us
The spotlight is on
(Ahh ahh)
Oh the spotlight is on
(Just take the fall)
Now you're one of us
Now you're, now you're, now you're, now you're one of us
Now you're, now you're, now you're one of us
Oh the spotlight is on
