Am 23.11.2014 veranstaltete IranAir einen Sightseeing Flug mit der 747SP über Teheran. Dieser war ursprünglich als Abschiedsflug geplant. Allerdings fliegt die Boeing 747SP mit der Reg. EP-IAC nach einem erneuten C-Check weiterhin im Linienbetrieb als letzte 747SP der Welt im Passagierverkehr. Diese Entscheidung traf IranAir erst einige Tage zuvor.
Die Aufnahmen im Video wurden alle im Rahmen des eigentlichen „Abschiedsfluges“ gefilmt.
Alle meine Videos sind mit dem Windows MovieMaker geschnitten.
On 11.23.2014 IranAir arrange a sightseeing flight with the 747SP about Tehran. This was originally planned as a farewell flight. However, the Boeing 747SP (with the Reg. EP-IAC) flying after a new C-check still in regular service as the last 747SP in the world in passenger traffic. This decision was taken by IranAir some days before the flight.
The videos in the movie were all filmed by the “farewell flight”.

In this over 2 hour long cockpit DVD you will follow Captain Rahimian on a return trip from Tehran to Bandar Abbass in southern Iran. The crew will show you the Boeing 727 in the best way. Just a few months after this unique video was taken, the Boeing 747-100 retired from the world's skies forever. In 2013 this Iran Air unit was the last flying Boeing 747-100, a -100B series to be exact. At that time the crew told me that it was probably continuing to fly for another two years, but less than half a year later game was over. In the clip you can see that a Boeing 747-200 checklist was used and frequent questions were asked. The reason is, that the checklists are the same and thus there was no need to print an extra "-100" one. You can see that the rear part of the passenger cabin was dark and empty on this flight. The reason is that that day this aircraft replaced the scheduled B747SP with the same (smaller) SP crew aboard. In order to make the smaller crew fit the bigger aircraft's needs, the rear cabin was "closed".

Some early −100s were retrofitted with the new configuration. The −100 was equipped with Pratt & Whitney JT9D-3A engines. No freighter version of this model was developed, but many 747-100s were converted into freighters. A total of 167 747-100s were built. Iran Air was the last airline to use the 747-100 for passenger service.

The fleet consisted of Douglas DC-3s initially, supplemented by Douglas DC-4 and Vickers Viscount aircraft, later on. In 1954, the privately owned airline Persian Air Services (PAS) was established, which initially operated only freight services, followed by passenger operations between Tehran and other major cities in Iran. In 1960, PAS initiated service to several European destinations, including Geneva, Paris, Brussels and London, using Douglas DC-7C aircraft, leased from Sabena.

Iran Air - The Airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Persian: هواپیمائی جمهوری اسلامی ایران Havapeyma'i-ye Jomhuri-ye Eslāmi-ye Irān) is the flag carrier airline of Iran, operating services to 80 destinations. The airline's cargo fleet, operated by subsidiary Iran Air Cargo, operates services to 20 scheduled and 5 charter destinations. Its main bases are the Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport for international flights and Tehran Mehrabad Airport for domestic flights. It is headquartered on the grounds of Mehrabad Airport in Tehran. Iran Air is also referred to by its Persian acronym, Homa (Persian: هما), which is derived from two sources: the initial letters of Iran Air's pre-Revolutionary Persian name, Havapeyma'i-ye Melli-ye Iran (Persian: هواپیمایی ملی ایران); and from Homa, a griffin of Persian mythology. The first 747-100s were built with six upper deck windows (three per side) to accommodate upstairs lounge areas. Later, as airlines began to use the upper deck for premium passenger seating instead of lounge space, Boeing offered a ten-window upper deck as an option. Some early −100s were retrofitted with the new configuration. The −100 was equipped with Pratt & Whitney JT9D-3A engines. No freighter version of this model was developed, but many 747-100s were converted into freighters. A total of 167 747-100s were built. Iran Air was the last airline to use the 747-100 for passenger service. -

Video courtesy: http://www.youtube.com/farhadswiss The captain of an Iran Air Boeing 727 has managed to land his aircraft at Tehran's Mehrabad airport even though its nose landing gear failed to unfold. Captain Hooshang Shahbazi's piloting skill saved the lives of some 94 passengers and 19 crew members. Footage of the miraculous landing on October 18 became an internet sensation and Shahbazi's Facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/shahbazi200 ) has attracted hundreds of new friends. The flight IR-742 from Moscow, Sheremetyevo was on approach to Tehran's Imam Khomeini Airport around when the crew did not receive a down and locked indication for the nose gear and aborted the approach. Following unsuccessful troubleshooting the crew decided to divert to Tehran's Mehrabad Airport where a low approach confirmed the nose gear was not extended. The crew subsequently performed a landing without the nose gear and came to a stand still on both main gear and the nose of the aircraft. The aircraft was evacuated, no injuries occurred. Am 23.11.2014 veranstaltete IranAir einen Sightseeing Flug mit der 747SP über Teheran. Dieser war ursprünglich als Abschiedsflug geplant. Allerdings fliegt die Boeing 747SP mit der Reg. EP-IAC nach einem erneuten C-Check weiterhin im Linienbetrieb als letzte 747SP der Welt im Passagierverkehr. Diese Entscheidung traf IranAir erst einige Tage zuvor. Die Aufnahmen im Video wurden alle im Rahmen des eigentlichen „Abschiedsfluges“ gefilmt. Alle meine Videos sind mit dem Windows MovieMaker geschnitten. Iran Air Boeing 747-100 (WORLD'S LAST): Cockpit-landing, all cabins [AirClips full flight series]
Just a few months after this unique video was taken, the Boeing 747-100 retired from the world's skies forever. In 2013 this Iran Air unit was the last flying Boeing 747-100, a -100B series to be exact. At that time the crew told me that it was probably continuing to fly for another two years, but less than half a year later game was over. In the clip you can see that a Boeing 747-200 checklist was used and frequent questions were asked. The reason is, that the checklists are the same and thus there was no need to print an extra "-100" one. You can see that the rear part of the passenger cabin was dark and empty on this flight. Am 23.11.2014 veranstaltete IranAir einen Sightseeing Flug mit der 747SP über Teheran. Dieser war ursprünglich als Abschiedsflug geplant. Allerdings fliegt die Boeing 747SP mit der Reg. EP-IAC nach einem erneuten C-Check weiterhin im Linienbetrieb als letzte 747SP der Welt im Passagierverkehr. Diese Entscheidung traf IranAir erst einige Tage zuvor.
Die Aufnahmen im Video wurden alle im Rahmen des eigentlichen „Abschiedsfluges“ gefilmt.
Alle meine Videos sind mit dem Windows MovieMaker geschnitten.
On 11.23.2014 IranAir arrange a sightseeing flight with the 747SP about Tehran. This was originally planned as a farewell flight. However, the Boeing 747SP (with the Reg. EP-IAC) flying after a new C-check still in regular service as the last 747SP in the world in passenger traffic. This decision was taken by IranAir some days before the flight.
The videos in the movie were all filmed by the “farewell flight”.

Just a few months after this unique video was taken, the Boeing 747-100 retired from the world's skies forever. In 2013 this Iran Air unit was the last flying Boeing 747-100, a -100B series to be exact. At that time the crew told me that it was probably continuing to fly for another two years, but less than half a year later game was over. In the clip you can see that a Boeing 747-200 checklist was used and frequent questions were asked. The reason is, that the checklists are the same and thus there was no need to print an extra "-100" one. You can see that the rear part of the passenger cabin was dark and empty on this flight. The reason is that that day this aircraft replaced the scheduled B747SP with the same (smaller) SP crew aboard. In order to make the smaller crew fit the bigger aircraft's needs, the rear cabin was "closed".

Just a few months after this unique video was taken, the Boeing 747-100 retired from the world's skies forever. In 2013 this Iran Air unit was the last flying Boeing 747-100, a -100B series to be exact. At that time the crew told me that it was probably continuing to fly for another two years, but less than half a year later game was over. In the clip you can see that a Boeing 747-200 checklist was used and frequent questions were asked. The reason is, that the checklists are the same and thus there was no need to print an extra "-100" one. You can see that the rear part of the passenger cabin was dark and empty on this flight. The reason is that that day this aircraft replaced the scheduled B747SP with the same (smaller) SP crew aboard. In order to make the smaller crew fit the bigger aircraft's needs, the rear cabin was "closed".

The captain of an Iran Air Boeing 727 has managed to land his aircraft at Tehran's Mehrabad airport even though its nose landing gear failed to unfold. Captain Hooshang Shahbazi's piloting skill saved the lives of some 94 passengers and 19 crew members. In this underground center Iran's air space is monitors using all Iran's Active and Passive radars and they control all defense systems. All data from radars across the country collect and analyze using Iran's air defense secure network and air defense systems.
Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili سرتيپ فرزاد اسماعيلي says the country’s air defense range will be expanded from 3'600 spots to 5'000 in the near future.
He says, we was tracking Israel made Hermes drone about 41 minutes, we waited and tracked the drone to make sure it's out of international passengers planes corridor and we was interested to know where the exact destination of spy drone is then we decided to take it down before it reaches Natanz nuclear facilities مركز هسته اي نطنز.
He didn't mention from which side of Iran's borders Hermes drone has been passed and violated Iran's territory.
