Saif Ali Khan (pronounced [ˈsɛːf əˈli ˈxaːn]; born 16 August 1970) is an Indian actor known for his work in Bollywood films. He is the son of the cricket player and last titular Nawab of Pataudi, late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and actress Sharmila Tagore, a great-grandniece of poet Rabindranath Tagore.
Having made his acting debut in 1992 with Parampara, Khan had his first success with the 1994 films Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Yeh Dillagi. After going through several years of decline throughout the 1990s, he rose into prominence with his performance in Dil Chahta Hai (2001), which marked his professional turning point. His work in Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) won him the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, and he was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Hum Tum (2004).
Khan subsequently had further mainstream success with films like Salaam Namaste (2005) and Race (2008) and starred in critically acclaimed projects such as Parineeta (2005), Being Cyrus and Omkara (2006). In 2009, Khan branched out into film production with his company Illuminati Films' first film Love Aaj Kal, which became a box-office success. These accomplishments have established him as one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema. He was awarded the Padma Shri civilian award by the Government of India in 2010.

Madhav Shastri aka Maddy (Madhavan), is a spoilt brat son of the music shop owner DD (Anupam Kher). DD wants that Maddy takes over his shop. Maddy has no feelings for girls and harasses them in college. His rival in college is Sam (Saif Ali Khan), a disciplined and model student. Once the two challenged each other for a fight but are interrupted by the professors and hence the fight remains incomplete. On the day of graduation, Maddy again proposes a fight to which Sam refuses but also confirms that the fight will be completed once. Few years pass by and Maddy is a software instructor at a private company. He comes across Reena (Dia Mirza) during the wedding of a batch mate. He is attracted towards her charm and hence tries to enquire more about her but in vain. After a lot of effort and research, he realizes that Reena is going to get married to an NRI, Rajeev Samra. He also comes to know that Reena has never seen Rajeev and hence disguises himself as Rajeev and the two fall in love with each other. Few days later, Rajeev's parents inform Reena and her family that Rajeev is visiting India. This is when the true identity of Maddy is revealed and Reena starts hating him. The families of Rajiv and Reena decide to get the two married as soon as possible. A shattered and heart-broken Maddy resorts to alcohol to deal with his depression. On the wedding day Rajeev learns that Reena is still in love with Maddy, who is leaving India forever and going to San Francisco, California, accepting the offer which was made to him by his company. The movie story deals with wealthy Thakur Bhavani Singh who lives in a remote region of India where he shares an intense rivalry with a local gypsy clan led by Gora Shankar. Parampara dictates that differences are resolved with a single bullet pistol duel at the top of a hill. Years earlier, Bhavani Singh fought a duel with Gora Shankar's father and killed him. Bhavani's son Prithvi returns from London and strikes up a friendship with Shankar and his clanmates, much to the dismay of his father. As Prithvi gets closer he falls in love with Shankar's sister Tara. His father however has arranged Prithvi's marriage with the daughter of a fellow upper-class acquaintance. Prithvi is unable to make up his mind and ends up defiantly marrying Tara against his father's wishes - and subsequently marrying the girl of his father's choosing, Rajeshwari. Later, Bhavani Singh discovers Tara has given birth to Prithvi's son and to his fury, orders his men to attack the gypsy colony and to kill Tara, her son and anyone who comes in the way. The Thakur's men set the camps ablaze, killing Tara but not her son, Ranvir. Shankar, who also survived the attack storms in to kill Bhavani Singh in revenge but he is arrested and imprisoned. Prithvi, tells his father that he will never acknowledge his presence again and despite living in the same house, his father will never hear his voice. Rajeshwari then presents him with the rescued Ranvir, earning the respect and love of her husband. Rajeshwari gives birth to a son Pratap, whom Bhavani Singh recognises as his true grandson. Both Ranvir and Pratap are brought up in the same household by Prithvi and Rajeshwari but both boys eventually realise that there is a difference between the two.

Synopsis :- "In 2008, Deepak Kumar (Saif Ali Khan) is at an interview for the teacher's post at an affluent school. The interviewers turn him down when they discover his low-class roots. Deepak relates the incident to his mentor, Dr. Prabhakar Anand (Amitabh Bachchan). Dr Anand, the legendary principal of renowned STM college, offers Deepak an interim job as a teacher at STM. Deepak is comforted by his friend, Sushant (an upper-class boy), and his girlfriend Poorbi (Deepika Padukone), who is Dr. Anand's daughter.
The state minister, Baburam, wishes to enroll his no-good nephew at STM. Dr. Anand however, turns him down. The minister decides to install his own man, Mithilesh Singh, on the STM college board. Cunning and greedy, Mithilesh seeks only to enrich himself. The minister's grand ambition is to build a multi-billion educational conglomerate, and plans to use Mithilesh's outside business—a coaching class—for it.
The Supreme Court grants reservations for Other Backward Classes. A large crowd of STM students, boisterously celebrating the ruling, arrive at the gates of STM and start a ruckus. Sushant gathers a group of upper-caste boys and tries to drive off the revellers. Dr. Anand hauls Deepak and Sushant, but is shocked to find that Deepak has turned on him. Poorbi later confronts Deepak and orders him to apologize to her father, but he refuses, leading to their breakup.
The backward classes welcome reservations because it provides additional opportunities for education. The upper classes are against reservations because they believe in a level-playing field. These arguments are played out between Sushant and Deepak. The moderate STM administrators are afraid that college-level reservations may create conflicts between the students. When asked by a reporter, Dr. Anand shares his personal opinion - that some form of reservation, free of politics and economics, is good for society. The next day's headlines scream that Dr. Anand favors reservations. The STM board is outraged; Dr. Anand is warned that Mithilesh will use this to oust him. Dr. Anand resigns from STM, and Mithilesh is appointed as the new principal.
Dr Anand resolves to take out Mithilesh with the only weapon left: teaching. He approaches his friend, Shambhu the cowherd, and takes shelter at the tabela (cowshed). He begins teaching small groups of needy and backward students from the bastee (nearby neighborhood), at the cowshed. His first success is Muniya, Shambhu's daughter, who comes in first place at the board exam. Muniya's principal offers to send more students to Dr. Anand's tabela school. Deepak and Sushant return to Dr. Anand and join forces, teaching at the tabela school. The tabela students fare much better at the exams than their classmates. The tabela school's reputation grows and begins to draw away students at Mithilesh's coaching class.
Mithilesh responds by obtaining a legal permit to demolish the cowshed. The situation is diffused by the arrival of Shakuntala Tai, the reclusive magnate who started the STM institutions. She calls the chief minister, who promptly averts the destruction of the cowshed. Mithilesh is dismissed, and Dr. Anand is installed as the chief trustee of the STM and lifelong principal of the newly-created STM Remedial Center."

The backward classes welcome reservations because it provides additional opportunities for education. The upper classes are against reservations because they believe in a level-playing field. These arguments are played out between Sushant and Deepak. The moderate STM administrators are afraid that college-level reservations may create conflicts between the students. When asked by a reporter, Dr. Anand shares his personal opinion - that some form of reservation, free of politics and economics, is good for society. The next day's headlines scream that Dr. Anand favors reservations. The STM board is outraged; Dr. Anand is warned that Mithilesh will use this to oust him. Dr. Anand resigns from STM, and Mithilesh is appointed as the new principal.
Dr Anand resolves to take out Mithilesh with the only weapon left: teaching. He approaches his friend, Shambhu the cowherd, and takes shelter at the tabela (cowshed). He begins teaching small groups of needy and backward students from the bastee (nearby neighborhood), at the cowshed. His first success is Muniya, Shambhu's daughter, who comes in first place at the board exam. Muniya's principal offers to send more students to Dr. Anand's tabela school. Deepak and Sushant return to Dr. Anand and join forces, teaching at the tabela school. The tabela students fare much better at the exams than their classmates. The tabela school's reputation grows and begins to draw away students at Mithilesh's coaching class.
Mithilesh responds by obtaining a legal permit to demolish the cowshed. The situation is diffused by the arrival of Shakuntala Tai, the reclusive magnate who started the STM institutions. She calls the chief minister, who promptly averts the destruction of the cowshed. Mithilesh is dismissed, and Dr. Anand is installed as the chief trustee of the STM and lifelong principal of the newly-created STM Remedial Center."

Love Ke Liye Kucch Bhi Karega (English: Will Do Anything for Love) is a Bollywood crime comedy film directed by E. Nivas and produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Nitin Manmohan. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Fardeen Khan, Sonali Bendre, Aftab Shivdasani and Twinkle Khanna in lead roles. It released on 29 June 2001, and is a remake of Telugu movie Money (1993). This movie is loosely based on the 1996 American dark-comedy, Fargo. The story is about a troubled young businessman, who hires fake kidnappers to abduct his wife, and use his father-in-law for the installment money. The film received great reviews upon release, and was an superhit at the box office. It featured in top 3 grosser of that year.
Plot:
A story about a troubled young businessman, Prakash (Saif Ali Khan). He is married to Sapna (Sonali Bendre), who is the daughter of famous rich businessman, Rajiv Chopra (Dalip Tahil). Rajiv Chopra totally hates Prakash, and troubles him all the time. Prakash, who is fed up of being troubled by Chopra, then makes a plan to get Sapna kidnapped to make Rajiv Chopra feel the way he does. He hires two broke strugglers, Rahul (Fardeen Khan) and Harry (Aftab Shivdasani) who are to be fake kidnappers and kidnap Sapna.

Love Ke Liye Kucch Bhi Karega (English: Will Do Anything for Love) is a Bollywood crime comedy film directed by E. Nivas and produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Nitin Manmohan. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Fardeen Khan, Sonali Bendre, Aftab Shivdasani and Twinkle Khanna in lead roles. It released on 29 June 2001, and is a remake of Telugu movie Money (1993). This movie is loosely based on the 1996 American dark-comedy, Fargo. The story is about a troubled young businessman, who hires fake kidnappers to abduct his wife, and use his father-in-law for the installment money. The film received great reviews upon release, and was an superhit at the box office. It featured in top 3 grosser of that year.
Plot:
A story about a troubled young businessman, Prakash (Saif Ali Khan). He is married to Sapna (Sonali Bendre), who is the daughter of famous rich businessman, Rajiv Chopra (Dalip Tahil). Rajiv Chopra totally hates Prakash, and troubles him all the time. Prakash, who is fed up of being troubled by Chopra, then makes a plan to get Sapna kidnapped to make Rajiv Chopra feel the way he does. He hires two broke strugglers, Rahul (Fardeen Khan) and Harry (Aftab Shivdasani) who are to be fake kidnappers and kidnap Sapna.
