People living in an apartment building in Dallas are coming to terms with the loss of their possessions after a fire ripped through their complex. Around 16 fire engines were eventually called out to tackle the blaze at the Stone Ranch Apartments on Skillman Street on Thursday afternoon. All the residents were evacuated from the building and there were no reported injuries. However, it was a major struggle for emergency workers as they had to retreat from inside the building when the intensity of the fire escalated. The block is being dampened down while an investigation is ongoing. Report by Ashley Fudge.

This is the full presentation from Travis Walton's 2011 appearance at the International UFO Congress in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
Travis Walton claims that in 1975, while working as a logger in Arizona, he and several co-workers came across a UFO in the forest which shot a beam of light at Travis. Frightened, his friends fled the scene. When they returned Walton was gone. Walton recalled waking up on the side of the road; he thought only a few hours had past, but he had actually been missing for 5 days. He later recalled being on the craft and the strange creatures that were there with him.
Travis Walton is the subject of the Paramount Studios movie, Fire in the Sky, based on his book of the same name. His close encounter has become recognized as the best documented case of alien abduction ever recorded. Mr. Walton speaks to audiences and media around the world to share what it has been like living through the ordeal of the experience and its aftermath. He presents the evidence for the incident and takes wide ranging questions from the audience, which usually results in bringing out new perspectives and bits of information previously overlooked.

While most Americans celebrated 4th of July by shooting a few fireworks into the sky, Dallas police were dealing with an out of control mob of people shooting fireworks at them and a photojournalist.
This went down Tuesday morning (July 5). News 8 photographer Robert Flagg was the 1st on the scene at Creekside Villa apartments in Southeast Dallas. He says that at 1st the crowd was only shooting at each other until they saw him and started aiming his way.
"Once I got there, I noticed it was just basically a war zone going on," Flagg said. "The missiles — or whatever they were — they were hitting, they were bouncing off my chest and off my camera. One hit me in the back, and it burned my neck and it burned my shirt."
Once police arrived on the scene they quickly realized they were outnumbered and had to call for additional back up.
"Those officers that arrived were being shot at by fireworks," said Dallas police spokesman Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse. "In fact, one officer who was actually hit by a bottle rocket in the arm. Once enough officers got there, the crowd dispersed. That's considered aggravated assault, and it will be filed as that and will be investigated to its fullest, and hopefully we can find out who actually did it."
Apartment residents said this is what happens in the hood.
"It's every day; it's every day," said one tenant. "This is the hood. That's how it go down every day."

Dallas (/ˈdæləs/) is a major city in the state of Texas and is the largest urban center of the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the United States. Fire in the Sky
Fire in the Sky is a 1993 American biopic science fiction mystery film based on an alleged extraterrestrial encounter, directed by Robert Lieberman, written by Tracy Tormé and is based on Travis Walton's book The Walton Experience. The film stars Robert Patrick in the leading role as Walton's best friend and future brother-in-law, Mike Rogers, and D. B. Sweeney as Walton himself. James Garner, Craig Sheffer, Scott MacDonald, Henry Thomas and Peter Berg also star.
Plot summary
On November 5, 1975 in Snowflake, Arizona, logger Travis Walton (D. B. Sweeney), and his co-workers—Mike Rogers (Robert Patrick), Allan Dallas (Craig Sheffer), David Whitlock (Peter Berg), Greg Hayes (Henry Thomas) and Bobby Cogdill (Bradley Gregg)—head to work in the White Mountains.
Driving home from work, the men come across an unidentified flying object. Curious to learn more, Walton gets out of the truck and is struck by a bright beam of light from the object and is sent flying several feet backwards as if pushed by an unseen force. Fearing Walton was just killed, the others flee the scene. Rogers decides to go back to the spot to retrieve Walton, but he is nowhere to be found. Making their way back to town to report the incident, the loggers are met with skepticism, as they relate what sounds like a tall tale to Sheriff Blake Davis (Noble Willingham) and Lieutenant Frank Watters (James Garner). They are suspected of foul play despite no apparent motive or knowledge of Walton's whereabouts.

Around 16 fire engines were eventually called out to tackle the blaze at the Stone Ranch Apartments on Skillman Street on Thursday afternoon. However, it was a major struggle for emergency workers as they had to retreat from inside the building when the intensity of the fire escalated. Travis Walton claims that in 1975, while working as a logger in Arizona, he and several co-workers came across a UFO in the forest which shot a beam of light at Travis. Frightened, his friends fled the scene. When they returned Walton was gone. Walton recalled waking up on the side of the road; he thought only a few hours had past, but he had actually been missing for 5 days. He later recalled being on the craft and the strange creatures that were there with him.
Travis Walton is the subject of the Paramount Studios movie, Fire in the Sky, based on his book of the same name. His close encounter has become recognized as the best documented case of alien abduction ever recorded. Mr. Walton speaks to audiences and media around the world to share what it has been like living through the ordeal of the experience and its aftermath. He presents the evidence for the incident and takes wide ranging questions from the audience, which usually results in bringing out new perspectives and bits of information previously overlooked.

While most Americans celebrated 4th of July by shooting a few fireworks into the sky, Dallas police were dealing with an out of control mob of people shooting fireworks at them and a photojournalist.
This went down Tuesday morning (July 5). News 8 photographer Robert Flagg was the 1st on the scene at Creekside Villa apartments in Southeast Dallas. He says that at 1st the crowd was only shooting at each other until they saw him and started aiming his way.
"Once I got there, I noticed it was just basically a war zone going on," Flagg said. "The missiles — or whatever they were — they were hitting, they were bouncing off my chest and off my camera. One hit me in the back, and it burned my neck and it burned my shirt."
Once police arrived on the scene they quickly realized they were outnumbered and had to call for additional back up.
"Those officers that arrived were being shot at by fireworks," said Dallas police spokesman Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse. "In fact, one officer who was actually hit by a bottle rocket in the arm. Once enough officers got there, the crowd dispersed. That's considered aggravated assault, and it will be filed as that and will be investigated to its fullest, and hopefully we can find out who actually did it."
Apartment residents said this is what happens in the hood.
"It's every day; it's every day," said one tenant. "This is the hood. That's how it go down every day."

Travel Vlog#1 When in Dallas, TX!
Hello Everyone!! It has been so long since I have uploaded a video! I decided to vlog my trip over July 4 weekend and do something different on this channel; therefore here is my very first vlog it is something different and something I have not done before on here! I hope you all enjoy this video during my trip in Dallas, TX! This trip was short but sweet! Here are the things I did while I was there, FYI I stayed at the Le Méridien hotel across from the Galleria Mall. Day One: White Rock Lake Park Shopped at Galleria Mall Dinner at Omi Korean Grill & Bar (ALL YOU CAN EAT Korean BBQ) Hmart (Korean grocery store) Reunion Tower Day Two: Japanese Garden in Fort Worth, TX (about a 35 min drive from Dallas) Shopped at Allen Premium Outlet Mall Thanks for watching!

Dallas is a young city with all the vigour of youth. Effigies of modern architecture rise like glass trees out of the downtown area. In 1841, it was simply a plan of 20 streets on the 256 hectares (640 acres) of south central America, claimed by a Tennessee lawyer, John Neely Bryan. Today, it is the ninth largest city in the USA, and including its western neighbour of Fort Worth, it is the nation's fastest growing metropolitan area.

Today the city is a mecca for the banking, electronics and oil industries, as well as for dining, shopping, arts and entertainment. Large scale developments of urban lofts, apartments, condominiums, retail and both indoor and outdoor recreational facilities are springing up across the city. An impressive new Dallas Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2009 to vie with New York's Lincoln Center. New facilities and relevant attractions in and around this cultural centre continue to grow.
Among things you probably didn't know about Dallas: The city has the largest urban arts district in the United States spanning 19 blocks. What's more, the Dallas Arts District has more buildings designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architects in one contiguous location than anywhere else in the world. And Dallas' Fair Park, just a short distance east of the arts district and a district with numerous museums and venues, features the nation's largest collection of 1930s Art Deco, exposition-style architecture.
Dallas offers true Southern hospitality, be it in a humble hideaway cocktail bar or in the Mansion on Turtle Creek, repeatedly and regularly ranked as one of the world's top hotels. And with a 10th of its workforce in the hospitality industry, Dallas is always happy to have y'all come on in and stick around awhile.
Those wishing to explore further afield should take the busy freeway 30 miles to the west to the easy-going, cattle-driving, twin city of Fort Worth, home to a national historic district and a surprising stash of world-class art museums.
The similarities between the two include a stunning rate of business and population growth, in spite of a sluggish recent economy; a shared passion for the pro sports teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, whose new billion-dollar stadium is now in Tarrant County instead of Dallas; and a great pride in being Texan.

On the 3rd Night of our Hawaii Trip, we went to a super fun Luau with an awesome Fire Show and in the middle of it we had a BRAIN FREEZE CHALLENGE. FIRE & ICE! Each of us took a Piña Colada and tried to see who can drink it the fastest while trying to get a brain freeze! This was on Sky Mom's B-Day by the way, and if you are a super nature lover, stop watching after 24:00 because we had some issues (that were later dealt with, but still, it happened and it we left it in the video because we keep it real). Car Chase Ends In A Shootout on LIVE TV! Los Angeles Police Chase (March 13, 2015)
POSTED 4:36 PM, MARCH 14, 2015, BY KTLA The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday identified the suspect shot and wounded during a gun battle with deputies the previous day. Hector Javier Puga, 26, remained hospitalized in fair condition, the Sheriff’s Department stated in a news release. Puga had allegedly pointed a gun at deputies before being shot following a dangerous pursuit through South Los Angeles residential streets late Friday afternoon. After being hit in the upper torso by gunfire, Puga walked toward a nearby residence and collapsed on the front porch, his white-T-shirt stained with blood, aerial video showed. LEGOLAND HOTEL Grand Opening in Florida + DRAGON SCARE CAM! (Best Day Ever w/ Amusement Park Fun!)
We really did have the best day ever at Legoland Hotel even though that's a Nick Hotel saying. :) This might be the best hotel we've ever stayed at. It was really fun, from the Treasure Hunt in the room, disco elevator, whoopie cushion flooring, smoke breathing dragon, castle play area, sea of Lego's in the lobby all the way to the park right next door! Each of us took a Piña Colada and tried to see who can drink it the fastest while trying to get a brain freeze! This was on Sky Mom's B-Day by the way, and if you are a super nature lover, stop watching after 24:00 because we had some issues (that were later dealt with, but still, it happened and it we left it in the video because we keep it real). The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday identified the suspect shot and wounded during a gun battle with deputies the previous day.
Hector Javier Puga, 26, remained hospitalized in fair condition, the Sheriff’s Department stated in a news release.
Puga had allegedly pointed a gun at deputies before being shot following a dangerous pursuit through South Los Angeles residential streets late Friday afternoon.
After being hit in the upper torso by gunfire, Puga walked toward a nearby residence and collapsed on the front porch, his white-T-shirt stained with blood, aerial video showed.
About an hour later, he surrendered to deputies and was taken into custody without further incident, according to the release.
The Sheriff’s Department later said that Puga had been wanted in connection with a March 8 kidnapping in which he was accused of forcing his wife into a vehicle at gunpoint in the city of Paramount, officials said.
The woman managed to escape after he stopped at her’s mother’s house so she could use the bathroom, according to the release.
Deputies saw Puga’s vehicle Friday and began pursuing him after he failed to stop, the release stated.
An investigation into the incident was ongoing, the department said.

We did so much and we tried to edit out as much as possible to show you everything because we were non-stop fun the whole time! :)
