En esta plática, hablo de la diferencia entre pasión y talento proponiendo que la idea de poder lograrlo todo es utópica, no es absolutamente real: hay personas que no tienen la capacidad de conseguir lo mismo que Stephen Hawking, que Yuri o que Usain Bolt, porque, además del interés y la perseverancia en la lucha, hace falta tener talento, aptitud e inteligencia especial. De los talentos de cada quien despunta la diferencia entre el éxito convencional y el éxito personal.
Busco romper la burbuja del pensamiento mágico que nos enseña que debemos tener una vida perfecta y que tenemos que ser el número 1 y ser felices todo el tiempo. Busco romper la burbuja del pensamiento ultra positivo absurdo que exige “no llores”, “no te enojes”, defendiendo que así como el hambre se quita comiendo y el sueño se quita durmiendo, el dolor se quita llorando. Sostengo que la vida no es perfecta pero que no tiene que ser perfecta para ser maravillosa.

Odin is the most enigmatic God in the entire pantheon of our ancient Northern European mythos. There is a great deal of lore that talks about Odin and his many acts both among the gods and among mankind, yet there are very few inscriptions directly of his name as people feared the dreaded God of war and death.
We hear today so many stories about Odin in his role as "All Father" but Odin also had a very negative and dark side as he was also the God of war (there were others that held that title as well), the God of poetry, the God of sorcery, the God of death! In some of the sagas that we read we see how Odin was not always "honorable" in his deeds, as he committed some of the highest moral crimes against the northern code of ethics. He was a kin slayer! He was an oath breaker! These just to name some. The God Loki accused Odin in one of the sagas of granting victory in war at various times to the side that was unworthy, so that the great heroes of the side that was worthy would be slain and join his army in Valhalla. There are times in the stories where he would turn on his chosen heroes and fight against and even himself. This of course, is all on the negative side of things. There are many positive things as well that can only be seen when looking at the big picture that is going on not only in this world but in all the 9 worlds. On the surface things look very uncertain when the question is asked "Is it wise to trust Odin?” This also brings into question esoteric Runology because of course, he is the God credited with winning the Runes. This is why at this point we believe that it is vitally important to have a fuller understanding (hopefully) of Odin, who he is and why he does what he does. This is a longer episode than usual, but it is one that you will definitely want to share and to download so that you can listen to it again and again. Also, we hope it inspires you to read the lore for yourself because one of the goals that we have in all of this is to help all of you to be able to open any book of lore in the Northern Tradition and be able to comprehend the subtle layers that are within the prose and stanzas. One of the most important skills any Asatruar can have is the skill of thinking for oneself and coming to one's own conclusions. We hope that this series on the runes and on other subjects help everyone to do that in an ever increasing way.

What is a MOBA?
Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas, or MOBAs for short, originated as a sub-genre of the RTS (Real-Time Strategy) genre. Because of this, in most MOBA games, the player takes control of a single character from the isometric (top-down) view akin to most RTS games. Typically, in MOBA games, a player takes control of a single character on one of two teams. Those players choose characters that all have their own abilities, or “kits”. To win, the players must use a combination of abilities, teamwork, and strategy to not only best their opponent, but destroy the opponents main structures. A bonus to the genre is that most MOBAs are free games, which is definitely a contributing factor of the their massive success. The genre has many titles, the largest of which being Defense of the Ancients (DoTA) and DoTA 2, League of Legends (LoL), and most recently SMITE!
What is SMITE?
SMITE is one of the more recent free MOBA games to enter the fray. In SMITE you don’t just choose a character, you choose a god. You’ll instantly feel an attachment to characters like Thor and Zeus because even if you don’t know the lore behind them, you’ve at least heard their names before! What makes SMITE so immersive is Hi-Rez Studios’ inclusion of historical lore into the gods’ abilities, kits, and play styles. Thor and Loki aren’t just characters from Marvel comics and movies. They’re also a part of Norse mythology and you can take control of them in SMITE!
What makes SMITE different?
SMITE takes all of the strategy of the top MOBA games and adds another layer of difficulty by putting you into the action! Unlike most MOBA games, SMITE offers players the chance to experience the MOBA genre they know and love from a third-person perspective. Odin (

Odin is the most enigmatic God in the entire pantheon of our ancient Northern European mythos. There is a great deal of lore that talks about Odin and his many acts both among the gods and among mankind, yet there are very few inscriptions directly of his name as people feared the dreaded God of war and death. En esta plática, hablo de la diferencia entre pasión y talento proponiendo que la idea de poder lograrlo todo es utópica, no es absolutamente real: hay personas que no tienen la capacidad de conseguir lo mismo que Stephen Hawking, que Yuri o que Usain Bolt, porque, además del interés y la perseverancia en la lucha, hace falta tener talento, aptitud e inteligencia especial. De los talentos de cada quien despunta la diferencia entre el éxito convencional y el éxito personal.
Busco romper la burbuja del pensamiento mágico que nos enseña que debemos tener una vida perfecta y que tenemos que ser el número 1 y ser felices todo el tiempo. Busco romper la burbuja del pensamiento ultra positivo absurdo que exige “no llores”, “no te enojes”, defendiendo que así como el hambre se quita comiendo y el sueño se quita durmiendo, el dolor se quita llorando. Sostengo que la vida no es perfecta pero que no tiene que ser perfecta para ser maravillosa.

Odin is the most enigmatic God in the entire pantheon of our ancient Northern European mythos. There is a great deal of lore that talks about Odin and his many acts both among the gods and among mankind, yet there are very few inscriptions directly of his name as people feared the dreaded God of war and death.
We hear today so many stories about Odin in his role as "All Father" but Odin also had a very negative and dark side as he was also the God of war (there were others that held that title as well), the God of poetry, the God of sorcery, the God of death! In some of the sagas that we read we see how Odin was not always "honorable" in his deeds, as he committed some of the highest moral crimes against the northern code of ethics. He was a kin slayer! He was an oath breaker! These just to name some. The God Loki accused Odin in one of the sagas of granting victory in war at various times to the side that was unworthy, so that the great heroes of the side that was worthy would be slain and join his army in Valhalla. There are times in the stories where he would turn on his chosen heroes and fight against and even himself. This of course, is all on the negative side of things. There are many positive things as well that can only be seen when looking at the big picture that is going on not only in this world but in all the 9 worlds. On the surface things look very uncertain when the question is asked "Is it wise to trust Odin?” This also brings into question esoteric Runology because of course, he is the God credited with winning the Runes. This is why at this point we believe that it is vitally important to have a fuller understanding (hopefully) of Odin, who he is and why he does what he does. This is a longer episode than usual, but it is one that you will definitely want to share and to download so that you can listen to it again and again. Also, we hope it inspires you to read the lore for yourself because one of the goals that we have in all of this is to help all of you to be able to open any book of lore in the Northern Tradition and be able to comprehend the subtle layers that are within the prose and stanzas. One of the most important skills any Asatruar can have is the skill of thinking for oneself and coming to one's own conclusions. We hope that this series on the runes and on other subjects help everyone to do that in an ever increasing way.

What is a MOBA?
Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas, or MOBAs for short, originated as a sub-genre of the RTS (Real-Time Strategy) genre. Because of this, in most MOBA games, the player takes control of a single character from the isometric (top-down) view akin to most RTS games. Typically, in MOBA games, a player takes control of a single character on one of two teams. Those players choose characters that all have their own abilities, or “kits”. To win, the players must use a combination of abilities, teamwork, and strategy to not only best their opponent, but destroy the opponents main structures. A bonus to the genre is that most MOBAs are free games, which is definitely a contributing factor of the their massive success. The genre has many titles, the largest of which being Defense of the Ancients (DoTA) and DoTA 2, League of Legends (LoL), and most recently SMITE!
What is SMITE?
SMITE is one of the more recent free MOBA games to enter the fray. In SMITE you don’t just choose a character, you choose a god. You’ll instantly feel an attachment to characters like Thor and Zeus because even if you don’t know the lore behind them, you’ve at least heard their names before! What makes SMITE so immersive is Hi-Rez Studios’ inclusion of historical lore into the gods’ abilities, kits, and play styles. Thor and Loki aren’t just characters from Marvel comics and movies. They’re also a part of Norse mythology and you can take control of them in SMITE!

SMITE takes all of the strategy of the top MOBA games and adds another layer of difficulty by putting you into the action! Unlike most MOBA games, SMITE offers players the chance to experience the MOBA genre they know and love from a third-person perspective. The cannibal galaxy was found in the Fornax cluster, which contains a menagerie of galaxies of a variety of shapes and sizes ...
