It encompasses approximately 18 miles of freeway from M-102 to south of M-59 and has a current daily traffic volume of 103,000 to 174,000. The freeway was built in the 1960s but has not received comprehensive corridor improvements since that time. Interstate 75
Interstate 75 (I-75) is a major Interstate Highway in the Great Lakes and Southeastern regions of the United States. As with most interstates that end in a five, it is a major cross-country, north-south route, one of the longest in the U.S., from southern Florida to the northern tip of Michigan. It travels from State Road 826 (Palmetto Expressway) and State Road 924 (Gratigny Parkway) on the Hialeah–Miami Lakes border (northwest of Miami, Florida) to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, at the Ontario border. Interstate 75 is the seventh longest interstate highway, the second longest north-south after Interstate 95, and passes through six different states: Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan.
Due to high traffic levels on the Interstate, much of the route is six lanes even in rural areas.

The I-75 rest areas south of US 6 in Wood County closed in late August when traffic on the I-75 project was switched to the inside lanes. Hiram Crabtree, Business Administrator: “Since we were going to be closing the travel information centers down because of the roadway construction, we thought it would be a good time to actually get a renovation project going so that while they’re closed down to the traveling public, we can get them renovated and opened back up with I-75.” Built over forty years ago, the buildings were last renovated in the mid 90’s. The I-75 rest areas south of US 6 in Wood County closed in late August when traffic on the I-75 project was switched to the inside lanes.
Hiram Crabtree, Business Administrator:
“Since we were going to be closing the travel information centers down because of the roadway construction, we thought it would be a good time to actually get a renovation project going so that while they’re closed down to the traveling public, we can get them renovated and opened back up with I-75.”
Built over forty years ago, the buildings were last renovated in the mid 90’s.
The 1.2 million dollar renovation to both the north and southbound I-75 rest areas will include renovating the bathrooms with new plumbing and fixtures, adding a family restroom and ADA capabilities.
Greg Strausbaugh, Facilities Administrator:
“The end result will be a more aesthetically pleasing structure for the traveling public to use when it’s needed. And we’re hoping to have a lower maintenance burden, and more energy efficient building shell.”
The renovated travel information centers are expected to open later this year.

There are many things to do in Da Lat. Here are some options for you in just one day. Of course you're going to stop for meals too, but I've omitted. Also note the rain showers and how that can affect your day. The first thing you should do is have breakfast at the Da Lat Market on the second level. A wide variety of noodle and rice dishes with drinks are available for order. Then, visit a strawberry farm to buy some gifts for friends. There's no need to visit any flower or plant stores unless you plan to buy some. There's not much to see. I do recommend visiting the mysterious spinning wooden table. It really does spin on its own when you say or think a direction. The crazy house is worth exploring for a few hours, unfortunately it was raining so hard and we didn't want to get the camera wet. The train station is a few minutes away and worth checking out if you like train stations. And lastly check out the Truc Lam Pagoda and ride the cable car. There's also a big lake nearby that might be worth checking out, unfortunately the rain made us lazy and so we just went back to the hotel and relaxed.

The video has post-production time compression (sped up) to expose/highlight traffic movement and patterns. The Downtown Connector is the convergence of interstates 75 & 85 over a 7-mile stretch running through the middle of the largest city in the southeastern United States. It's construction in the 1950s undermined Atlanta's organized street-grid, isolated (geographically and economically) several East Atlanta neighborhoods from the city's Downtown/Midtown cultural/economic centers, and made much east/west travel virtually impossible without an automobile (and delay). In recent years, various plans for burying the Connector (conversion to a tunnel system, such as Boston's) or erect elaborate networks of landscaped pedestrian bridges above it have been discussed, and it's likely such plans will be implemented in forthcoming decades. Presently, about 250,000 vehicles pass through the connector each day.

nterstate 75 runs roughly parallel to U.S. Route 25 for its entire length in Kentucky. The freeway enters Kentucky south of Williamsburg, bypassing Corbin, London, Berea, and Richmond, Kentucky. It is briefly concurrent with Interstate 64 along the north and east sides of Lexington, before leaving the Lexington area northerly and bypassing Georgetown. South of Florence, Kentucky, the route becomes concurrent with Interstate 71, and the two routes remain concurrent through to Cincinnati, Ohio. Once near Naples at County Road 951 (Exit 101), I-75 makes a sharp turn north resuming its south–north trajectory and gains a third lane each way as it parallels Florida's west coast. North of Ellenton, I-275 splits from I-75 to serve St. Petersburg and Pinellas County via the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and Tampa via the Howard Frankland Bridge. I-75 parallels the eastern shore of Tampa Bay as a bypass route of the Tampa Bay Area, as it passes by the communities of Brandon, Temple Terrace, and New Tampa. Two expressways access downtown Tampa from I-75: the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway (SR 618) and I-4. Within the Tampa Bay Metropolitan Area, many interchanges are far more complex than mere diamond, cloverleaf, or even SPUI interchanges.
