its a grate place to learn the vehicle because of the straight roads and no traffic .
MIHAN has a very strategic location, as it is located at the geometrical center of the country and is easily accessible by road, rail and air. This is the only multi product Special Economic Zone which is adjacent to an existing international airport. MIHAN SEZ has already become operational, and is spread over an area of more than 1382 Ha.
A number of leading IT Companies Like Infosys Nagpur, TCS Nagpur, WIPRO Nagpur, Tech Mahindra Nagpur and HCL Nagpur have taken land for their centres, while IT parks are being developed by large corporate like DLF and L&T; Nagpur . Companies like Hexaware BPS Nagpur, TAL Nagpur and Lupin Pharma (Trial Drug Formulation) Nagpur ,TCS Nagpur ,Tech Mahindra Nagpur , have already started exports from MIHAN SEZ whereas infosys Nagpur are going to start their operations very soon.
Even Nagpur metro is also started there construction at Nagpur.

The flagship project of Maharashtra Airport Development Co. Ltd., (MADC), MIHAN, Nagpur is very strategically located at the geometrical centre of the country and is easily accessible by road, rail and air. This is perhaps the only multi product SEZ which is adjacent to an existing international airport. The Multi-modal International Passenger & Cargo Hub Airport (MIHAN) project has an area of 4100 Ha., abutting to Nagpur airport comprises up gradation of existing airport. MADC is the Special Planning Authority for MIHAN notified area under the provision of MRTP Act. MADC is also developing 9 other airports in the State of Maharashtra.
MIHAN SEZ, which has already become operational, is spread over an area of more than 1382 Ha. and boasts off quality infrastructure like 6, 4 and 3 lane roads; telecom system using optic fibre cable; water supply - both potable and for other uses; storm water drainage; sewage etc. A power plant of 246 MW is ready for operations to supply power to units in MIHAN.
A number of leading IT Companies Like Infosys, TCS and Tech Mahindra have started their centres, while IT parks are being developed by large corporates like, Shapoorji Pallonji. Residential complexes are also being developed by developers like Mahindra Lifespaces and Moraj Infra on lands allotted by MADC next to the SEZ. Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) is constructing the Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) along with the rail terminal on 109 acres of land to connect MIHAN with different ports in the country. Companies like Hexaware BPS, TAL and Lupin Pharma have already started their production from MIHAN SEZ, whereas TCS and Air India-Boeing has recently started their operations. In the recent developments, Indian Institute of Management (IIM-N) is going to be to be set up on 142 acres land in Non-SEZ area of MIHAN along with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on 150 acres.

Make in India : Reliance plans to make Falcon parts in Mihan
Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG), which plans to enter defence production plans, will begin with a business jet instead.
It will first make nose cones for the Falcon 2000, the business jet made by France's Dassault, at Mihan SEZ. ADAG group company Reliance Aerostructure Ltd has been allotted 104 acres land at SEZ being developed by Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC).
Sources said there production of the nose cones would begin on an area of 1800 square metres in Mihan land by December this year. It would later be expanded by adding new hangars. There are plans to start manufacturing the entire Falcon 2000 in 2-5 years, said a source closely involved with the development. Sources said this was too short a duration in terms of size of the plans.

"Constructing runway involves a major investment and MADC being a government company cannot go-ahead with the work without any concrete development on ADAG's side," said a source. Sources in Reliance said the first batch of professionals to be trained in the technology for Falcon 2000 will be reaching France in a month. This will be followed by other batches soon.
After Dassault signed a deal to sell 36 Rafale aircraft for Indian Air Force, the French company has entered into a joint venture with ADAG to execute the offsets arising out of the deal. Projects under the offset deal would begin with making components for the aircraft. A majority of work will be undertaken at Mihan site covering an area of 64 acres.
Reliance was allotted 289 acres in 2015 when it announced a Rs6500 crore Dhirubhai Ambani Aerospace Park at Mihan. The requirement was later reduced to 104 acres for which a payment of Rs38 crore is due.
This was touted as the biggest investment in Mihan until Patanjali's food park for which land has been given both within and outside the SEZ.

Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur
The Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN) is an airport project for Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur. It is the biggest economical development project currently underway in India in terms of investments. The project aims to exploit the central location of Nagpur and convert the present airport into a major cargo hub with integrated road and rail connectivity.
This Project consists of two parts, namely
The Government of Maharashtra formed a special purpose entity in the name of Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) for development of MIHAN. The project is financed by multiple Indian banks with total loan amount of INR 3,000 million along with investment from state government and Airports Authority of India. With a projected target of serving 14 million passengers and handle 0.87 million tones of cargo this is one of largest aviation project in India. The estimated capital cost of the project is INR 2581 crores (by year 2035) and is supposed to generate revenues INR 5280 crores.

The Multi-modal International Passenger & Cargo Hub Airport (MIHAN) project has an area of 4100 Ha., abutting to Nagpur airport comprises up gradation of existing airport. MADC is the Special Planning Authority for MIHAN notified area under the provision of MRTP Act. MADC is also developing 9 other airports in the State of Maharashtra.
MIHAN SEZ, which has already become operational, is spread over an area of more than 1382 Ha. and boasts off quality infrastructure like 6, 4 and 3 lane roads; telecom system using optic fibre cable; water supply - both potable and for other uses; storm water drainage; sewage etc. A power plant of 246 MW is ready for operations to supply power to units in MIHAN.

Sources said this was too short a duration in terms of size of the plans.
Despite having ambitious plans, ADAG is yet to clear Rs38 crore dues towards SEZ's land cost. The final lease agreement for the land will not be signed by MADC until the dues are cleared. Reliance wants MADC to first construct an over 1km runway connecting the existing runway with its land. MADC is insisting Reliance should reach at least half way on its project so it gets some assurance that it was serious.

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG), which plans to enter defence production plans, will begin with a business jet instead.
It will first make nose cones for the Falcon 2000, the business jet made by France's Dassault, at Mihan SEZ. ADAG group company Reliance Aerostructure Ltd has been allotted 104 acres land at SEZ being developed by Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC).
Sources said there production of the nose cones would begin on an area of 1800 square metres in Mihan land by December this year. It would later be expanded by adding new hangars. There are plans to start manufacturing the entire Falcon 2000 in 2-5 years, said a source closely involved with the development. Sources said this was too short a duration in terms of size of the plans.
Despite having ambitious plans, ADAG is yet to clear Rs38 crore dues towards SEZ's land cost. The final lease agreement for the land will not be signed by MADC until the dues are cleared. Reliance wants MADC to first construct an over 1km runway connecting the existing runway with its land. "Constructing runway involves a major investment and MADC being a government company cannot go-ahead with the work without any concrete development on ADAG's side," said a source. Sources in Reliance said the first batch of professionals to be trained in the technology for Falcon 2000 will be reaching France in a month. This will be followed by other batches soon.
After Dassault signed a deal to sell 36 Rafale aircraft for Indian Air Force, the French company has entered into a joint venture with ADAG to execute the offsets arising out of the deal. Projects under the offset deal would begin with making components for the aircraft. A majority of work will be undertaken at Mihan site covering an area of 64 acres.
Reliance was allotted 289 acres in 2015 when it announced a Rs6500 crore Dhirubhai Ambani Aerospace Park at Mihan. The requirement was later reduced to 104 acres for which a payment of Rs38 crore is due.
This was touted as the biggest investment in Mihan until Patanjali's food park for which land has been given both within and outside the SEZ.
