https://www.expedia.com/Hong-Kong.d178263.Destination-Travel-Guides
Hong Kong, a former British territory, is one of the most densely populated places in China and in the world. You’ll find quiet neighborhoods full of temples and a dazzling skyline loaded with shopping and dining opportunities.
Your Hong Kong tour must include visits to the many religious sites scattered around the city, where incense wafts from shrines and monasteries take over entire hillsides. You’ll have a marvelous time shopping in tax-free Hong Kong, where you’ll be able to find clothing, jewelry, furniture, and everything else under the sun.
Don’t forget about Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, which overlooks the stunning Victoria Harbor. From there, your Hong Kong sightseeing may detour to Central, the city’s main business district, which looks like something out of a sci-fi film. The observation deck atop the International Commerce Centre will show you fantastic views of the city.
Hong Kong isn’t all cityscape, of course; there are many gardens, parks, and other green spaces for you to explore. You’ll also find beaches, national parks, and quiet islands for you to indulge in natural beauty and serenity. This city truly has everything.

With his traditional Chinese/Japanese patterns, Jimmy Ho, now in his sixties, remains one of the coolest and most forward thinking tattooists in Hong Kong.
James Ho, Jimmy’s father, is widely recognized as Hong Kong’s very first local tattoo artist as he started inking foreign sailors as early as 1960s so if anything, Jimmy learnt everything from his old man.
Jimmy opened his first tattoo shop at the age of 14, followed by more than 40 years serving clients including film stars and local gangsters. We visited his shop in Portland Street, Mong Kok, to talk to the veteran about his glorious career and “the golden age of Hong Kong tattoo”, while getting a koi fish tattoo on ourselves.

Hong Kong is one of the most exciting cities in the world. What makes this city so vibrant and energetic? It is nearly seven million residents. The city has a unique blend of Western and Chinese culture, which seem to co-exist very well and help make this city so fascinating.
The most important places to visit in Hong Kong are: The Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery (this statue is one of the five largest statues of Chin), The Victoria Peak (this is something like a top view or a view point from where you can see the entire city of Hong Kong), Avenue of Stars (a place of tribute to the film stars, both past and present Hong Kong cinemas) and many more.
This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Hong Kong travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

Hong Kong was a dream come true. In my youth, I grew up watching Vietnamese dubbed Hong Kong movie series that my parents rented with hundreds of VHS tapes. Later on, I moved onto watching Hong Kong movies and just grew in love with urban Asian culture. I finally got a chance to visit Hong Kong and it was one of the best trips I've ever had. I visited Victoria Harbor to the the Symphony of Lights. I went to the Nan Lian Gardens, the Lin Po Monastery with the giant buddha, and the Victoria Peak over looking the city below. My trip is no where near complete because of time issues, but I can't wait to see Hong Kong again.

Get familiar with public transportation of Hong Kong for your trip.
There are close to 7 million people in this city. Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. If you own a car or are riding a taxi, you will run into traffic jams like in any large city. However, Hong Kong has various transportation options such as trams, buses, mini-buses, ferries and trains which make it really easy to get around. In fact, Hong Kong has one of the most efficient transportation systems in the world with 80% of its residents using it.
Let's see what it is like to ride on the local train here called the MTR. When using the MTR, you can buy a single journey ticket or a one day pass. Although there are many ticket attendants at all the stations, using the automatic ticket machine is really easy. Here we are at Sheung Wan MTR station and need to go to the Mong Kok station. On this machine, I simply select my destination, it tells me the price, 11 dollars, I put in the money here and I have my ticket. If I do not have change, there is another ticketing option here. This is one of the greatest conveniences of Hong Kong for a local or a tourist, and that is the Octopus card. It is an electronically stored money card which is accepted on trains, trams, buses, ferries and even convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Circle K. You can buy them at any MTR station or you can also buy them at convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Circle K.
If you have a ticket, you enter it here, but since I have my Octopus card, you simply swipe it. To find out the platform, I have to know which line I am taking, as the platform will be marked by the last stop on that line. In this case, Chai Wan. Looking at the map, the last stop on the blue line is Chai Wan. Inside the train, we can always tell how far a stop is. That was our quick and painless journey in Hong Kong's MTR system. wn.com/Travel China Tips On Using Public Transportation In Hong Kong
This is Rosanna Wilcox, showing you Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Travel Video including some of the top things to do in Hong Kong along with the best attractions in Hong Kong, China.
Hong Kong is one of the most dynamic cities in all of Asia. From a travel perspective it offers numerous diverse options worth exploring.
Whether one is exploring Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, Victoria Harbor or the New Territories, there are plenty of attractions to cover.
The following is a list of the top things to do in Hong Kong:
1) Avenue of Stars at Night in Kowloon (星光大道)
Wandering around Avenue of Stars at night is the perfect way to experience Hong Kong in the evening. Overlooking Victoria Harbour, this area has been modeled after the Hollywood Walk of Fame championing all of the celebrities involved in the Hong Kong entertainment industry. None is more famous than the Bruce Lee statue. This is also the perfect place to watch A Symphony of Lights laser show which happens daily at 8 pm.
2) Afternoon High Tea at the Peninsula
Sitting down for afternoon tea at the Peninsula is one of the more posh activities in Hong Kong. Expect to wait in line (we waited over 2 hours) for a table. You can get complete sets which include assorted finger food along with a drink. This is definitely not a budget activity.
3) Views of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak and Tram Ride (太平山)
Taking a tram ride up to Victoria Peak to experience the best vantage point of Hong Kong, Kowloon and Victoria Harbor is one of the top attractions in the city. Many come at night; however, we recommend coming in the afternoon on a weekday when you can enjoy having more personal space.
4) Star Ferry boat ride (天星小輪)
There are many different modes of transportation in Hong Kong; however, none are quite as authentic of an experience as taking Star Ferry from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon or vice versa. It's one of the cheapest ways to get around.
5) Junk Boat Ride
Taking a Junk boat ride around Victoria harbor offers some of the best views of the city. It's especially popular at night to take in A Symphony of Lights performance.
6) Hong Kong Park and Tea Appreciation Ceremony (香港公園)
To get away from all of the hustle and bustle check out Hong Kong Park for a tranquil escape. If you have time participate in a Chinese tea appreciation ceremony.
7) Sampan Boat Tour in Aberdeen (舢舨)
Taking a ride on a traditional Sampan boat allows you to experience what life is like for Chinese fishermen.
8) Eating Dim Sum (點心 - 点心)
One should not leave Hong Kong without first trying dim sum. These small sized bites are treats that are accompanied by a pot of Chinese tea.
9) Taking a night bus tour of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon
Taking a night bus tour allows you to visit distinct areas in both Hong Kong Island and Kowloon such as Mong Kok and Causeway Bay.

Qian Ya has been defeated three times, but the Fortune Engine cannot shutdown and she is still terrorizing Kowloon Walled City. Only way to stop her is to trap her in a tunnel, but someone needs to sacrifice themselves in order to stop her from feeding on innocent souls. Edward Tsang, my foster father, decided to sacrifice himself since he created the whole mess. It's hard to lose someone who took care of you when you were a child, but his decision was understandable. Will Hong Kong be saved?
Thank you for watching the series. It has been fun doing this. I have enjoy playing RPGs lately. Always great to make decisions in which effects the game and it has great stroytelling to keep you playing longer than usual.
Shadowrun: Hong Kong is a turn-based tactical role-playing video game set in the Shadowrun universe. It is being developed by Harebrained Schemes, who previously developed Shadowrun Returns and its first standalone expansion, Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut. It will include a new single-player campaign and also ship with a level editor that will let players create their own Shadowrun campaigns and share them with other players through Steam or modding sites.
The game will take place in 2056. In the Shadowrun universe, there is no government in Hong Kong so the city is entirely run by megacorporations. After the player character moves from Seattle to Hong Kong with the hope of finding work, they find themself caught up in "a corporate conspiracy nearly thirty years in the making.
Combat is turn based, with the player controlling the actions of their team followed by the enemies taking their actions. All characters can act based on their action point (AP). Characters start with a base of 2 AP per turn but can temporarily gain or lose AP based on abilities, spells or items used on them. AP is used on such actions as moving, attacking an enemy, reloading a firearm, or using a spell or item. Any AP that is not used by the end of the player's turn is forfeited.

We have reached the center of the Walled City and the Prosperity Lab. The door to the Prosperity was locked, but the control panel was nearby and it could unlock the door. After we unlocked the door, a sicken smell fills the air and unknown creatures spawn in front of us. It is Qian Ya, the Queen with a Thousand Teeth, and one of her servitors. This is it! A long, hard battle awaits!

Voz off

Here's your essential Hong Kong Travel Guide - our host Giselle Lam tours us around the best places to eat, drink, shop, and play in Hong Kong. What to do in Hong Kong in the month of April 2015:
Hong Kong was born when China’s Qing dynasty government was defeated in the First Opium War in 1842, when it ceded Hong Kong Island to Britain. Starting out as a fishing village, salt production site and trading ground, Hong Kong later evolved into an international financial centre and eventually to a prime tourist destination.
Hop on the double-decker tram or the 'ding ding' for a fun way to get around Hong Kong. Grab your own Octopus Card at the nearest 7-11 and China Travel Service Outlets to get a ride on this unique mode of transportation plus get to enjoy huge discounts and other freebies while on tour.
Know more about the Sold Octopus Tourist Card, click this link: http://youtu.be/qTf_7htaLCM
One of Hong Kong's most essential tourist attractions and one that should be on top of every itinerary is a ride on the iconic Star Ferry. The Aqua Luna has been carrying passengers from Hong Kong to Kowloon since 1888 and transports more than 26 million people every year.
