Scythians and Sarmatians were Iranic speaking tribes from ancient Ukraine (7 BC - 4 AD). They inhabited mainly southern Ukraine (Ukrainian steppe, Crimean peninsula, basins of Dniester and Dnieper valleys). Initially nomadic tribes, in later period some settled. The direct offsprings of them are Jassic (Jasz, Jaszsag) people of north Hungary (from Jazygia), ancient Croats of west Ukraine (of upper and middle Dniester) have also absorbed some Sarmatian groups. Ossetians (Republic of Ossetia-Alania in the north Caucasus) are descendents of western Sarmatian tribes and still speak Iranic language there. Jasses (Jazygs) got assimilated by Hungarians and lost their Iranic tongue. The usage of "h" instead of "g" in Ukrainian is also Scytho-Sarmatian remnant. The city of Jassy (Jass Market) in Romania comes from Jasses (Jazygs), a big Sarmatian tribe. Even name Scotland comes from Scyths, as legend says Scots migrated from Scythia, that is Ukraine. King Artur was Sarmatian too. Sarmatian Alans invaded much of western Europe, many settled in France, Spain, Mediterenian islands.
Dozens of Ukrainian placenames and river names are Scytho-Sarmatian (Iranic) such as: Dnieper, Don, Donuzav, Dunay (Danube), Donets all come from Scytho-Sarmatian-Ossetic (iranic) word Don (water), so are other Iranic placenames in Ukraine as: Artopolot (Art was a zoroastrian deity), Sachky, Saky (= Scythians), Prut (= river), Zarvanytsya (Zarwan was a Zoroastrian deity) Samara and so on. Ukrainian last name Dryha (Dryhy were poor zoroastrians, fire worshippers), Kurys (popular among Ukrainian Lemkos, highlanders) is also Iranic (same as Kurush in Persian, that is Cyrus, Iranic name, also Persian king).
Elements of Scytho-Sarmatian warrior & social culture got preserved also by Circassians (Adyghes) (who still have warrior women) and Ukrainian cossacks. It seems that Circassians absorbed some Sarmatians or adopted Sarmatian culture from being under their lordship. Both Circassians and Ukrainian Cossacks wear red boots, red coats, colour red was colour of the fire (ancient Iranic tribes worshipped fire), princely colour (onluy princes wore red coats). Color distinguished one person among others. White hats for example were worn by Ukrainian Cossack and Circassians otamans (chiefs). Though Ukrainians and Adyghes (Circassians) dont speak same languages, traces of same Sarmatian cultures are observed all around the area, also among Ossetians, Hungarian Yazygs etc.
Music is CELTIC (Irish folk) in the video. In the 1st centuries of the 1st millenium of our era the Celtic tribes inhabited what is today western and north-western Ukraine (forest zone), while Scytho-Sarmatian tribes inhabited the steppe zone of Ukraine. On upper Dniester archeaologists found Celtic settlements and artefacts along with Sarmatian artefacts. Both groups lived in geographic proximity to each other in 1-4 AD. This perhaps explains why Celtic, Ukrainian and north-Iranian (Mazenderan, Gilan) white houses all look same, all with the same thatched roofs. On middle Volga flow there lived warlike Sarmatian tribes of Burt-asses (Su-asses), literally Beehive Asses (Jasses) / River Asses (Jasses). Traces of their culture are observed among Mishar Tatars and some say Chuvashes.

Not all of the migrating Parthians and Scythians came to be known as Goths or Germans. One of the famous branches of the Germanic tribes entering Europe from the east was the Saxons. Sharon Turner comments on their Scythian origins:
"The Saxons were a German or Teutonic, that is, a Gothic or Scythian tribe; and of the various Scythian nations which have been recorded, the Sakai, or Sacae, are the people from whom the descent of the Saxons may be inferred...The Sakai...were an important branch of the Scythian nation. Ptolemy mentions a Scythian people, sprung from the Sakai, by the name of the Saxones...There was a people called Saxoi, on the Euxine [the Black Sea], according to Stephanus."46 (Emphasis added)
The Scythian/Parthian people had been known as the Sacae or Saka for over a millennium. This name was retained by the Germanic tribe that the Romans called the "Saxons." Phonetically, "Saxons" is the same as "Sac's sons," or "Sons of Isaac." While the English word "Saxon" has a Latin "x," the German word for "Saxon" is "Sachsisch" or "Sachse."47 The modern German words for "Saxon" still preserve the name of the Scythian "Sac-ae" who migrated into Europe from Asia. The Sacae were Scythians and Parthians in Asia, so the Saxons, or Sachse, were Scythian/Parthian refugees entering Europe. The Bible prophesied in Genesis 48:14-16 that the name of Isaac would specifically be placed on the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh. Since the Saxons still bore the name of Isaac as they migrated into Europe, it confirms that the Saxons were primarily the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh.
The Scythian/Sacae origin of the Germans and Saxons has been known for centuries. A famous British historian, William Camden, wrote the following in 1610:
"...that the Germans are called Scythians, we gather not only out of...Strabo...but also out of Pliny. The name of the Scythians (quoth he) extendeth...even to the Germans...the Saxons descended from the Sacae, a most noble nation, and of much worth in Asia...they came in companies...together with the Getae, Suevi, Daci and others into Europe."48 (Emphasis added)
Consider also Sharon Turner's comment in the 1836 book, The History of the Anglo-Saxons:
"The next great sources of its [Europe's] population were the Scythian or Gothic tribes, who entered it out of Asia, and who gradually spread themselves from its eastern to its western extremity...The Saxons were a German, that is, a Gothic or Scythian tribe; and of the various Scythian nations which have been recorded, the Sakai, or Sacae, are the people from whom the descent of the Saxons may be inferred..."49 (Emphasis added)
These accounts confirm that, in 1610 and 1836, it was known that the Germans, Saxons, Getae, Sacae and Daci had migrated into Europe from Asia, and that the Germanic and Saxon tribes of Europe descended from the Scythian and Sacae tribes of Asia.

Scythians (Sakas) - Sarmatians (Savromatae) - Alans (Allonae) -- ancients north Iranic tribes of Ukraine. Digor (neo-Scythian language) song. Digor is neo-Scytho-Sarmatian (Neo-Alanic) language that is spoken in western part of north Ossetia. It is very archaic form of Ossetian, being the only surviving Scythian language basically, that survived in the Caucasian mountains.
Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak and nearly extinct Upper Lusatian (Sorbian) & Belarusian are all Scytho-Slavic languages characterized by Scytho-Sarmatian-Alan-Digor "h" (gh) sound that is used instead of Slavic g. For example "Hovoryty / hovir" instead of Slavic "Govorit / gwar". Scythian H sound is unknown to other Slavs (Russians, Poles, Balkan Slavs). Except for the Parthians, Josephus' designations here are geographical, where it is clear from the pages of his Antiquities that many of the Israelites of the Babylonian deportation still dwelt around Babylonia in his time (15.3.1), and this would include the "remotest" part of Arabia adjacent to Babylonia (cf. Acts 2:11; 1 Pet. 5:13). Also, Josephus attests that many Israelites of the Assyrian deportations were "beyond Euphrates until now", where they were "an immense multitude, and not to be estimated by numbers" (11.5.2). Adiabene is that part of Assyria which, according to Strabo in his Geography, is not in Mesopotamia but which consists of the plains beyond the Tigris bordering Babylonia to the south and Armenia to the north (16.1.1, 19). Media borders Adiabene on the east.
Herodotus listed Parthians among those who fought under the Persians in Xerxes' famous invasion of Greece, and like the Arians and Sogdians, says that they were equipped like the Bactrians "in all respects" (7.66). The Parthians had a district immediately east of Media, southeast of the Caspian Sea, which they obtained by force. Strabo says of Parthia that in the Persian and Macedonian periods "in addition to its smallness, it is thickly wooded and mountainous, and also poverty-stricken", and that at that time its people paid their tribute along with the Hyrcanians to the west (11.9.1). Strabo then says that "Arsaces (Ἀρσάκης), a Scythian, with some of the Däae ... invaded Parthia and conquered it. Now at the outset Arsaces was weak, being continually at war with those who had been deprived by him of their territory, both he himself and his successors, but later they grew so strong, always taking neighboring territory, through successes in warfare, that finally they established themselves as lords of the whole of the country inside the Euphrates ..." (11.9.2). Elsewhere Strabo tells us that the Däae, along with the Massagetae and Sacae, are Scythians (11.8.2). So we see that the Parthians of the Parthian empire were Scythians, and Josephus surely indicates to us that they were Israelites.

The Scythians (/ˈsɪθi.ən/ or /ˈsɪði.ən/; from Greek Σκύθης, Σκύθοι), or Scyths /ˈsɪθ/, were an ethnolinguistic group of ancient Iranian nomadic tribal cultures who throughout Classical Antiquity dominated the Pontic-Caspian steppe, known at the time as Scythia. By Late Antiquity the closely related Sarmatians came to dominate the Scythians in this area. Much of the surviving information about the Scythians comes from the Greek historian Herodotus (c. 440 BC) in his Histories and Ovid in his poem of exile Epistulae ex Ponto, and archaeologically from the exquisite goldwork found in Scythian burial mounds in Ukraine and Southern Russia.
The name "Scythian" has also been used to refer to various peoples seen as similar to the Scythians, or who lived anywhere in the area known as Scythia,
Sulimirski views the Histories of Herodotus as the most important literary source relating to ancient Scyths. Herodotus provides a depiction that can be related to the results of archaeological research, but apparently knew little of the eastern part of Scythia. He did say that the ancient Persians called all the Scyths Σάκαι (Sacae, Herodotus 7.64). Their principal tribe, the "Royal Scyths", ruled the vast lands occupied by the nation as a whole (Herodotus 4.20), calling themselves Σκώλοτοι (Scōloti, Herodotus 4.6). Oswald Szemerényi devotes a thorough discussion to the etymologies of ancient ethnic words for the Scythians in his work "Four old Iranian ethnic names: Scythian – Skudra – Sogdian – Saka". In it the names of Herodotus and the names of his title, except Saka, as well as many other words for "Scythian," such as Assyrian Aškuz and Greek Skuthēs, descend from *skeud-, an ancient Indo-European root meaning "propel, shoot" (cf. English shoot). *skud- is the zero-grade; that is, a variant in which the -e- is not present. The restored Scythian name is *Skuda (archer), which among the Pontic or Royal Scythians became *Skula, in which the d has been regularly replaced by an l.

Charles "Chuck" Missler is an author, evangelical Christian, Bible teacher, former businessman and US Naval officer. He is the founder of the Koinonia House ministry based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Missler was for several years the chairman, the chief executive, and the largest shareholder of Western Digital. In 1983 he became the chairman and chief executive of Helionetics Inc., another technology company. After teaching for many years at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, Missler moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1992 and founded Koinonia House. Through this organization, Missler distributes a monthly newsletter, Bible study tapes, and a radio show, and speaks at conferences.
Missler is a prominent speaker on the subject of bible prophecy. Missler has had numerous programs aired on the Christian television station GOD TV, namely the DVD versions of his biblical studies "Learn the Bible in 24 Hours", "The Book of Revelation", "The Book of Genesis", and "The Book of Daniel".[citation needed] A Los Angeles Times article reported that Missler and co-author Hal Lindsey had plagiarized a portion of Miami University Professor Edwin Yamauchi's 1982 book Foes From the Northern Frontier in their own 1992 book The Magog Factor. A YouTube video in which Missler uses a jar of peanut butter to attempt to disprove evolution attracted media attention in 2007-2008.

Scythians and Sarmatians were Iranic speaking tribes from ancient Ukraine (7 BC - 4 AD). They inhabited mainly southern Ukraine (Ukrainian steppe, Crimean peninsula, basins of Dniester and Dnieper valleys). Initially nomadic tribes, in later period some settled. The direct offsprings of them are Jassic (Jasz, Jaszsag) people of north Hungary (from Jazygia), ancient Croats of west Ukraine (of upper and middle Dniester) have also absorbed some Sarmatian groups. Ossetians (Republic of Ossetia-Alania in the north Caucasus) are descendents of western Sarmatian tribes and still speak Iranic language there. Jasses (Jazygs) got assimilated by Hungarians and lost their Iranic tongue. The usage of "h" instead of "g" in Ukrainian is also Scytho-Sarmatian remnant. The city of Jassy (Jass Market) in Romania comes from Jasses (Jazygs), a big Sarmatian tribe. Even name Scotland comes from Scyths, as legend says Scots migrated from Scythia, that is Ukraine. King Artur was Sarmatian too. Sarmatian Alans invaded much of western Europe, many settled in France, Spain, Mediterenian islands.
Dozens of Ukrainian placenames and river names are Scytho-Sarmatian (Iranic) such as: Dnieper, Don, Donuzav, Dunay (Danube), Donets all come from Scytho-Sarmatian-Ossetic (iranic) word Don (water), so are other Iranic placenames in Ukraine as: Artopolot (Art was a zoroastrian deity), Sachky, Saky (= Scythians), Prut (= river), Zarvanytsya (Zarwan was a Zoroastrian deity) Samara and so on. Ukrainian last name Dryha (Dryhy were poor zoroastrians, fire worshippers), Kurys (popular among Ukrainian Lemkos, highlanders) is also Iranic (same as Kurush in Persian, that is Cyrus, Iranic name, also Persian king).
Elements of Scytho-Sarmatian warrior & social culture got preserved also by Circassians (Adyghes) (who still have warrior women) and Ukrainian cossacks. It seems that Circassians absorbed some Sarmatians or adopted Sarmatian culture from being under their lordship. Both Circassians and Ukrainian Cossacks wear red boots, red coats, colour red was colour of the fire (ancient Iranic tribes worshipped fire), princely colour (onluy princes wore red coats). Color distinguished one person among others. White hats for example were worn by Ukrainian Cossack and Circassians otamans (chiefs). Though Ukrainians and Adyghes (Circassians) dont speak same languages, traces of same Sarmatian cultures are observed all around the area, also among Ossetians, Hungarian Yazygs etc.
Music is CELTIC (Irish folk) in the video. In the 1st centuries of the 1st millenium of our era the Celtic tribes inhabited what is today western and north-western Ukraine (forest zone), while Scytho-Sarmatian tribes inhabited the steppe zone of Ukraine. On upper Dniester archeaologists found Celtic settlements and artefacts along with Sarmatian artefacts. Both groups lived in geographic proximity to each other in 1-4 AD. This perhaps explains why Celtic, Ukrainian and north-Iranian (Mazenderan, Gilan) white houses all look same, all with the same thatched roofs. On middle Volga flow there lived warlike Sarmatian tribes of Burt-asses (Su-asses), literally Beehive Asses (Jasses) / River Asses (Jasses). Traces of their culture are observed among Mishar Tatars and some say Chuvashes.

Not all of the migrating Parthians and Scythians came to be known as Goths or Germans. One of the famous branches of the Germanic tribes entering Europe from the east was the Saxons. Sharon Turner comments on their Scythian origins:
"The Saxons were a German or Teutonic, that is, a Gothic or Scythian tribe; and of the various Scythian nations which have been recorded, the Sakai, or Sacae, are the people from whom the descent of the Saxons may be inferred...The Sakai...were an important branch of the Scythian nation. Ptolemy mentions a Scythian people, sprung from the Sakai, by the name of the Saxones...There was a people called Saxoi, on the Euxine [the Black Sea], according to Stephanus."46 (Emphasis added)
The Scythian/Parthian people had been known as the Sacae or Saka for over a millennium. This name was retained by the Germanic tribe that the Romans called the "Saxons." Phonetically, "Saxons" is the same as "Sac's sons," or "Sons of Isaac." While the English word "Saxon" has a Latin "x," the German word for "Saxon" is "Sachsisch" or "Sachse."47 The modern German words for "Saxon" still preserve the name of the Scythian "Sac-ae" who migrated into Europe from Asia. The Sacae were Scythians and Parthians in Asia, so the Saxons, or Sachse, were Scythian/Parthian refugees entering Europe. The Bible prophesied in Genesis 48:14-16 that the name of Isaac would specifically be placed on the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh. Since the Saxons still bore the name of Isaac as they migrated into Europe, it confirms that the Saxons were primarily the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh.
The Scythian/Sacae origin of the Germans and Saxons has been known for centuries. A famous British historian, William Camden, wrote the following in 1610:
"...that the Germans are called Scythians, we gather not only out of...Strabo...but also out of Pliny. The name of the Scythians (quoth he) extendeth...even to the Germans...the Saxons descended from the Sacae, a most noble nation, and of much worth in Asia...they came in companies...together with the Getae, Suevi, Daci and others into Europe."48 (Emphasis added)
Consider also Sharon Turner's comment in the 1836 book, The History of the Anglo-Saxons:
"The next great sources of its [Europe's] population were the Scythian or Gothic tribes, who entered it out of Asia, and who gradually spread themselves from its eastern to its western extremity...The Saxons were a German, that is, a Gothic or Scythian tribe; and of the various Scythian nations which have been recorded, the Sakai, or Sacae, are the people from whom the descent of the Saxons may be inferred..."49 (Emphasis added)
These accounts confirm that, in 1610 and 1836, it was known that the Germans, Saxons, Getae, Sacae and Daci had migrated into Europe from Asia, and that the Germanic and Saxon tribes of Europe descended from the Scythian and Sacae tribes of Asia.

Scythians (Sakas) - Sarmatians (Savromatae) - Alans (Allonae) -- ancients north Iranic tribes of Ukraine. Digor (neo-Scythian language) song. It is very archaic form of Ossetian, being the only surviving Scythian language basically, that survived in the Caucasian mountains.
Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak and nearly extinct Upper Lusatian (Sorbian) & Belarusian are all Scytho-Slavic languages characterized by Scytho-Sarmatian-Alan-Digor "h" (gh) sound that is used instead of Slavic g. For example "Hovoryty / hovir" instead of Slavic "Govorit / gwar". Scythian H sound is unknown to other Slavs (Russians, Poles, Balkan Slavs). This h sound is typical only to eastern Iranian languages (Scythian, Alan, Pashtu, Yaghnobi, Digor-Ossetian)

The Asian "Sacae" Become the European Saxons
Not all of the migrating Parthians and Scythians came to be known as Goths or Germans. One of the famous branches of the Germanic tribes entering Europe from the east was the Saxons. Sharon Turner comments on their Scythian origins:
"The Saxons were a German or Teutonic, that is, a Gothic or Scythian tribe; and of the various Scythian nations which have been recorded, the Sakai, or Sacae, are the people from whom the descent of the Saxons may be inferred...The Sakai...were an important branch of the Scythian nation. Ptolemy mentions a Scythian people, sprung from the Sakai, by the name of the Saxones...There was a people called Saxoi, on the Euxine [the Black Sea], according to Stephanus."46 (Emphasis added)
The Scythian/Parthian people had been known as the Sacae or Saka for over a millennium. This name was retained by the Germanic tribe that the Romans called the "Saxons." Phonetically, "Saxons" is the same as "Sac's sons," or "Sons of Isaac." While the English word "Saxon" has a Latin "x," the German word for "Saxon" is "Sachsisch" or "Sachse."47 The modern German words for "Saxon" still preserve the name of the Scythian "Sac-ae" who migrated into Europe from Asia. The Sacae were Scythians and Parthians in Asia, so the Saxons, or Sachse, were Scythian/Parthian refugees entering Europe. The Bible prophesied in Genesis 48:14-16 that the name of Isaac would specifically be placed on the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh. Since the Saxons still bore the name of Isaac as they migrated into Europe, it confirms that the Saxons were primarily the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh.
The Scythian/Sacae origin of the Germans and Saxons has been known for centuries. A famous British historian, William Camden, wrote the following in 1610:
"...that the Germans are called Scythians, we gather not only out of...Strabo...but also out of Pliny. The name of the Scythians (quoth he) extendeth...even to the Germans...the Saxons descended from the Sacae, a most noble nation, and of much worth in Asia...they came in companies...together with the Getae, Suevi, Daci and others into Europe."48 (Emphasis added)
Consider also Sharon Turner's comment in the 1836 book, The History of the Anglo-Saxons:

These accounts confirm that, in 1610 and 1836, it was known that the Germans, Saxons, Getae, Sacae and Daci had migrated into Europe from Asia, and that the Germanic and Saxon tribes of Europe descended from the Scythian and Sacae tribes of Asia.

The Asian "Sacae" Become the European Saxons
Not all of the migrating Parthians and Scythians came to be known as Goths or Germans. One of the famous branches of the Germanic tribes entering Europe from the east was the Saxons. Sharon Turner comments on their Scythian origins:
"The Saxons were a German or Teutonic, that is, a Gothic or Scythian tribe; and of the various Scythian nations which have been recorded, the Sakai, or Sacae, are the people from whom the descent of the Saxons may be inferred...The Sakai...were an important branch of the Scythian nation. Ptolemy mentions a Scythian people, sprung from the Sakai, by the name of the Saxones...There was a people called Saxoi, on the Euxine [the Black Sea], according to Stephanus."46 (Emphasis added)
The Scythian/Parthian people had been known as the Sacae or Saka for over a millennium. This name was retained by the Germanic tribe that the Romans called the "Saxons." Phonetically, "Saxons" is the same as "Sac's sons," or "Sons of Isaac." While the English word "Saxon" has a Latin "x," the German word for "Saxon" is "Sachsisch" or "Sachse."47 The modern German words for "Saxon" still preserve the name of the Scythian "Sac-ae" who migrated into Europe from Asia. The Sacae were Scythians and Parthians in Asia, so the Saxons, or Sachse, were Scythian/Parthian refugees entering Europe. The Bible prophesied in Genesis 48:14-16 that the name of Isaac would specifically be placed on the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh. Since the Saxons still bore the name of Isaac as they migrated into Europe, it confirms that the Saxons were primarily the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh.
The Scythian/Sacae origin of the Germans and Saxons has been known for centuries. A famous British historian, William Camden, wrote the following in 1610:
"...that the Germans are called Scythians, we gather not only out of...Strabo...but also out of Pliny. The Scythians -
Scythia is your typical barbarian tribe. You can expect everything from body tats, to blood drinking. However the Scythians have some excellent bowmen both on foot and on horseback. A standard Scythian army is commonly referred to as a Skirmish Army. Heavy on the bows and the horses, and will have a very small and most of the time non-existent foot core. The tactics employed while playing a Skirmish army require a little bit more attention and micro from the player, but can have devastating effects on the battle. Skirmish armies will usually try to nullify the enemy cavalry and ranged components so that their archers and horses can then be free to pepper the enemy while surrounding them.

The Asian "Sacae" Become the European Saxons
Not all of the migrating Parthians and Scythians came to be known as Goths or Germans. One of the famous branches of the Germanic tribes entering Europe from the east was the Saxons. Sharon Turner comments on their Scythian origins:
"The Saxons were a German or Teutonic, that is, a Gothic or Scythian tribe; and of the various Scythian nations which have been recorded, the Sakai, or Sacae, are the people from whom the descent of the Saxons may be inferred...The Sakai...were an important branch of the Scythian nation. Ptolemy mentions a Scythian people, sprung from the Sakai, by the name of the Saxones...There was a people called Saxoi, on the Euxine [the Black Sea], according to Stephanus."46 (Emphasis added)
The Scythian/Parthian people had been known as the Sacae or Saka for over a millennium. This name was retained by the Germanic tribe that the Romans called the "Saxons." Phonetically, "Saxons" is the same as "Sac's sons," or "Sons of Isaac." While the English word "Saxon" has a Latin "x," the German word for "Saxon" is "Sachsisch" or "Sachse."47 The modern German words for "Saxon" still preserve the name of the Scythian "Sac-ae" who migrated into Europe from Asia. The Sacae were Scythians and Parthians in Asia, so the Saxons, or Sachse, were Scythian/Parthian refugees entering Europe. The Bible prophesied in Genesis 48:14-16 that the name of Isaac would specifically be placed on the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh. Since the Saxons still bore the name of Isaac as they migrated into Europe, it confirms that the Saxons were primarily the Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh.
The Scythian/Sacae origin of the Germans and Saxons has been known for centuries. A famous British historian, William Camden, wrote the following in 1610:
"...that the Germans are called Scythians, we gather not only out of...Strabo...but also out of Pliny. The name of the Scythians (quoth he) extendeth...even to the Germans...the Saxons descended from the Sacae, a most noble nation, and of much worth in Asia...they came in companies...together with the Getae, Suevi, Daci and others into Europe."48 (Emphasis added)
Consider also Sharon Turner's comment in the 1836 book, The History of the Anglo-Saxons:
"The next great sources of its [Europe's] population were the Scythian or Gothic tribes, who entered it out of Asia, and who gradually spread themselves from its eastern to its western extremity...The Saxons were a German, that is, a Gothic or Scythian tribe; and of the various Scythian nations which have been recorded, the Sakai, or Sacae, are the people from whom the descent of the Saxons may be inferred..."49 (Emphasis added)
These accounts confirm that, in 1610 and 1836, it was known that the Germans, Saxons, Getae, Sacae and Daci had migrated into Europe from Asia, and that the Germanic and Saxon tribes of Europe descended from the Scythian and Sacae tribes of Asia.
