T is Tohoshinki's third Japanese studio album, released in January 2008 and debuting at #4 on the Oricon weekly charts. The album's biggest competition in sales was with Zard's "Zard Request Best: Beautiful Memory", the last album after its lead vocalist Izumi Sakai's death in 2007.
According to the members, the "T" stands for several things, such as "Tohoshinki", "Title", "Third" album, "Top" and "Try". It could also stand for "Trick/Trust" and the group's "Teamwork". A week before the album's release, the single " Purple Line" had debuted and reached #1 in Oricon weekly sales.
The management played a different strategy to promote the album by splitting the members into teams which travelled separately to different cities in Japan for a week and appeared on radio shows and TV programs.
The song Kissしたまま、さよなら was specially composed and written by members Micky Yoochun and Hero Jaejoong, included only in 2CD+2DVD version. The song Trick is a song that is a mix of 5 songs (released after the album), each dedicated to a separate member. The first letter in the following five singles spell out the name 'Trick'.

Alright!
Waiting your turn, Just to die
You wish that someone could be by your side
You're so afraid to be alone
You need my help so that you can be strong
And what will you miss
when death gives you a kiss
Live in a room with your solid walls
You can't get out although you call
Looking around and what you see
A thousand souls and there ready to scream
And what will you miss
when the death gives you a kiss
Such a strange moaning in the air
Can you feel the breeze through your hair
Rolling around across the ground
Hoping that soon you will be found yeah
And what will you miss
When the death gives you a kiss
Oh yeah!
The evil darkness that you can't see through
Turns you around makes a fool out of you
Looking behind you can you see the dawn
Wasted your chance and now your life is gone
Too Long Too Long Far Too Long
We've Sailed The Ship
This Ship Of Woe
It's Time To Pull Together
Pull Together
To Bring The Ship
This Ship Ashore
Dry Dry Dry Dry Your Years
Dry Your Years Arm Your Arm
Your Fears
In Laughter In Anger
For Better Or For Worse
Join Me When
The Adverse Wind Comes
Only These Chains
Do We Have Lose
Come My Friend Add Your Voice
To Voice To This
Too Long Too Long Far Too Long
As Your Anger Remained Bottled Up Inside
It's Your Time For The Cork Cork To Be Drawn

You paint it black, this fading world.
You tear it apart, I push it away.
The further I stray, the bigger the fright,
To ever wake up from these endless nights.
I'm wasting time, all these wasted times.
I'll doubt it'll sound the same next to me down here.
No matter how you choose to spit their words.
Face down, we're fucked, at the bottom of this wishing
well.
Face down.
Time, oh wasted times.
All these wasted times.
No open doors left for me and you,
Left to rot at the bottom of this wishing well.
Captivity of insecurity.
It's make-believe, and nothing worth.
You're make-believe, your nothing worth.
It would solve a lot of problems If death was enforced here It would put the shit up murderers, rapists and the queers If death was made the sentence Then sex crimes they may drop The pervert would be no more And that would be no loss
Chorus: Death row, death row Just four walls nowhere to go Waiting for the day that you meet your maker You're in a cell on death row
An alternative to prison at the rate-payers loss A noose around the neck or an electric shock What gives a man a right to live If he takes another's life? He's killed once, he'll kill again So lets end this bastard's life
Chorus
Standing in a court room the verdict it is death He killed an innocent person Put a cord around his neck It happens all the time on American city streets Murders, rapes and muggings Keep Britain free from this
