In all honesty, I really didn't know much about Black Cat in the beginning. When it comes to Spiderman villains, she isn't exactly in the forefront of people's minds with the likes of Green Goblin, Sandman, Dok Ock and Venom. Whenever I'd be image hunting for cosplay character photos for the cosplay videos I compile for the Fantasy Mayhem Youtube channel, photos of her character would constantly pop up as a cosplay. Most of them looked stunning so I decided to look more deeply into Black Cat's character. I'm glad a did!
Not only is Black Cat very gorgeous, she is also one of the most intriguing characters to grace the pages of a comic book. First appearing in 1979 in Spiderman, Black Cat's character has seen a wide range of changes, everything from her powers to her abilities to her numerous volatile relationships with Spiderman.
But what makes her intriguing is her constant transition from being a villain to becoming good and changing back again. These personal changes are a direct result of the challenging life situations she has had to endure coupled with the determination of trying to prove herself as well as having an underlying sense of insecurity. But don't be mislead, she is also bad ass and can rumble with the best! But the thing that I like most about Black Cat is her seductiveness. Her seductive style is raunchy and very alluring. It's on par with Catwoman's (DC Comics), who I consider to be the master of seduction. It must be something about cats!
And I'll say it again, she is downright damn hot!! In the Comic Buyer's Guide Top 100 Sexiest Female Comic Book Characters, Black Cat came in at number 27. In my opinion, I think she was hard done by and should have ranked in the top 20 to say the least. Check out the video, and you'll see why I think this is so. Please remember, none of the art you'll see in this Black Cat art collection video is my work. It all comes from different and very talented artists from around the world, both professional and fans.

Black cat
A black cat is a domestic cat with black fur that may be a mixed or specific breed. The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) recognizes 22 cat breeds that can come with solid black coats. The Bombay breed is exclusively black. All-black fur pigmentation is slightly more prevalent in male cats than female cats. Their high melanin pigment content causes most black cats to have yellow (golden) eyes (irises).
Coat
Any cat whose fur is a single color, including black, is known as a "solid" or "self". A "solid black" cat may be coal black, grayish black, or brownish black. But in reality, black cats are not black. Their fur appears to be black in specific lighting, they are actually dark blue. Most solid-colored cats result from a recessive gene that suppresses the tabby pattern. Sometimes the tabby pattern is not completely suppressed; faint markings may appear in certain lights, even on a solid black cat. A cat having black fur with white roots is known as a "black smoke."
Black cats can also "rust" in sunlight, the coat turning a lighter brownish shade.

Black
Black is the darkest color, the result of the absence of or complete absorption of light. It is the opposite of white (the combined spectrum of color or light). It is an achromatic color, literally a color without color or hue. It is one of the four primary colors in the CMYK color model, along with cyan, yellow, and magenta, used in color printing to produce all the other colors.
Black was one of the first colors used by artists in neolithic cave paintings. In the 14th century, it began to be worn by royalty, the clergy, judges and government officials in much of Europe. It became the color worn by English romantic poets, businessmen and statesmen in the 19th century, and a high fashion color in the 20th century.

The Black
The Black is a rock band from Austin, Texas that formed in 2002 when singer/songwriter David Longoria began collaborating with drummer Andy Morales. The two were later joined by renowned guitarist Alan Schaefer (son of famous guitar maker Ed Schaefer) and Nick Moulos of the Austin band The Crackpipes.
History
The group began playing regularly at Emo's and house parties until Schaefer moved to France to teach English in 2004. Longoria joined major label act ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead during the band's hiatus, his first performance with them on the Late Show with David Letterman in January 2005. Schaefer joined the rest of the band to support Trail of Dead on their European Worlds Apart tour. During the tour Trail of Dead was the band's backing band for a handful of shows.
Their full-length album Tanglewood was recorded in 2004 and released the spring of 2005 on their own record label K Woo.
The band's next release, titled Donna, was released in the summer of 2007.

In all honesty, I really didn't know much about Black Cat in the beginning. When it comes to Spiderman villains, she isn't exactly in the forefront of people's minds with the likes of Green Goblin, Sandman, Dok Ock and Venom. Whenever I'd be image hunting for cosplay character photos for the cosplay videos I compile for the Fantasy Mayhem Youtube channel, photos of her character would constantly pop up as a cosplay. Most of them looked stunning so I decided to look more deeply into Black Cat's character. I'm glad a did!
Not only is Black Cat very gorgeous, she is also one of the most intriguing characters to grace the pages of a comic book. First appearing in 1979 in Spiderman, Black Cat's character has seen a wide range of changes, everything from her powers to her abilities to her numerous volatile relationships with Spiderman.
But what makes her intriguing is her constant transition from being a villain to becoming good and changing back again. These personal changes are a direct result of the challenging life situations she has had to endure coupled with the determination of trying to prove herself as well as having an underlying sense of insecurity. But don't be mislead, she is also bad ass and can rumble with the best! But the thing that I like most about Black Cat is her seductiveness. Her seductive style is raunchy and very alluring. It's on par with Catwoman's (DC Comics), who I consider to be the master of seduction. It must be something about cats!
And I'll say it again, she is downright damn hot!! In the Comic Buyer's Guide Top 100 Sexiest Female Comic Book Characters, Black Cat came in at number 27. In my opinion, I think she was hard done by and should have ranked in the top 20 to say the least. Check out the video, and you'll see why I think this is so. Josie and the Pussycats is an American animated television series, based upon the Archie Comics comic book series of the same name created by Dan DeCarlo.
Produced for Saturday morning television by Hanna-Barbera Productions, sixteen episodes of Josie and the Pussycats aired on CBS during the 1970-71 television season, and were rerun during the 1971-72 season. In 1972, the show was re-conceptualized as Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space, sixteen episodes of which aired on CBS during the 1972-73 season and were rerun the following season.
Josie and the Pussycats featured an all-girl pop music band that toured the world with their entourage, getting mixed up in strange adventures, spy capers, and mysteries. On the small-screen, the group consisted of level-headed lead singer and guitarist Josie, intelligent tambourinist Valerie, and air-headed blonde drummer Melody. Other characters included their cowardly manager Alexander Cabot III, his conniving sister Alexandra, her cat Sebastian, and muscular roadie Alan M.
The show, more similar to Hanna-Barbera's successful Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! than the original Josie comic book, is famous for its music, the girls' leopard print leotards (replete with "long tails and ears for hats," as the theme song states), and for featuring Valerie as the first regularly appearing female black character in a Saturday morning cartoon show.
Each episode featured a Josie and the Pussycats song played over a chase scene, which, in a similar fashion to The Monkees, featured the group running after and from a selection of haplessly villainous characters.
The show's theme song, titled "Josie and the Pussycats", was written by Hoyt Curtin, William Hanna (under the pseudonym "Denby Williams"), and Joseph Barbera (under the pseudonym "Joseph Roland"). Kevin Smith has spent the last fifteen years as a writer/director making CLERKS, MALLRATS, CHASING AMY, DOGMA, JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK, JERSEY GIRL, CLERKS II, ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO, and most recently, COP OUT, with Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis.
Mystifyingly, Smith also sports three DVD releases of his various college Q&A;'s (AN EVENING WITH KEVIN SMITH, AN EVENING WITH KEVIN SMITH 2: EVENING HARDER, A THREEVENING WITH KEVIN SMITH). He's published two books full of essays and blog postings (SILENT BOB SPEAKS and the New York Times Best Selling MY BORING-ASS LIFE), as well as Shootin' the Sh*t with Kevin Smith - a collection of the best material from SModcast, Smith and producer Scott Mosier's weekly podcast. Smith has also written for both of the major comic book giants DC and Marvel (the award-winning Daredevil, Spider-Man and the Black Cat at Marvel Comics, and the award-winning Green Arrow, Batman: Cacophony, and Batman: The Widening Gyre at DC Comics).
Aside from the films he's directed, Smith has served as a producer on indie efforts (including Bryan Johnson's Lion's Gate release VULGAR) a multiple Academy Award winner (GOOD WILL HUNTING), and a pair of Sundance-selected documentaries (REEL PARADISE and SMALL TOWN GAY BAR).
In addition to filmmaking, Smith occasionally moonlights as an actor, appearing in LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, and CATCH AND RELEASE. He also voiced the animated role of the farting Moose in DOOGLE.
One of the first filmmakers to venture into cyberspace, Smith has built his fan base primarily on the web, via the thirteen year old binary village at www.viewaskew.com. And if the film thing doesn't pan out, there's always retail: Smith owns a comic book store named Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash in Red Bank, New Jersey.
As for the hood ornaments he's collected, there's plenty of tin on display: the Filmmaker's Trophy at Sundance for CLERKS; the Prix de la Jeunesse and the International Critic's Week Award at the Cannes Film Festival, also for CLERKS. The Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay for CHASING AMY, and a Humanitas Award for GOOD WILL HUNTING.
Smith also received the Defender of Democracy Award from Norman Lear's People for the American Way organization for his production of DOGMA. CLERKS II won both the prestigious Audience Award at the Edinburgh Film Festvial as well as the Orbit Dirtiest Mouth Moment at the Mtv Movie Awards. For his writing in the comics field, Smith has received a Harvey Award, a Wizard Fan Award, an Eagle Award, and saw his GREEN ARROW: QUIVER named as one of 2003's Best Books for Young Adults by the American Library Association's Young Adult Library Service. In the fall of 2002, the town of Paulsboro in New Jersey named a street after him: Kevin Smith Way. In 2004, the Video Software Dealers Association gave Smith the DVD Visionary Award, and in 2005, he collected the Independent Spirit Award from Britain's Empire Magazine. In April of 2006, this award-whore was given UCLA's Jack Benny Award for Comedy, and in 2008, Smith was given the Maverick Award by the Woodstock Film Festival, as well as the Vision Award from the DGA-affiliated Filmmaker's Alliance.
But he'd chuck it all for his wife and kid. Smith married wife Jennifer in April '99 and celebrated the birth of their daughter, Harley Quinn, in June of that same year. The wedding was not white, to say the least.

Seductive Black Cat Artworks - Marvel Comics
In all honesty, I really didn't know much about Black Cat in the beginning. When it comes to Spiderman villains, she isn't exactly in the forefront of people's minds with the likes of Green Goblin, Sandman, Dok Ock and Venom. Whenever I'd be image hunting for cosplay character photos for the cosplay videos I compile for the Fantasy Mayhem Youtube channel, photos of her character would constantly pop up as a cosplay. Most of them looked stunning so I decided to look more deeply into Black Cat's character. I'm glad a did! Not only is Black Cat very gorgeous, she is also one of the most intriguing characters to grace the pages of a comic book. In all honesty, I really didn't know much about Black Cat in the beginning. When it comes to Spiderman villains, she isn't exactly in the forefront of people's minds with the likes of Green Goblin, Sandman, Dok Ock and Venom. Whenever I'd be image hunting for cosplay character photos for the cosplay videos I compile for the Fantasy Mayhem Youtube channel, photos of her character would constantly pop up as a cosplay. Most of them looked stunning so I decided to look more deeply into Black Cat's character. I'm glad a did!
Not only is Black Cat very gorgeous, she is also one of the most intriguing characters to grace the pages of a comic book. First appearing in 1979 in Spiderman, Black Cat's character has seen a wide range of changes, everything from her powers to her abilities to her numerous volatile relationships with Spiderman.
But what makes her intriguing is her constant transition from being a villain to becoming good and changing back again. These personal changes are a direct result of the challenging life situations she has had to endure coupled with the determination of trying to prove herself as well as having an underlying sense of insecurity. But don't be mislead, she is also bad ass and can rumble with the best! But the thing that I like most about Black Cat is her seductiveness. Her seductive style is raunchy and very alluring. It's on par with Catwoman's (DC Comics), who I consider to be the master of seduction. It must be something about cats!
And I'll say it again, she is downright damn hot!! In the Comic Buyer's Guide Top 100 Sexiest Female Comic Book Characters, Black Cat came in at number 27. In my opinion, I think she was hard done by and should have ranked in the top 20 to say the least. Check out the video, and you'll see why I think this is so. Josie and the Pussycats is an American animated television series, based upon the Archie Comics comic book series of the same name created by Dan DeCarlo.
Produced for Saturday morning television by Hanna-Barbera Productions, sixteen episodes of Josie and the Pussycats aired on CBS during the 1970-71 television season, and were rerun during the 1971-72 season. In 1972, the show was re-conceptualized as Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space, sixteen episodes of which aired on CBS during the 1972-73 season and were rerun the following season.
Josie and the Pussycats featured an all-girl pop music band that toured the world with their entourage, getting mixed up in strange adventures, spy capers, and mysteries. On the small-screen, the group consisted of level-headed lead singer and guitarist Josie, intelligent tambourinist Valerie, and air-headed blonde drummer Melody. Other characters included their cowardly manager Alexander Cabot III, his conniving sister Alexandra, her cat Sebastian, and muscular roadie Alan M.
The show, more similar to Hanna-Barbera's successful Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! than the original Josie comic book, is famous for its music, the girls' leopard print leotards (replete with "long tails and ears for hats," as the theme song states), and for featuring Valerie as the first regularly appearing female black character in a Saturday morning cartoon show.
Each episode featured a Josie and the Pussycats song played over a chase scene, which, in a similar fashion to The Monkees, featured the group running after and from a selection of haplessly villainous characters.
The show's theme song, titled "Josie and the Pussycats", was written by Hoyt Curtin, William Hanna (under the pseudonym "Denby Williams"), and Joseph Barbera (under the pseudonym "Joseph Roland"). Kevin Smith has spent the last fifteen years as a writer/director making CLERKS, MALLRATS, CHASING AMY, DOGMA, JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK, JERSEY GIRL, CLERKS II, ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO, and most recently, COP OUT, with Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis.
Mystifyingly, Smith also sports three DVD releases of his various college Q&A;'s (AN EVENING WITH KEVIN SMITH, AN EVENING WITH KEVIN SMITH 2: EVENING HARDER, A THREEVENING WITH KEVIN SMITH). He's published two books full of essays and blog postings (SILENT BOB SPEAKS and the New York Times Best Selling MY BORING-ASS LIFE), as well as Shootin' the Sh*t with Kevin Smith - a collection of the best material from SModcast, Smith and producer Scott Mosier's weekly podcast. Smith has also written for both of the major comic book giants DC and Marvel (the award-winning Daredevil, Spider-Man and the Black Cat at Marvel Comics, and the award-winning Green Arrow, Batman: Cacophony, and Batman: The Widening Gyre at DC Comics).
Aside from the films he's directed, Smith has served as a producer on indie efforts (including Bryan Johnson's Lion's Gate release VULGAR) a multiple Academy Award winner (GOOD WILL HUNTING), and a pair of Sundance-selected documentaries (REEL PARADISE and SMALL TOWN GAY BAR).
In addition to filmmaking, Smith occasionally moonlights as an actor, appearing in LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, and CATCH AND RELEASE. He also voiced the animated role of the farting Moose in DOOGLE.
One of the first filmmakers to venture into cyberspace, Smith has built his fan base primarily on the web, via the thirteen year old binary village at www.viewaskew.com. And if the film thing doesn't pan out, there's always retail: Smith owns a comic book store named Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash in Red Bank, New Jersey.
As for the hood ornaments he's collected, there's plenty of tin on display: the Filmmaker's Trophy at Sundance for CLERKS; the Prix de la Jeunesse and the International Critic's Week Award at the Cannes Film Festival, also for CLERKS. The Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay for CHASING AMY, and a Humanitas Award for GOOD WILL HUNTING.
Smith also received the Defender of Democracy Award from Norman Lear's People for the American Way organization for his production of DOGMA. CLERKS II won both the prestigious Audience Award at the Edinburgh Film Festvial as well as the Orbit Dirtiest Mouth Moment at the Mtv Movie Awards. For his writing in the comics field, Smith has received a Harvey Award, a Wizard Fan Award, an Eagle Award, and saw his GREEN ARROW: QUIVER named as one of 2003's Best Books for Young Adults by the American Library Association's Young Adult Library Service. In the fall of 2002, the town of Paulsboro in New Jersey named a street after him: Kevin Smith Way. In 2004, the Video Software Dealers Association gave Smith the DVD Visionary Award, and in 2005, he collected the Independent Spirit Award from Britain's Empire Magazine. In April of 2006, this award-whore was given UCLA's Jack Benny Award for Comedy, and in 2008, Smith was given the Maverick Award by the Woodstock Film Festival, as well as the Vision Award from the DGA-affiliated Filmmaker's Alliance.
