Hello welcome to my new video! In this video multiplatinum record producer/mixer/engineer Skip Saylor will be talking about his career in the music business. He will tell stories from working with Frank Sinatra, Snoop Dogg and making Use your illusion by Guns and Roses. Skip will take you through his music journey, starting from moving to California and working at Ocean Way studios, setting up microphones for Sinatra and recording Gangsta Rap. You will hear behind the science stories about Guns and Roses and Snoop Dog, will learn a lot about recording gear and about how the music industry use to work and what changes it is going through. Skip is one of a few people in the music industry who went through all the changes in the music business.
