Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. She made her recording debut in 1990 under the guidance of Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola, and released her self-titled debut studio album, Mariah Carey. The album went multi-platinum and spawned four consecutive number one singles, on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Following her marriage to Mottola in 1993, a series of hit records, including Emotions (1991), Music Box (1993) and Merry Christmas (1994), established her position as Columbia's highest-selling act. Daydream (1995), made music history when the second single, "One Sweet Day" a duet with Boyz II Men, spent a record sixteen weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, and remains the longest running number one song in US chart history. During the recording of the album Carey began to deviate from her pop background, and slowly traversed into R&B and Hip-hop. After her separation from Mottola, this musical change was evident with the release of Butterfly (1997).

Ice cubes are small, roughly cube-shaped pieces of ice, conventionally used to cool beverages. Ice cubes are sometimes preferred over crushed ice because they melt more slowly; they are standard in mixed drinks that call for ice, in which case the drink is said to be "on the rocks."

Ice cubes that are crushed or sheared into irregularly-shaped flakes may add an interesting aesthetic effect to some cocktails. Crushed ice is also used when faster cooling is desired, since the rate of cooling is governed by the number and average radius of the ice particles.

Melting ice cubes sometimes precipitate white flakes, commonly known as "floaties". This is calcium carbonate which is present in many water supplies and is completely harmless.^{[citation needed]}

American physician and humanitarian John Gorrie built a refrigerator in 1844 with the purpose of cooling air. His refrigerator produced ice which he hung from the ceiling in a basin. Gorrie can be considered the creator of ice cubes, but his aim was not to cool drinks: he used the ice to lower the ambient room temperature. During his time, a dominant idea was that bad air quality caused disease. Therefore, in order to help treat sickness, he pushed for the draining of swamps and the cooling of sickrooms.

Dustin Miller (born may 2, 1977), best known by his stage name D-Loc, is an MC in the rap rock group Kottonmouth Kings. The group is signed to Suburban Noize. Miller has been a part of the Kottonmouth Kings since they were the P town Ballers (PTB) in 1994. Miller is also known by the stage names DJ Shakey Bonez, and D-Double Dash.

Miller grew up in Placentia, California with fellow Kottonmouth Kings member and best friend Johnny Richter and former Kottonmouth Kings member Steven Thronson (better known by his stage name Saint Dog or Saint Vicious). D-Loc and Johnny Richter, in addition to being with Kottonmouth Kings, also make up the rap duo Kingspade.

D-Loc and the KMK have released 15 studio albums, as well as many other releases such as the hidden stash series, Joint Venture, Kottonmouth Xperience vol 1 and 2, classic hits live, Greatest Highs, and the Double Dose series. With Kottonmouth kings and Kingspade D-Loc has had over 22 album releases.

D-Loc's first solo album "Made For Kings" came out in 2010. And, after rocking the SRH spade for 15 years D-Loc has since started his own clothing company, Hostility Clothingwith fellow friend Ryan Humphreys from Western Australia . In April 2011, D Loc started hosting his own segment "D-Loc Days" on a Seattle area radio show titled The Hidden Stash. In January 2012, D-Loc started his own Youtube channel entitled D-LocTV.
