Park Avenue is a wide New York City boulevard which carries north and southbound traffic in the borough of Manhattan, and is also a wide one-way pair in the Bronx. For most of the road's length in Manhattan, it runs parallel to Madison Avenue to the west and Lexington Avenue to the east. Park Avenue's entire length was formerly called Fourth Avenue; the title still applies below 14th Street. Meanwhile, the section between 14th and 17th Street is called Union Square East, and between 17th and 32nd Streets, the name Park Avenue South is used. In the Bronx, Park Avenue runs in several segments between the Major Deegan Expressway and Fordham Road.
Park Avenue was originally known as Fourth Avenue and carried the tracks of the New York and Harlem Railroad starting in the 1830s. The railroad originally ran through an open cut through Murray Hill, which was covered with grates and grass between 34th and 40th Street in the early 1850s. A section of this "park" was later renamed Park Avenue in 1860, which was afterwards applied to the area leading up to 42nd Street. When Grand Central Depot was opened in the 1870s, the railroad tracks between 56th and 93rd Streets were sunk out of sight and, in 1888, Park Avenue was extended to north of Grand Central.
Park Ave. was an indie pop band which started in January 1996 in Omaha, Nebraska.
The band lasted only two and a half years, but still retains a substantial fanbase. During their short time together, Park Ave. (named after an actual street in their hometown of Omaha, Nebraska) received rave reviews for their brand of indie pop music. The band was born out of members' desire to write pop, almost bubblegum pop, music.
Strangely, none of the members could play their respective musical instruments prior to forming the band. Conor Oberst had been playing guitar since a very young age, yet played drums in the band. Clark Baechle had played drums previously, but played guitar for Park Ave. Park Ave. performed about 10-15 times during its existence. When Jamie moved to London to work in art, the band broke up, hence the name of their 1999 album. Before she went to London they recorded some songs on 4-track to have for themselves, these recordings eventually became their first and only album. However, Jamie returned and she and Jenkins reunited in Tilly and the Wall, which also includes Nick White, Kianna Alarid, and Derek Pressnall. Conor Oberst now has a successful career as Bright Eyes with work in Desaparecidos, Mystic Valley Band as well as Monsters of Folk while Clark Baechle is the drummer of The Faint.
A park is an area of natural, semi-natural, or planted space set aside for human enjoyment and recreation or for the protection of wildlife or natural habitats. It may consist of grassy areas, rocks, soil, and trees, but may also contain buildings and other artifacts such as monuments, fountains or playground structures. In North America, many parks have fields for playing sports such as soccer, baseball and football, and paved areas for games such as basketball. Many parks have trails for walking, biking and other activities. Some parks are built adjacent to bodies of water or watercourses, and these parks may comprise a beach or boat dock area. Often, the smallest parks are in urban areas, where a park may take up only a city block or less. Urban parks often have benches for sitting and they may contain picnic tables and barbecue grills. Parks have differing rules regarding whether dogs can be brought into the park: some parks prohibit dogs; some parks allow them with restrictions (e.g., use of a leash); and some parks, which may be called "dog parks," permit dogs to run off-leash.

This is an extended OST version of Park Avenue from Sonic Forces when you are playing as your custom character. This extension includes the entire song (or at least all that was provided by the official Sonic channel); it was quite the challenge to eliminate the fading out of the song. Maybe I should actually subscribe to the official Sonic YouTube channel to get notified of these things ASAP. Disclaimer: All music and images belong to their respective owners. Vacation travel video about destination New York City in New York. New York continues to be one of the world’s most famous cities, a true world metropolis and major symbol of the American Dream. Manhattan Island is the city’s most well known district and the Rockefeller Center in Midtown is often referred to as the heart of the New York. Nearby the Roman Catholic Saint Patrick´s Cathedral is the largest and most magnificent church in the United States. The Grand Central Terminal divides Park Avenue and is a huge station with which the railroad kings, the Venderbilts, left an indelible mark. The huge hall, with its magnificent vaulted ceiling in Beaux Arts style, has been the city’s central railway station for twelve lines since 1913. The confines of Chinatown are inhabited by a hundred a...
This is some video of the famed Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. I shot it at three different times: before its recent renovation, during the renovation and during the Christmas season while renovations were in progress. The main entrance is on Park Avenue and there's another entrance on Lexington Ave, one block to the East. Our recent week in New York City was an action-packed one. We decided to set ourselves a challenge to see and do as much as we possibly could, and that gave way to this travel video guide which highlights 50 of the top attractions. In a city like New York this means we barely scratched the surface, but hopefully this video will highlight the cornucopia of possibilities that is the Big Apple. https://www.expedia.com/Budapest.d179994.Destination-Travel-Guides The Hungarian capital, Budapest, is situated on the banks of the Danube in Central Europe. It’s the political, economic and cultural heart of the nation, and one of the most beautiful and livable cities on the continent. For a sweeping overview of the city head to the Buda side of the Danube and take in the views from the 19th century ramparts on Gellért Hill. Just upriver is Budapest’s oldest area, The Castle District, home to Buda Castle, Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion. Once you’ve explored the heights of Castle Hill, cross the Széchenyi Chain Bridge to the Pest side of the city and follow the riverbank upstream to Hungary’s Parliament Building. Nearby, pay your respects at the Shoes on the Danube Memorial,...

If you're wondering what to see in New York City, the possibilities are endless. If you want to do a little sightseeing in NYC, you might find it interesting to tour the land of the rich and famous (mostly rich). That's historic Park Avenue, one of the most famous streets in the world. Park Avenue is probably home to more millionaires and billionaires than any other single thoroughfare in the world. I shot this video during various walks along Park Avenue. I live nearby, and it's one of my favorite places to visit in the spring. There are hundreds of flower displays in flower boxes on the sidewalks and in the wide media strip that separate northbound from southbound. Art sculptures are often placed in the median also. North of 60th St., going north and south, Park Avenue is just two bl...
Disney World may be the happiest place on earth, but Orlando, Florida, has a lot more to offer than just theme parks. If you want to get off the tourist track a bit, here are five sights you don't want to miss. 5. Lake Eola. This beautiful park is right in the heart of downtown, and it's the perfect place for a stroll or a paddleboat ride. 4. Mall at Millennia. Upscale shopping in the city's prettiest mall--spend a fortune or just enjoy the window shopping. 3. Canaveral National Seashore. An easy day trip from Orlando, this park is home to pristine beaches (the longest stretch of undeveloped coastline in the state of Florida), wildlife, nature trails, and lagoons. You can even glimpse space-related sights, including the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building). Note: the very northernmost beach ...

She sits and stares into her mixed drink
Telling everyone she's right, well, she's right
I've tried enough on getting over this
Just to end up in this room with the two of you
But you tell me that your phone don't ring enough
And you say she's just the one who picks you up from work
Because I'm not around
Well, I've tried to save this from your sick complainant
Well, I lied, but it was just to save us both
And I tried to name this like it makes a difference to what's true
But that doesn't matter now
And I made a promise to not hate you for this
Well, I lied and I can't cover that up
She walks back into the hallway, searches through a crowded room
Needs a way out of here and I made my mind up not to notice
So I sat back down on the couch, pretended not to care, I didn't care
But I see her as she moves to the front door
And I guess I couldn't stand it any more
She was gone before I could stop her
And I tried to save this from your sick complainant
And I lied, but that was just to save us both
And I crave the moment when there is no resistance in your eyes
And your heart is open wide
And I lack conviction with these drunk decisions
I don't try, and I'm left confused, alone
But I want to be and remember how to see things
