Ltd.. It will be aired on SA TV, a new private satellite TV
Channel in
Bangladesh as an addition to the
Idol franchise based on the original UK show
Pop Idol.[1] the show airs on
Fridays at 8:30pm and Bangladeshi idol
Extra airs on Saturdays at 8:30pm.
Ferdausi Rahman, formerly known as
Ferdousi Begum, who is the true living legend of Bangladesh and she is an illuminating star in the horizon of
Dhaka tinsel town. Her career began as a child artist in
1946, but her real début as a songster came in
1955 when she sang for the radio as an adult artist. She sang as a playback singer for many Bengali and
Urdu films that includes contemporary, classical, ghazal and
Nazrul Sangeet.
Andrew Kishore is a popular playback singer in Bangladesh. He is a recipient of seven
National Film Awards in the
Best Playback Singer category.
Ayub Bachchu is a rock-pop singer and he is the founder of the rock band
LRB in Bangladesh.
Mehreen Mahmud, mostly known by her stage name Mehreen, is a Bangladeshi pop singer who is a multi-genre artist, covering oriental classical to styles locale to her country and the world.
