Countdown subjects:
5) Gyms and sports for women
In girls’ schools and universities, there are no gym classes or sports teams, and therefore there are no professional women’s teams.
For a while, private gyms for women were allowed to operate until the Religious Police decided to close them down for good.
4) Other religions
It is against the law for non-Muslims to worship in public in Saudi Arabia and there are no houses of worship to cater to non-Muslims.
The main reason is because the two holy mosques are located in the country and that would be blasphemous for churches or other places of worship to exist there.
Furthermore, if anyone converts from Islam or abandons religion, they face the death penalty.
3) Cinemas
Cinemas are prohibited and they are only located within private company compounds, such as theaters at Saudi Aramco residential camps.
The usual reason given for banning them is that they allow for men and women to mingle unsupervised, leading to possible immoral actions outside the realm of marriage.
2) Women driving
Women have never been allowed to drive unless they drive in the desert or inside private compounds.
The main arguments for preventing women from driving are that it may cause women to leave their houses more often than they need to, they may have interactions with unrelated males and the need to uncover their faces.
1) Valentine’s Day
Every February 14th entails the same procedure: flower shops and gift shops are prohibited from selling red roses, anything heart-shaped or red.
The penalty for violating that rule would lead to the store being shut down. Also on that day, schoolgirls are prohibited from wearing anything red.
The usual reasoning for banning anything red on Valentine’s Day is to discourage people from celebrating it (as it is not an Islamic occasion) and to prevent people dating or from having any contact outside marriage.

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his surprise at the decision to establish a new anti-Islamic State coalition, led by Saudi Arabia. Putin made the comments during his annual question-and-answer session in Moscow, Thursday.
SOT, Vladimir Putin, Russian President [in Russian]: "As for the [Islamic military] alliance, created in Saudi Arabia. Another coalition. We don't think it will be oriented against Russian. Besides the countries you've mentioned, besides Turkey, whom we don't consider a hostile country, despite them having committed a hostile action against our air forces, our relations deteriorated and I don't know yet a way out of the situation as the ball is now in the Turkish court - [besides this] there are Egypt and other countries [in the new alliance]. The coalition has been initiated by Saudi Arabia. Our approaches to certain elements of the settlement of the Syrian crisis differ but we also have common ground and we are in contact with Saudi Arabia. I met the King recently, we conduct regular meetings on various levels through the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Ministries of Defence."

Do they have their own plan or is there internal disaccord? There might be some, as one thing - there are regional interests of regional players, and another thing - the common interest in the fight against terrorism. The United States themselves suffer, as not long ago 14 people were shot dead, and there is threat of other terrorist attacks. All of us should unite forces in the fight against terrorist organizations, no matter what they are called and no matter which slogans they veil their activities with. I hope that this recently created alliance will act within the common interest, and we'll develop common approaches, rules and establish effective joint action, and joint, effectively applied mechanisms."

The Arabian Peninsula (Arabic: شبه الجزيرة العربية šibh al-jazīrat al-ʻarabīya or جزيرة العرب Ǧazīrat al 'Arab) is a land mass situated north-east of Africa. Also known as Arabia or the Arabian subcontinent, it is the world's largest peninsula and covers 3,237,500 km2 (1,250,000 mi2). The area is an important part of the Asian continent and plays a critical geopolitical role of the Middle East and Arab World due to its vast reserves of oil and natural gas. The peninsula formed as a result of the rifting of the Red Sea between 56-23 million years ago, and is bordered by the Red Sea to the west, the Persian Gulf to the northeast, and the Indian Ocean to the southeast.
The Arabian Peninsula is located in the Asia continent and bounded by (clockwise) the Persian Gulf on the northeast, the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman on the east, the Arabian Sea on the southeast and south, the Gulf of Aden on the south, the Bab-el-Mandeb strait on the southwest, and the Red Sea on the southwest and west. The northern portion of the peninsula merges with the Syrian Desert with no clear border line, although the northern boundary of the Arabian Peninsula is generally considered to be the northern borders of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

5) Gyms and sports for women
In girls’ schools and universities, there are no gym classes or sports teams, and therefore there are no professional women’s teams.
For a while, private gyms for women were allowed to operate until the Religious Police decided to close them down for good.
4) Other religions
It is against the law for non-Muslims to worship in public in Saudi Arabia and there are no houses of worship to cater to non-Muslims.
The main reason is because the two holy mosques are located in the country and that would be blasphemous for churches or other places of worship to exist there.
Furthermore, if anyone converts from Islam or abandons religion, they face the death penalty.
3) Cinemas
Cinemas are prohibited and they are only located within private company compounds, such as theaters at Saudi Aramco residential camps.

5) Gyms and sports for women
In girls’ schools and universities, there are no gym classes or sports teams, and therefore there are no professional women’s teams.
For a while, private gyms for women were allowed to operate until the Religious Police decided to close them down for good.
4) Other religions
It is against the law for non-Muslims to worship in public in Saudi Arabia and there are no houses of worship to cater to non-Muslims.
The main reason is because the two holy mosques are located in the country and that would be blasphemous for churches or other places of worship to exist there.
Furthermore, if anyone converts from Islam or abandons religion, they face the death penalty.

Cinemas are prohibited and they are only located within private company compounds, such as theaters at Saudi Aramco residential camps.

Pakistan found itself in the crosshairs of Middle Eastern politics on Tuesday as Saudi Arabia named it as part of its newly formed 34-nation military alliance of Muslim countries meant to combat terrorism, without first getting its consent.
Talking to journalists, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry said he was surprised to read the news that Saudi Arabia had named Pakistan as part of the alliance.
He said he had asked the country’s ambassador in Riyadh to get a clarification from Saudi Arabia on the matter.
Another senior official also confirmed that Pakistan was not consulted before inclusion in the alliance.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Saudi government surprised many countries by announcing that it had forged a coalition for coordinating and supporting military operations against terrorism in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Egypt and Afghanistan. The headquarters of the new Saudi-led coalition would be based in Riyadh.
This is not the first time that Saudi Arabia has named Pakistan as part of its military alliances without Islamabad’s knowledge and consent. The Saudis earlier named Pakistan as part of the coalition that carried out operations in Yemen and a Pakistani flag was displayed at the alliance’s media centre.

Saudi Arabia has announced the formation of a 34-state military coalition to combat terrorism threats posed by Islamic militants. Saudi's Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman said the coalition would tackle "the Islamic world's problem with terrorism and be a partner in the worldwide fight against the scourge”. Members include a list of Arab, Gulf and African states, as well as Pakistan and Malaysia. According to the SPA state news agency, more than 10 other countries also expressed support.

Saudi Arabia has announced the formation of a 34-state military coalition to combat terrorism threats posed by Islamic militants. Women are rarely to be seen in Yemen’s marketplaces and, when they are, they are hidden from male glances by a protective veil. Islam still plays an important role in the daily cultural life of the people, including the traditional market places that are almost exclusively a male domain. The Republic Of Yemen covers a large part of the southwest of the Arabian Peninsula and contains several fascinating historical sites. East of Sanaa on the ancient Frankincense route, is the town of Marib that was once the residence of the legendary Queen Of Saba and in the extreme north is the town of Sadah, a region known for its powerful tribes. In the centre of the Djebel Harraz is the picturesque mountain village of Manakhah. Due to its location it was once a strategic point on the ancient trading route between the sea and the highlands. The breathtaking architecture of its buildings still testifies to the former prosperity of a village that today is well known for its popular market. Al Hudaydah was once the most important Turkish harbour on the Red Sea. The city was a commercial rival of the British occupied city of Aden to the south which, during colonial times, was of great importance in securing a sea route to India. In addition to the recent modernisation of the harbour the fishing industry still plays an important role and the fertile coastal waters of the Red Sea still ensure a good catch. To the south of Al Hudaydah is the legendary old harbour of Al Mokha, the former centre of the country’s coffee trade from which the world renowned Mocha coffee derived its name. Despite their present poverty the people here are a proud race and the ancient name of the Yemen, Arabia Felix, or “Arabia The Content”, is still a thing of the present.

The Hajar Mountains extend for almost six hundred kilometres from the Musandam Peninsula in the north to its eastern sections. They are also known as the Oman Mountains and divide the coast from the inland. Oman covers around three hundred thousand square kilometres and is one of the most sparsely settled countries in the world with only one and a half million inhabitants. Nizwa, the religious center of the Omans, has a moving past that manifests itself in the city’s defensive fortress. Until the 12th century it was the capital of the Desert State of Oman. Even today this oasis city and trading metropolis has lost none of its former importance. Al-Hamra is the name of a three hundred year old oasis village that dates back to the reign of Imam Saif Bin Sultan. At the end of the 17th century members of the Abriyin Tribe settled here the descendants of whom still live in the Jebal-Akhdar Mountains. Al-Hamra means ‘The Red One’, an Arabic name that is also to be found in the word ‘Alhambra’, in Spain’s Granada. The Sultanate Of Oman is a treasure trove of rarities. Peninsula Hot Springs are a unique and invigorating experience in the rolling hills of the Mornington Peninsula.
They source the mineral water from natural hot springs 637m below ground. This water comes out at a warm 50°C and then is cooled down to various temperatures between 37°C and 43°C so everyone can find a pool at a temperature that is comfortable for them.
The thermal waters in these pools are also full of minerals and are considered to have healing qualities for the body.
There are over 20 different styles of bathes and pools to choose from and you can even indulge in their private bathing area. We did that with a bottle of bubbly.
They even have a Hamam, Turkish Steam Room, where you can purchase the salts from reception and do the scrub amongst friends, or organise a group and have a therapist teach you what to do.
The bathes make the most of their natural surroundings so you don't feel like you are just walking in to public swimming pools, which a lot of thermal pools can feel like. They also empty the pools at the end of each day and fill them fresh each morning.
The ultimate indulgence though is visiting their Spa Dreaming Centre for any one of their signature treatments. I was taken u to their Arabian marquee (incredible by the way!) and enjoyed a massage, scrub and facial. This is seriously the most amazing day spa experience I have ever had.
They have so many packages to choose from and can organise a bathe and dine package and they can even organise accommodation at a close by hotel for you.

One of the mainland African species also occurs on Madagascar, but it is not a native of that island, and was introduced in ancient times to south Asia and during the colonial era to the Caribbean. It is also present in the island of Cape Verde.[2] The ninth species was described in 2012, incorporating upland populations of southern and eastern Africa.[3]
A typical common name is baobab. The generic name honours Michel Adanson, the French naturalist and explorer who described Adansonia digitata.
Adansonias reach heights of 5 to 30 m (16 to 98 ft) and have trunk diameters of 7 to 11 m (23 to 36 ft). The Glencoe baobab, a specimen of A. digitata in Limpopo Province, South Africa, was considered to be the largest living individual, with a maximum circumference of 47 m (154 ft)[4] and a diameter of about 15.9 m (52 ft). The tree has since split into two parts, so the widest individual trunk may now be that of the Sunland baobab, or Platland tree, also in South Africa. The diameter of this tree at ground level is 9.3 m (31 ft) and its circumference at breast height is 34 m (112 ft).[5]
Adansonia trees produce faint growth rings, probably annually, but they are not reliable for aging specimens, because they are difficult to count and may fade away as the wood ages. Radiocarbon dating has provided data on a few individuals. A specimen of A. digitata known as Grootboom was dated and found to be at least 1275 years old, making it among the oldest known angiosperm trees (but not as old as Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi).

In 152 B.C. the town was founded during the rule of Claudius Marcellu and it was then that the Roman conquerors named it Corduba. Later the town became the capital of the province of Baetica, the hot southern region of Spain. At the beginning of the 8th century the town was the headquarters of its recent conquerors, Arabian governors and emirs and even today the architectural influence of the Moors is visible. In the 10th century A.D. the town reached the zenith of its prosperity. It is believed that almost a million people once lived in the ‘Mecca of the West’. The Great Mosque, today's Mezquita, was extended and enlarged during that time. Marble, jaspis and granite columns decorate the beautiful interior of the mosque that contains eight hundred columns. The old city of Granada extends across three hills, Sacromonte, the world famous Alhambra and Abaicín, a once densely populated Moorish district with almost thirty mosques. For several centuries around sixy thousand Moors brought the city’s maze of alleys to life but only a few of the historic Islamic buildings and mosques have survived. Seville is today’s pulsating capital of Andalucia and is still strongly influenced by the brilliant architectural achievements of the Moors. In former times the Real Alcázar was the residence of the region’s Arabic rulers but most of its buildings were constructed during the reign of Peter The Cruel. Casa De Pilatos is one of the most beautiful palatial buildings in Seville. The residence of the Dukes of Medinacelli was built between 1492 and 1520 following a pilgrimage by one of the dukes to the Holy Land. On his return journey, following the same route that the first Marqués of Tarifa took through Italy, he brought back several valuable columns and fountains made of carrara marble that today adorn the beautiful exterior and gardens of the residence. The shoreline of the Guadalquivir River in the land of flamenco is full of life and joie de vivre. The true heart of Spain surely lies in Andalusia in the hot southern region of the Iberian Peninsula.

The hotels have their own beaches with not only the possibility to rent water sports equipment but to take diving and surfing lessons as well. There are two ways of diving, the simpler one is with the goggles and the pipe and is called snorkeling, while the other one is done in a diving suit with and oxygen tank and is called scuba diving. Both sports can be practiced in the Red Sea and the necessary can be rented or purchased.

Riyadh is the capital of Saudi Arabia and its largest city. It is also the capital of Riyadh Province, and belongs to the historical regions of Nejd and Al-Yamama. It is situated in the center of the Arabian Peninsula on a large plateau, and is home to over 4,260,000 people.
The city is divided into 15 municipal districts, managed by Riyadh Municipality headed by the mayor of Riyadh, and the Riyadh Development Authority, chaired by the Governor of Riyadh Province, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The current mayor of Riyadh is Abdul Aziz ibn Ayyaf Al Migrin, appointed in 1998.

The movie plot of Arabia has resemblance with that of vintage arabic movies like Daya, Alibaba and 41 Thieves, The Magic Lamp etc. Story is framed to be happen in a Northern India after the freedom. The old system in India was kingship. There were both good and bad kings in India. The emperors were very powerful and influencive. As usual there were traitors too, who usually messes them up. The traitors seeks the help of local gangsters and assassinates or dislodges the king. This usually ends up in blood sheds and some times in massacre. The fate of people in such countries or territories were pathetic. These un wanted disputes and fights always tensed their normal lives.The quench for power always aroused the people.The tradition and culture got merged by these devastation's.The native people always get into troubles from the gangsters. And occasionally a hero rises to save them. This has turned in to the subject of many movies and novals. Arabia is one of that kind.
In Arabia we may see the sorrows and disappointments of the people in Dharamapuri. They were a very prosperous and famous country once, But now the destiny has brought them the bitter taste of life, The kind was a great warrior and a good ruler but now he is so weak, because of age and circumstances. He had a great Knight called Safar. His bravery and die hard commitment always protected him. The minister Kala tried his best to become as the king, but Safar always stood in his path. whatever he tried Safar slaughtered his dreams. But everything gone upside down within a no time. The Constitution in India got established which rang the final call for Kingship in India. Politicians are started to get elected and they became as the new rulers. On the other hand the king of Dharma Puri also lost his power. Kala came with his hinge men to repay back to Safar, He killed him and his wife inhumanly. Bit fortunately their ten year old son Akbar Ali miraculously escaped in his horse. This flash back unfolds after the middle of the movie. Movie starts with the intro of Dharmapuri after about 20 years, where the hinge men of Kala threatnds and humiliates the people. Now he wanted every one to leave the place. He wanted to establish his own criminal den. The old king is the only hope left for them. The priest's daughter Bhairavi is in love affair with Salim. This signifies the secularity of the place, which is not much known to the civilians in India. Salim was a brave heart, even if he born and lived as an orphan he always kept his pride. Sindhoori is the princess. Now Kala has more political influence, which he used to grab the authority on Dharma Puri's land. He used the tactics of crimes to drive them off. Finally the king agreed to his terms. Mean while a new hero, arrives. Sameer Ali, yes the son of Safar. He tossed the heads of Kala's men. The immense anger of revenge was burning in his eyes. At first the people were not ready to stand by his side, but when they came to know who he really is, they got surprised. Movie closes to the climax, Salim & Bhairavi got murdered on their very first night of marriage. Now it's all up to Sameer Ali. So what's the fate Awaiting Kala? The minister Kala tried his best to become as the king, but Safar always stood in his path. whatever he tried Safar slaughtered his dreams. But everything gone upside down within a no time. The Constitution in India got established which rang the final call for Kingship in India. Politicians are started to get elected and they became as the new rulers. On the other hand the king of Dharma Puri also lost his power. Kala came with his hinge men to repay back to Safar, He killed him and his wife inhumanly. Bit fortunately their ten year old son Akbar Ali miraculously escaped in his horse. This flash back unfolds after the middle of the movie. Movie starts with the intro of Dharmapuri after about 20 years, where the hinge men of Kala threatnds and humiliates the people. Now he wanted every one to leave the place. He wanted to establish his own criminal den. The old king is the only hope left for them. The priest's daughter Bhairavi is in love affair with Salim. This signifies the secularity of the place, which is not much known to the civilians in India. Salim was a brave heart, even if he born and lived as an orphan he always kept his pride. Sindhoori is the princess. Now Kala has more political influence, which he used to grab the authority on Dharma Puri's land. He used the tactics of crimes to drive them off. Finally the king agreed to his terms. Mean while a new hero, arrives. Sameer Ali, yes the son of Safar. He tossed the heads of Kala's men. The immense anger of revenge was burning in his eyes. At first the people were not ready to stand by his side, but when they came to know who he really is, they got surprised. Movie closes to the climax, Salim & Bhairavi got murdered on their very first night of marriage. Now it's all up to Sameer Ali. So what's the fate Awaiting Kala? Después de mucho tiempo de tensiones, ahora Arabia Saudí y el régimen de Tel Aviv realizan consultas a alto nivel e incluso se encaminan hacia una coalición.
Según un artículo editorial de Rasoul Goudarzi para HispanTV, los países árabes y el régimen israelí desde 1948 cuando venció el mandato británico de Palestina, se han visto involucrados en un profundo caos, al punto de que los primeros, encabezados por Siria y Egipto, declararon la guerra al régimen de Israel en 4 veces ocasiones; 1948, 1956, 1967 y 1973, y se oponían a su establecimiento en los territorios ocupados de Palestina.
No obstante, en todas estas contiendas los árabes fueron los perdedores, dejando tal sentimiento de rencor entre los pueblos árabes que ninguno de ellos reconocían al régimen de Israel como Estado e incluso pretendían su eliminación.
De esta forma, aquellos países como el régimen de Tel Aviv y Arabia Saudí que consideraban el nuevo sistema iraní como peligroso para su idolología y existencia, empezaron acercarse entre sí.
Ahora, ante un eventual acuerdo entre Irán y el Grupo 5+1 (EE.UU., el Reino Unido, Francia, Rusia y China, más Alemania), Arabia Saudí y aquellos que han sufrido grandes derrotas por parte del régimen de Israel, están estableciendo íntimas relaciones de alto nivel con el régimen para enfrentarse al Gobierno iraní en busca de sus propios intereses.

Beginning with the Red Sea, where coral reefs stretch for miles, the video looks at zebra sole, jellyfish, sea fans, and pistol shrimp, who are among the inhabitants of this underwater garden. Then it's off to the mountains, where tropical vegetation attracts an Abyssinian roller, baboons, fruit bats, and lizards who turn from mottled brown to fluorescent blue. In the south Arabian sand desert, viewers join a Bedouin family and their herd of 90 camels. They travel 100 miles a day at 11 miles per hour. This video is an excellent overview and succeeds in showing the diversity of topography and wildlife in Arabia.
