‘Invasion of the Transhumanists’ from Acorn #22 (UK)
Wednesday, March 9th, 2016
From Winter Oak:
If there is one present-day current of thought that stands out as even more repugnant than all the other repugnance of industrial capitalism, it is transhumanism.
For those who have not come across it before, this is a warped ideology that wants to physically merge humans and industrial technology, with the “dream” of abolishing mortality and creating a super-race of cyborgs or Daleks.
Whether or not this is ever likely to come true is pretty much beyond the point – the transhumanists are dangerous simply in that they are promoting a way of thinking, a way of envisaging the future, that is completely bound up with the extension of industrial capitalism and, of course, completely against any idea of caring about the living planet.
The transhumanists form part of an ultramodern neoliberal cult – also worryingly infecting supposedly “radical” circles – which regards the very idea of “nature” as out of date and builds its cold worldview on a fetish for all that is false, artificial, inhuman. (more…)

‘Against the Slander of Civil Anarchism’ by Sureños Incivilizados (Chile)
Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016
January 21, 2016 ~ losdelatierramaldecida
Tierra Maldita receive and publish – From the lands of the Chilean southern region I got this text which is about a statement where the authors denied the existence of groups opposed to technology. Somebody that has been there in Chile… Against conspiracies; is the facts that shall speak.
From Tierra Maldita:
Courage, strength and savagery to the eco-extremists of the South!
Death to the civil-social anarchy!
A few days ago it came to our eyes a text* criticizing the initiative of call for “Black December“. While criticism in the first half is held with good arguments and brings its point well, we will focus on the points made in the second half. We would have liked to be first read the aforementioned critique to better understand these words. But it surprises us that the page in account published the text then deleted the entry. A fact that speaks bad about the mentioned website itself, as obviously these responsible of actualizing the blog withdrew its publication, due to things expressed in this vile critique, we can imagine. ¿Do they not read first what they publish?
In short, for those who managed to read the critique will understand us a little more, and for those who did not, we’ll try to be as clear as possible. And we can imagine that also authors of the critique must feel disappointed that an informative blog of “affinity” despised them in this way. We refer to you: “Colectivo Libre Observador”. (more…)

Trial update of eco-anarchists Silvia, Costa & Billy + Week of Agitation against Technoscience (Italy)
Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016
On January 13, the first hearing of the proceedings against Billy, Silvia and Costa accused of possessing, transporting and receiving stolen explosives and for attempting to sabotage the IBM international nanotechnology research centre in Zurich was held in Turin. Comrades from various parts of Italy were present in court in solidarity.
To support their thesis the prosecution presented two witnesses: Digos inspectors [political police] from Turin who had followed the investigations that began immediately after the comrades arrest in Switzerland. Only one of the two witnesses was cross examined by the prosecution and the defence. Apparently it seems that the trial will be quicker than was said at the beginning, the next hearing was set for March 2 where the prosecutor and lawyers will speak.
For a complete hearing report refer to www.tgmaddalena.it
From the solidarity meetings in view of the trial there was a strong desire to continue a radical critical path and struggle against the technosciences.
From 22 to 28 February there will be a WEEK OF AGITATION throughout Italy against the techno-sciences and the world that produces them. On February 26, a PROTEST AGAINST EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) in front of the EFSA headquarters in Parma, and many initiatives are being planned in various cities of Italy.

First Communique of the Individualists Tending Toward the Wild – 2016 (Mexico)
Friday, January 29th, 2016
From Tierra Maldita:
We love tranquility, we let the mouse play; when the forests whisper, we are unafraid”
-J.N.
I
Individualists Tending Toward the Wild (ITS, before “Individualities”), is
the continuation of the eco-terrorist Project begun in the year 2011. After
the death of “Wild Reaction” in 2015, we have decided to continue this
project…
II
To refresh the memories of those who may have forgotten:
We continue this declared war against the Technological System, and against
those who aim to improve and sustain it. We attack those who physically and
emotionally insist on destroying and altering the wild and untamed places
that are left.
Our acts aim to terrorize, wound, mutilate, and kill these intended
targets. We use threats, explosives, and firearms to accomplish our
immediate objectives.
Those who work toward the destruction of Wild Nature deserve punishment, so
that their acts will not continue with impunity. ITS is not a peaceful
organization that petitions governments to “punish those responsible”,
collecting signatures, and playing the absurd legal-juridical game. We
aren’t an NGO. We don’t need intermediaries to clarify things. For those
who threaten Nature there are no courts; and even if there were, we will
still take the law into our own hands as our fierce ancestors did. As we
are not interested in being a “vanguard” or being in the front lines of
this war, we attack accepting the final consequences.

Text concerning Hambach Forest (Germany)
Friday, January 29th, 2016
The conflict against RWE at Hambacher forest has intensified with every
day since the beginning of this new year.
Many individuals embracing a diverse variety of tactics have been hard
at work bringing anarchic mischief to the mine.
Some elements of practical refusal from the occupiers of the forest
include:
* The continuous barricading of the roads used by security and
construction vehicles, as well as structural damage to the bridges they
use with fire and pick axes.
*Tree-spiking and the placement of “potential improvised explosive
devices” in threatened areas of the forest, as well as more and more
barricades, platforms and tree-defenses deeper in the woods.
