The Masters of the Universe franchise debuted in 1982, the creation of American company Mattel. The MOTU characters have appeared in a wide variety of different forms, including toys, animation, film, comics, books, videogames and spin-offs.

ICER

ICER is a wavelet-based image compression file format used by the NASA Mars Rovers. ICER has both lossy and lossless compression modes.

The Mars Exploration Rovers “Spirit” (MER-A) and “Opportunity” (MER-B) both use ICER. Onboard image compression is used extensively to make best use of the downlink resources. The Mars Science Lab supports the use of ICER for its navigation cameras (but all other cameras use other file formats).

Most of the MER images are compressed with the ICER image compression software. The remaining MER images that are compressed make use of modified Low Complexity Lossless Compression (LOCO) software, a lossless submode of ICER.

ICER is a wavelet-based image compressor that allows for a graceful trade-off between the amount of compression (expressed in terms of compressed data volume in bits/pixel) and the resulting degradation in image quality (distortion). ICER has some similarities to JPEG2000, with respect to select wavelet operations.

The development of ICER was driven by the desire to achieve high compression performance while meeting the specialized needs of deep space applications.

Copy (written)

Copy refers to written material, in contrast to photographs or other elements of layout, in a large number of contexts, including magazines, advertising, and books.

In advertising, web marketing and similar fields, copy refers to the output of copywriters, who are employed to write material which encourages consumers to buy goods or services.

In publishing more generally, the term copy refers to the text in books, magazines, and newspapers. In books, it means the text as written by the author, which the copy editor then prepares for typesetting and printing.

In newspapers and magazines, "body copy", the main article or text that writers are responsible for, is contrasted with "display copy", accompanying material such as headlines and captions, which are usually written by copy editors or sub-editors.

Copy (album)

COPY is the debut album by the Japanese electronic artist Mitsuki Aira. It was released on September 8, 2008 as a CD, in two editions, both containing the singles "Colorful Tokyo Sounds No. 9", "China Discotica" and "Darling Wondering Staring". "Galaxy Boy" was used as the ending theme to Aichi Television's program Bonita! Bonita!! and The Dream Car Club of Tamoei Yakushiji. The album reached a peak daily position of number 31 on the Oricon chart, and a peak weekly position of number 48 and sold 3,163 copies.

A limited release of the album was produced for a lower price, only containing tracks one through twelve. Track eight, High Bash (Original ver.) (ハイバッシュ (Original ver.)), was replaced with High Bash (Yakenohara ver.) (ハイバッシュ (YAKENOHARA ver.)) in this edition.

Bonus discs

Two external CDs were given away with purchases of either edition of the album for a limited time at certain Tower Records and HMV. Tower Records distributed a bonus disc containing a "Yakenohara Megamix" while HMV distributed a bonus disc containing "L0ne1yBoy L0ne1yGirl", which was later included as a coupling track on the HMV exclusive single, Valentine Step.
