For Game of Thrones fans licking their lips ahead of the upcoming fifth season, Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter from American hip-hop band the Roots' has provided an excellent recap in the form of a rap on Jimmy Fallon's late-night talk show.

It has been 10 months since the finale of season four, so Trotter though it would be appropriate on The Tonight Show to summarise the action-packed season of the HBO drama.

"Tariq, you're a big fan of Game of Thrones, right?" said Fallon, after being asked by a member of the audience for someone to give a rap recap.

Trotter then rapped his way through the plot of season four in just 60 seconds, starting with "King Joffrey was dead and gone," and ending with: "It's nothin' but drama, it's nothing but drama yeah."
