In my opinion the true beauty lives with our everyday life and what penetrates from between the lines. This is a film about human relationship, about being able do deal with a difficult and complex situation that in most cases is impossible to escape. The film is also about the need to leave the demon behind in order to move forward and live your life. There is a seemingly simple little story that during the drama expands and evolves into something larger and more vital.

High up in Actors' Heaven---where those actors who have taken their final curtain on earth still maintain a lively interest in theatrical activity---there is a bell which has been named Minnie. When a struggling young actor on Broadway has sufficient faith in himself---if he believes strongly enough in his ability and talent---then Minnie rings out clearly, signaling that the time is right for an angel to leave Actors' Heaven and go down to earth to help a worthy, but-as-yet-successful actor or actress. When versatile, young Karen James refuses to be discouraged by her rejection by producer Rodney Lloyd, Minnie rings out loudly and clearly. Phineas Aloysius Higby, who was a magician before he was called to Actor's Heaven, begs to be allowed to go earthward to help Karen and is finally assigned the job. Phineas rents a room in the theatrical boarding house run by Madam Della, an ex-prima donna who has never gotten over it. Karen also lives there, as well as David Randall, a young artist. David conceals his love for Karen because he believes she loves Paul Blake, an advertising writer who pretends, for Karen's sake, that he has playwriting ambitions. Phineas befriends Karen and David and accompanies them to another audition for Rodney Lloyd, who rejects Karen again but is entranced by Phineas' magic and tries to sign him up. Phineas consults Sir Henry Bushnell, head man of Actors' Heaven, and secures his permission to pretend to be a producer in order to encourage Karen. Phineas then promises to produce a show to be written by Paul (who can't write)and to star Karen and her friends, Tiny , Rosie, Susie , Kay , Barbara, and others, all theatrically ambitious, talented kids now working in a department store. David dreams up several production numbers, and even Madam Della's maid, Theresa, who also sings in a night club, and her accompanist and agent, Cliff , join in with a hot number of their own. But complications arise and, before long, Phineas has created many problems and soon has Minnie the Bell ringing constantly and boisterously.

Gannet trapped on 400ft cliff face saved after dramatic eight-hour rescue mission A lucky gannet was saved from near-certain death after getting its wing trapped in the rock of a cliff-face.The large seabird was seen hanging suspended in mid-air above a 400ft drop from Bempton Cliffs in North York shire for almost 24 hours.The bird had trapped wing in fishing line had used to help build its nest.The RSPCA were called out at 8am on Thursday and the team had to absail down the cliff-face to reach the bird before it could be freed following an eight-hour rescue operation.Geoff Edmond,an inspector for the RSPCA, said: Teams from the RSPCA and the RSPB saw the gannet trapped on the cliff in the bird's usual nesting place. Thankfully, the team managed to rescue the gannet by approximately 4pm and, remarkably, it was in excellent condition.Against all the odds, we’re hopeful of a full recovery.

It has been years since the start of The Cliff Resort & Residences’ Go Green program which emphasizes on the company’s social responsibility and helps bring out experiences of environment protection for travellers in parallel with traveling purposes. In 2015, the program will start with calls for supporting a campaign named “Eat up food”, planting trees and recycling waste utensils into new decorations to raise a fund for invalid children of Binh Thuan province. In the “Eat up food” campaign, travellers are encouraged to eat up their meal and then post the photos on the social network (Facebook) with hashtags like #anhetroi or #eatupfood and do check-ins in the restaurant. For each successful share, The Cliff Resort & Residences will donate VND 20.000 to the “4000 meals for poor kids” fund. This campaign calls for support from restaurants and travellers to change food wasting behaviors and bring happiness to people, who are in difficult situations, through better meals. Justice Sound Jimmy Cliff - Best Of Jimmy Cliff Jimmy Cliff, OM (born James Chambers, 1 April 1948)[2] is a Jamaican reggae musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer and actor. He is the only living musician to hold the Order of Merit, the highest honour that can be granted by the Jamaican government for achievements in the arts and sciences. Cliff is best known among mainstream audiences for songs such as "Wonderful World, Beautiful People", "The Harder They Come", "Sitting in Limbo", "You Can Get It If You Really Want" and "Many Rivers to Cross" from the soundtrack to The Harder They Come, which helped popularize reggae across the world,[3] and his covers of Cat Stevens' "Wild World" and Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now" from the film Cool Runnings. He starred in the film The Harder They Come. Cliff was one of five performers inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. Jimmy Cliff was born in Somerton District, St. James, Jamaica.[4] He began writing songs while still at primary school in St. James, listening to a neighbour's sound system. In 1962 his father took him to Kingston to go to Kingston Technical school, where he ended up sharing his cousin's one rented room in East Kingston. Cliff sought out many producers while still going to school, trying to get his songs recorded without success. He also entered talent contests. "One night I was walking past a record store and restaurant as they were closing, pushed myself in and convinced one of them, Leslie Kong, to go into the recording business, starting with me," he writes in his own website biography.[3] After two singles that failed to make much impression, his career took off when "Hurricane Hattie" became a hit, while he was aged 14.[5] It was produced by Kong, with whom Cliff remained until Kong's death from a heart attack in 1971. Cliff's later local hit singles included "King of Kings", "Dearest Beverley", "Miss Jamaica", and "Pride and Passion". In 1964, Cliff was chosen as one of Jamaica's representatives at the world's fair. He soon signed to Island Records and moved to the United Kingdom.[5] Island Records initially (and unsuccessfully) tried to sell Cliff to the rock audience, but his career took off in the late 1960s.[6] His international debut album was Hard Road to Travel, released in 1967. It received excellent reviews and included "Waterfall" (composed by Nirvana's Alex Spyropoulos and Patrick Campbell-Lyons), which became a hit in Brazil and won the International Song Festival.[5] "Waterfall" was followed in 1969 by "Wonderful World, Beautiful People" and "Vietnam" in 1970, both popular throughout most of the world. Bob Dylan called "Vietnam" the best protest song he had ever heard.[3] Also during this period, Cliff released a cover of Cat Stevens' "Wild World" as a single, but it was not included on his Wonderful World, Beautiful People album. In 1972, Cliff starred as Ivanhoe "Ivan" Martin in the classic reggae film, The Harder They Come, directed by Perry Henzell.[7] As the film tells Martin's story, he is a young man without funds. Arriving in Kingston from the country, he tries to make it in the recording business, but without success. Eventually, he turns to a life of crime. The soundtrack album of the film was a huge success that sold well across the world, bringing reggae to an international audience for the first time. It remains one of the most internationally significant films to have come out of Jamaica since independence. The film made its debut at London's Gaumont cinema in Notting Hill on 1 September 1972.[8] In 1975, Cliff sang on the first season of Saturday Night Live, episode 12, hosted by Dick Cavett.
