One Suspect Arrested in Assault Case Investigation

One suspect has been arrested in connection with an assault Thursday on a UMass Amherst student in a residence hall. The arrest was made Friday by Framingham Police working in cooperation with UMass Amherst Police. A second suspect in the case is still being investigated.

Framingham Police report they arrested William McKeown, 19, of Framingham. He is not a UMass student. He is expected to be arraigned on charges of armed robbery, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
