There were three steps to this plan: finding
Blaze Powder, finding Ender
Eyes, and locating an ancient elven stronghold. The first was easy enough. When he had set out for supplies to create the End
Crystal, Dateki had come across several fortresses in the
Nether, each home to the flying fiery menace called Blazes.
Returning to the dark realm with three quivers worth of arrows, Dateki ventured across the blighted landscape to reach his destination. Using some unorthodox techniques, Dateki lured a dozen Blazes into open combat and, using his skills with the bow, slew them for their Blaze Rode, which could then be crushed into powder.
The next task was much more difficult as it required Dateki to track down and slay a dozen Endermen. These elusive and mysterious beings could vanish without a trace, and could make for fearsome enemies if provoked. Though Dateki would try as hard as he could, the other monsters of the forest proved too distracting to allow Dateki a proper hunt.
Matters were only made worse when a storm rolled in, as Endermen despised water.
Giving up on his search, Dateki returned to town, and the local warlock was able to provide a few Ender Eyes he had in reserve in case on emergency. No one thought it would be enough to find a stronghold, but they didn'
t anticipate how close one was.
When Dateki began his hunt for the stronghold, the Eyes of Ender he had made pointed him north into the marsh, towards the portal that would lead to their master. Only an hour passed before the eyes ceased to work, and Dateki-- sectioning off the swampland they had led to-- began to dip down. He only dug about fifteen feet before he found it: the abandoned ruin of a long forgotten civilization, infested with silverfish and lost knowledge. Lighting the ruin up with a few torches, Dateki took in the humble brilliance of the structure. It didn't take long for the adventurer to find what he was looking for: in a large oval room sat a great ring surrounded by fire. Each section of the ring had a small spherical slot for something. Dateki knew and he casually placed his remaining Eyes of Ender into them. They fit like they had been made for that purpose alone.
"Only nine more to go," Dateki smirked as he left the room. Though the portal was not active, it had officially begun: the beginning of the end. In another plane, the eldritch creature watched Dateki and waited for the adventurer's challenge.
About
Minecraft
Minecraft is an open-world sandbox indie game created by
Markus "Notch" Persson and, later on, developed and published by Mojang. The game features a procedurally generated world where players can build, explore, and survive to their hearts' content. Minecraft is best known for the freedom it grants its players, as its expansive worlds and features allow players to explore their creativity in ways no other game has offered before!
Minecraft Gameplay
At its core, Minecraft is a survival game: the player starts out in a random area in a massive randomly generated world and must craft tools, build shelter, and find food to survive.
Moving beyond this gameplay, players quickly discover how open and versatile the world is: almost everything can be used to build and there are virtually no limits on where the player can go and do. From making simple wooden houses to creating animated constructs, Minecraft allows players to fully explore their own creative potential.
In addition to its normal gameplay, Minecraft allows features different game modes-- such as creative mode, where players don't have to worry about surviving and have access to every material in the game-- and possesses an active and thriving mod community!
With version 1.9, Minecraft has received several major upgrades, namely to its combat system. Attacks now have to be properly timed to be effective and players have become capable of dual-wielding items.
Various new items have been added from shields to gliders, and
The End has been expanded into a full world with its own architecture and enemies, such as the Shulker!
