The Mariner of the Seas is one of the ships in
Royal Caribbean's
Voyager class. She entered service in
2003 and is
311 meters long, 48 meters wide and accommodates 3114 passengers.
The 15 decks offer plenty of attractions such as an ice rink, a golf simulator and a large basketball court.
There are many different types of cabins. Cabins with promenade views are a special feature on the Royal Caribbean ships. From these passengers can watch the hustle and bustle on the
Royal Promenade. However, a suite or a large balcony cabin would be a better choice for those who would like to have a little more space.
There are so many things to do on board. Make new friends while playing a game of volleyball.
Passengers need not be a professional, everyone is welcome. Guests can relax in the Jacuzzi or by doing some yoga, which even takes place under clear skies, or keep fit in the fitness area.
In addition to the rich course program, which consists of Pilates, spinning or Salsamania, there are many cardio machines and numerous power devices.
The Royal Promenade is the heart of the ship, just as it is on the
Mariner's sister ships. There is a lot to discover here, just like in most typical
American malls. After "strenuous" shopping, passengers can power up with a coffee or a slice of pizza, while the kids keep playing.
In restaurants passengers will find plenty of delicious desserts and fine wine. Before the cruise, passengers can choose between two different Royal Caribbean
Food sessions. Passengers can eat at 8:30pm or 6:30pm. Alternatively passengers can could opt for
My Time Dining and decide when to eat one day at a time.
The theater extends over three decks of the ship's bow.
Trained singers and dancers impress here with musicals, dance performances and various entertainment shows. Passengers will feel as though they're on
Broadway in
New York, and can then head for
Las Vegas and try their luck in the casino. (15s)
On the Mariner of the Seas, passengers can discover something new every day and the crew will do everything to keep passengers entertained -- ensuring an unforgettable holiday on the high seas.
