Coexisting with Cows... growing india a threat to west !!
nothing to say.. there it is. The history of Kanchi can be traced back to several centuries before the advent of the Christian era. The place finds its name in Patanjali's Mahabhashya, written in the 2nd century BC. Manimekalai, the famous Tamil classic, and Perumpanattu Padai, a great Tamil poetical work, vividly describe Kanchipuram city, as it was at the beginning of the Christian era. Pathupattu, one of the sangam literatures, reads that the king Thondaiman Ilandirayan ruled this town around 2500 years ago. Kancheepuram District had been administered by the Pallavas, Cholas, Vijayanagar rulers and the British before Independence. Kancheepuram is also known as 'Silk City' and 'Temple City', since one of the main professions of the people living in and around is weaving silk sarees. The silk weavers of Kanchi settled more than 400 years ago and have given it an enviable reputation as the producer of the best silk sarees in the country. Kanchipuram is also one of the most industrialized districts in the country, thanks to its proximity to the state capital Chennai. Areas surrounding Sriperumbudur have turned out to become one of the largest manufacturing hubs of India. The district is home to the manufacturing units of Hyundai, Ford, Mitsubishi, Nokia, Samsung, Dell, Saint Gobain etc... The district is also at the center of the Information Technology boom in India. Many multinational IT companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, Wipro Technologies ...

Hinduism and Islam, there is only One God
A video I made showing references from "CONCEPT OF GOD IN HINDUISM by Dr. Zakir Naik" that God is only One in Hinduism and also references from the Quran showing the oneness of God, there have always been One God. Hinduism is the predominant religion of the Indian subcontinent, and one of its indigenous religions. Hinduism includes Shaivism, Vaishnavism and Śrauta among numerous other traditions. It also includes historical groups, for example the Kapalikas. Among other practices and philosophies, Hinduism includes a wide spectrum of laws and prescriptions of "daily morality" based on the notion of karma, dharma, and societal norms. Hinduism is a conglomeration of distinct intellectual or philosophical points of view, rather than a rigid common set of beliefs. Hinduism is formed of diverse traditions and has no single founder. Among its direct roots is the historical Vedic religion of Iron Age India and, as such, Hinduism is often called the "oldest living religion" or the "oldest living major religion" in the world. One orthodox classification of Hindu texts is to divide into Śruti ("revealed") and Smriti ("remembered") texts. These texts discuss theology, philosophy, mythology, rituals and temple building among other topics. Major scriptures include the Vedas, Upanishads, Purāṇas, Mahābhārata, Rāmāyaṇa, Bhagavad Gītā and Āgamas. Hinduism, with about one billion followers, is the world's third largest religion, after Christianity and Islam. The word Hindu is derived ...

Baba Rampuri - Sacred Speech - Secret of Syllables
rampuri.com Baba Rampuri talks about the nature of sacred speech syllables, aksharas, mantras, and matrikas living in the sacred geography of our articulation. The stations of articulation and their operations in Speech mark the vocal apparatus as the heavenly bodies mark the firmament. The domes are analogues of each other. For, as the stars are the witnesses and therefore the storytellers, crisscrossing all lives and all events, now and forever, Speech makes those stories known and establishes the possibilities of all knowledge. Knowledge is transported in the boat of storytelling on the Ocean of Story. The "speech" of the sky contains within it the language of The Book of the World, whose syllables reside in the sacred geography of our mouths. The operations of the vocal chords and the breath give rise to the 50 syllables (from "a" to "ha") which are the elements forming the foundation of Speaking and therefore, Knowledge. These syllables create the world, and at the same time contain all the possibilities of knowing that world. We worship these collective syllables as the Mother Goddess, and individually as Matrikas, Little Mothers. We make pilgrimages to those shrines, crossing over places, of sacred geography of the mouth, beat the drums and ring the bells, there, for worship, and use each one of the holy places to erect mirrors of Her sacred syllables, which then reflect all of Her creation. It is said that before there was Speaking, Shiva one day played his double ...
