Plot: Shankar Singh and his wife, Meera, live in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India along with widowed paternal grandmother, Laxmibai, his mom, Gowri, and dad, Randhir. The family feel that they are blessed after Meera's entry in this family. Shankar must go and abroad in Saudi Arabia and bids farewell to Meera, promising to keep in touch, which he does, and also sends them a large portion of his earnings, which is used to pay off the family's debts. Then when no word is received from him, a worried Meera phones, and is devastated to learn that Shankar has been killed by being thrown off a 10th floor balcony. Her status quickly changes, her jewelery, ornaments, fancy clothes are taken off, and she is told to remain indoors. wear dark clothes, and is only allowed to pray at a Mandir. Things brighten up for Meera when she befriends an Islamic woman, Zeenat, who has come all the way from Himachal Pradesh to look for her husband, Amir Khan. Shortly thereafter, Meera's world is turned upside down when she finds out that her father-in-law plans to make her the mistress of a wealthy building contractor, Chopra, for a sum of Five Lakh Rupees; she endures further trauma when she finds out that Zeenat is the wife of the man who has been accused of killing her husband, is merely here to persuade her to sign a Mafi-Naama, which would ensure the release of her husband from the Saudi jails, and prevent his death. Hurt, humiliated and confused Meera refuses to sign this document, and is confined to a locked room by Randhir. It looks like Zeenat may lose her husband after all, and Meera may end up being Chopra's temporary mistress.

Plot: A prominent and very wealthy businessman named Mr. Varma lives a middle class life with his two daughters. The eldest one named Ayesha Verma is expected to marry Varma's friend and right-hand named Mr. Chopra's son, Raman. Soon after Ayesha started to go to college and is attracted to Ajay. The two lovers spend beautiful moments together in college and elsewhere, one day Raman spot Ayesha and Ajay together at a rose day party and is jealous and so he complaints to Mr. Varma thereafter Mr. Varma decides to tests Ajay and see if he is ready to become his future son-in-law. But Ajay proves to be hot headed and so he and Mr. Varma became sworn enemies and he asks Ajay to move away from his daughter's life but Ajay does not obey and continues to reach Ayesha, Varma contact a notorious underworld Don, named Bhai-Jaan and Ajay is told that after the 30 days of Ramadan, he is suppose to meet a violent death, and so Ajay is badly beaten up by his goons and is left virtually for dead on the outskirts of Bombay, but Ajay recovers and swear that he will marry Ayesha. Verma contacted the police and Ajay also receives another trashing from them but Ajay escapes and throws a challenge to Chopra and Verma that he will make Ayesha become his bride within 24 hours and will strive hard to fulfill his promise. Along with the help of the college principal and students Ajay and Ayesha is finally married after a big blast with the enemies.

Plot: Roopa Thakur lives a wealthy lifestyle in Mumbai, along with her husband, Yash; his brother and Bhabhi, Shanti, and their son, Ajay. Roopa wants Ajay to wed her niece, Shalini, but Ajay is in love with Kamini Chopra. Roopa and Yash are childless and their business continues to suffer heavy losses. Things only get worse when a fire destroys part of their factory. Before they could recover the money from the insurance company, the workers go on an indefinite strike, and the State Bank of India decides to foreclose on it's loan. Yash turns to alcohol while his brother assists him financially. Roopa turns to religion and prays day and night so that things turn around. Her religious zeal turn the rest of the family against her so much so that she feels threatened that they are out to kill her. Things get worse when she finds out that Yash is having an affair with Dolly, and re-locates to get religious advice from Poona-based Swami Prakash Anand - with disastrous results.

Plot: Aulad Ke Dushman is a story of parents who blindly bow down to the demands of their stubborn children thereby adding poison to their future. R. K. Chaudhary is the father believes in fulfilling every whim of his son Vicky to express his love towards him. When Vicky commits a murder, Chaudhary blankets his crime by pouring money. When Vicky insults the vice principal of his college, Chaudhary forces the Vice Principal resign instead of questioning Vicky. Chaudhary's elder brother Papaji does not approve of Vicky's misbehavior and leaves the house. Shalu, the daughter of Chaudhary's friend Kumar is engaged to Vicky in the very childhood. She loves Vicky but Vicky loves Chanda. Vicky refuses to marry Shalu and marries Chanda. Dindayal takes advantage of the situation and grabs the entire estate of Chaudhary and Chanda drives Vicky out. R K Chaudhary and Vicky become paupers. Kumar creates hurdles in Vicky's path, makes his efforts futile. Vicky drops in the party thrown by Kumar at his place for the engagement ceremony of Shalu and Sailesh, and demands his estate at the gun-point. However Papaji appears on the scene and decalres that this was pre-planned by him and Dindayal for reforming his nephew. In the meantime, Sailesh and his father kidnap Chanda. Chanda is freed in the end and she gives the hand of Shalu in the hand of Vicky and leaves for London with her father Dindayal.

Plot: Mahesh Chopra lives a middle-classed lifestyle with his Government-employee dad, and mom, Shanti, in Government quarters in Bombay. He successfully graduates, and his dad wants him to carry on and get a post-graduate degree. Before he could do so, his dad retires, they are forced to vacate their apartment, and move into slums, where Mahesh's life spirals out of control.

Plot: Sunil lives with his mom and sister in a middle-class dwelling in Delhi, India. He works for Chopra & Co., Chartered Accountants. He comes across a beautiful woman posing for a painting, and thinks she is poor and needy, and gives her a tip. The woman's name is Anita, and both are attracted to each other. Sunil and Anita intend to marry, and Sunil even introduces Anita to his mom. One day when attending a party, Sunil is shocked to learn that Anita is a multi-millionaire. Stunned at this deception, he swears he will have nothing to do with her. When Anita attempts to sooth things over, Sunil does cool down. It is then he finds out that Anita's dad, who is serving time, had killed his father, and that Anita mother is still alive, after making her living as a former prostitute.
