This Khulna Shipyard Limited PR Movie 2014 is an INFINITE DREAMS (http://www.infinitedreams.biz) production and Directed by Md Tamim Chowdhury.
Construction of Khulna Shipyard Limited started in 1954 under supervision of the- then East Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation, in short EPIDC and technical support by M/S Stucken Sohn of West Germany. In 1957, Khulna Shipyard Limited officially started its journey to build and repair different type of ships. M/S Burness Corleft of the UK and M/S Maienform SA of Switzerland administered this yard until 1965. Later on, the administrative authority was vested on the officers of the EPIDC itself. After independence in 1971, the authority was naturally shifted to Bangladesh Industrial Development Corporation, BIDC. Responsibility of this company was given to Bangladesh Steel Engineering Corporation, in short BSEC in 1972. In 1999, this yard, as sick industry, was handed over to Bangladesh Navy. Within short time, Bangladesh Navy has turned this yard into a disciplined, progressive and profitable company.
Since its inception, Khulna Shipyard Limited has been contributing in the ship building industry of Bangladesh. More than 680 different types of vessels have been built in this shipyard until 2013.
The ships which have been built here are: Passenger Ships, Oil Tankers, Cargo Ships, Container Vessels, Ferries, Fishery Research Vessels, Tug Boats, Harbour Patrol Crafts, Landing Crafts Vehicle & Personnel, Landing Craft Utilities and warships like Naval Patrol Crafts. It builds Water Barges, Pontoons, Foot Over Bridges, Waste Containers, Gangways of different types & sizes and Steel Structure for Bridges as well. It also makes various machine parts for heavy industries like sugar mills, jute mills etcetera.
Khulna Shipyard Limited has adequate facility & technical skill to repair ships either on land or on water. More than 3000 ship repair works have been successfully accomplished over the last five decades. Presently, this yard produces approximately 2000 Tons of steel works per year.
Management and quality control system of Khulna Shipyard comply with international standards. All the newly built and repaired products of Khulna Shipyard pass through a specific and orderly procedure under ISO 9001:2008 certification. Here, the quality control cell discharges their duty very keenly. To ensure such quality, these are done under international classification societies like: Germanischer Lloyd or GL, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai or Class NK, China Classification Society or CCS, Lloyd’s Register when required.
Khulna Shipyard Limited outstretched upon approximately 69 Acres in other words two seventy nine thousand Square Meter area and located in Khulna city, only 45 Kilo Meter northward from the Mongla Port. The slipway here can accommodate medium sized ships for new building and repair with maximum 90 Meter length and 4 Meter Draft. There are 8 sidetracks, each of them are 100 Meter in length. Depending upon size, these sidetracks can accommodate from 8 to 16 ships at once for new building and repair. The berths are equipped with one in number 8 Ton and two in number 5 Ton capable berth cranes. They are also equipped with one in number 30 Ton capable derrick crane, one in number 30 Ton and one in number 10 Ton capable mobile cranes and adequate number of fork lifters.
Prime considerations to the shipyard are the clients’ satisfaction and fulfillment of their need. Therefore, affordability of price, timely handover and above all the quality assurance are significant to this shipyard.

Beautiful Places To See- The Sundarbans, Bangladesh (Searching For A Tiger)
The Sundarbans are the largest littoral mangrove belt in the world, stretching 80km (50mi) into the Bangladeshi hinterland from the coast. The forests aren't just mangrove swamps though, they include some of the last remaining stands of the mighty jungles which once covered the Gangetic plain. The Sundarbans cover an area of 38,500 sq km, of which about one-third is covered in water. Since 1966 the Sundarbans have been a wildlife sanctuary, and it is estimated that there are now 400 Royal Bengal tigers and about 30,000 spotted deer in the area.
The park is also home to sea gypsy fishing families who catch fish using trained otters. To see this pristine environment, you need to get a permit from the Divisional Forest Office in Khulna. With permit in hand, it's possible to hire a boat from Mongla or Dhangmari to get you to Hiron Point. From Hiron Point you will have to hire a guide to take you into the park.
Sundarbans is home to many different species of birds, mammals, insects, reptiles and fishes. Over 120 species of fish and over 260 species of birds have been recorded in the Sundarbans. The Gangetic River Dolphin (Platanista gangeticus) is common in the rivers. No less than 50 species of reptiles and eight species of amphibians are known to occur. The Sundarbans now support the only population of the Estuarine, or Salt-Water Crocodile (Crocodylus parasus) in Bangladesh, and that population is estimated at less than two hundred individuals.
Here land and water meet in many novel fashions, Wildlife presents many a spectacle. No wonder, you may come across a Royal Bengal Tiger swimming across the streams or the crocodiles basking on the river banks. With the approach of the evening herds of deer make for the darking glades where boisterous monkeys shower Keora leaves from above for sumptuous meal for the former. For the botanist, the lover of nature, the poet and the painter this land provides a variety of wonder for which they all crave.
It's beauty lies in its unique natural surrounding. Thousands of meandering streams, creeks, rivers and estuaries have enhanced its charm. Sundarbans meaning beautiful forest is the natural habitat of the world famous Royal Bengal Tiger, spotted deer, crocodiles, jungle fowl, wild boar, lizards, theses monkey and an innumerable variety of beautiful birds. Migratory flock of Siberian ducks flying over thousands of sail boats loaded with timber, golpatta (round-leaf), fuel wood, honey, shell and fish further add to the serene natural beauty of the Sundarbans.
This is indeed a land for the sportsmen, the anglers and the photographers with its abundance of game, big and small, crocodile, wild boar, deer, pythons, wild-birds and above all the Royal Bengal Tiger, cunning, ruthless and yet majestic and graceful, For the less adventurously inclined, there are ducks and snipes, herons and coots, yellow-lags and sandpipers. It is also the land for the ordinary holiday makers who desire to rest or wander around at will to refresh their mind and feast their eyes with the rich treasure that nature has so fondly bestowed. (Tiger attacks in the Sundarbans, Royal Bengal Tiger, Saltwater Crocodile, Great Egret, Black-Capped Kingfisher, Chital, Horseshoe Crab, sundarban tiger reserve video, sundarban tiger video, sundarban tiger movie, sundarban tiger youtube, sundarban tiger attack, sundarban tiger project, sundarban tiger pictures, sunderban tiger camp, Bawali, wood cutter, sundari tree, tiger projects, UNESCO world heritage site, largest mangrove forest on earth, oil disaster, oil spilling)

Travel video about destination Shekhawati in India.
Shekawati, the North Indian region of Rajasthan, was once an important trading route to China. The amazing wealth of the majarajas can still be experienced as their former palaces have now been transformed into luxury hotels. The journey through this exotic land begins in Sikar, a place that still brings to mind the splendour of bygone times. The streets and lanes of this small town are always busy and it is as though half the population is making its way through the town. Lorries and camel wagons dominate the streets and the unpredictable nature of Indian traffic is a constant challenge. Havelis, the exquisite homes of the city’s former traders, are architectural gems. The dwelling houses of Sikar’s wealthy traders have retained their former glory and are built of yellow sandstone. The word ‘havelis’ is derived from the Persian language and means ‘encircled square’. The walls protect the building from the searing heat and also uninvited guests. In the 18th century Churu was one of the most important stops along the caravan route. The mighty Poddar Family dominated the supply of provisions to the travelling traders. Due to punitive taxes they moved their business to Ramgarh thus Churu gradually fell into decay but with the arrival of the British the town prospered once again. Each city in the Shekawati region is like something from a movie set and it would not be at all surprising if a film crew suddenly appeared from behind one of the magnificent facades! The splendour of the region’s havelis and royal palaces has turned this journey into an unforgettable adventure. Shekawati is truly a golden step into a lost age.
