Saudi Arabia’s bombing campaign in Yemen shows no signs of abating.
In the latest wave of airstrikes, Saudi warplanes dropped bombs on a security headquarters in the capital Sana’a. They also targeted several areas in the southwestern province of Ta'izz. The western province of Hajjah came under bombardment as well. There’s no report of possible causalities yet. Saudi Arabia’s invasion of Yemen has caused massive death and destruction. More than 5100 Yemeni people, mostly civilians, have lost their lives since Riyadh unleashed its devastating war in late March.

There is a joint declaration by India and UAE to those who indulge in and support terrorism. They have no other option but to wind up and join the forces of universal peace. If there are some people in politics and the media, for their own reasons, who do not want to compliment Mr. Modi for the energetic initiative towards bringing peace in the world, that is getting scarce with each passing day, ( refer : Bangkok bomb blast) let them be cured of the anti- Modi disease in the days ahead.Modi is not simply warming up his chair in Delhi to spit feeble words condemning terror attacks after the damage , as a formality . He speaks from his heart, wherever he goes. This genuineness needs to be acknowledged and appreciated by neutral public and media.

History of UAE and the Founding Ruler HH Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan
The late Sheikh Zayed was appointed as the representative of the Emirate's Ruler in the Eastern Region in 1946. Immediately after his appointment, he immersed himself in government affairs in Al Ain City, the region's administrative seat. Within two years he was considered a powerful figure in the region, characterized by his strong will and determination to reform. In addition, he became well-known for his skills as a listener and effective dispute mediator, which earned him the greatest respect of those around him. These were the traits which he later became internationally recognized for.
In August 1966, Sheikh Zayed acceded to the position of Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, a position which reflected the trust and respect he had gained following his success at initiating the development of Al Ain City during the 1950s despite meager resources. He then set the Emirate on its path of sustainable growth and development that has today become the gold standard for the entire region.
Sheikh Zayed is credited with pushing rising oil revenues into a substantial development drive to benefit all those living under his rule, as well as, establishing a new governmental structure that laid the foundations for the Emirate and the country today.
In 1971, the late Sheikh Zayed, working alongside the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the then Ruler of Dubai, pioneered the efforts that led to the UAE's establishment in December 1971, which politically consolidated the nascent nation in difficult circumstances. As an acknowledgement of his leadership, sagacity and his efforts, the late Sheikh Zayed was unanimously elected by his fellow Rulers of the Emirates to become the first President of the UAE, a title which earned him the local and enduring moniker of 'Father of the Nation'.
Sheikh Zayed was a man who understood that in order to build harmony, cohesion and solidarity among his people, he first needed to build their trust via constructive and personal interaction. He enjoyed getting out and meeting the local community, and was considered as a man of the people. He tasked his government with building capabilities in health, education and social welfare, seeing all UAE citizens as instrumental to the nation's collective success. This philosophy remains evident across the country today.
Economically, the late Sheikh Zayed successfully invested oil revenues in building a strong and cohesive economy, ranking the UAE among the region's most economically developed countries. Thanks to his vision, the UAE is now the GCC's second biggest economy after , the third largest in the Middle East and, according to many prestigious international reports, the most important financial and economic centre in the region. This is reflected in the standards of living of its citizens.
Internationally, the late Sheikh Zayed laid the foundations of a foreign policy, which is characterized by wisdom, moderation, balance, support for truth and justice, and maintaining a language of dialogue and understanding. This balanced foreign policy has become a hallmark of the UAE, both regionally and internationally. Sheikh Zayed was held in high regard by all Arab leaders, enabling him to act as a mediator on more than one occasion. He has also earned a reputation as an international humanitarian and philanthropist, supporting a number of causes across the world and again setting an enduring legacy.
Sheikh Zayed passed away on November 2, 2004. His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the then Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the eldest son of Sheikh Zayed, succeeded him to the Presidency of the UAE and Rulership of Abu Dhabi, while His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, another of Sheikh Zayed's sons, was appointed the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Under their leadership and direction, both guided by their father's values, the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has continued to prosper.
wn.com/History Of Uae And The Founding Ruler Hh Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan

Obama offers condolences to UAE over deaths of 45 Emirati soldiers in Yemen

The Palm Island, Dubai UAE - Megastructure Development
An awe-inspiring engineering feat, Dubai Palm Islands is definitely the largest artificial islands on earth. These Islands are three man made islands in the form of massive palm trees connected to the beaches of Dubai. The first island is the Palm Jumeirah, Jebel Ali Palm second and the third is the Palm Deira which is the biggest of them all. This artificial archipelago located off the coastline of United Arab Emirates in Persian Gulf.
Dubai islands project was commissioned by Sheikh Mohammed in an effort to maximize beachfront property. Dubai's palm tree-shaped resort island on land built from the sea will contribute 120 km of beaches. Aside from the construction of the ambitious expansion, there is also the problem of constructing a mini city, which consists of 4,500 high-end residential homes, miles of roads, luxurious hotels and many amenities that will require basic human resources including electricity, safe drinking water and many more. This enormous project will position Dubai as one of the top tourist destinations in the world.
I will tell you why these islands have appeared and that they must satisfy. Dubai is an emirate that open sea about 50 km (an estimate) and the sites required for building projects are on the beach. To view course and especially to "park" in front of the yacht's property or even assembly.
Well when the beach was not available, and demand persists, the beach had invented. And it appeared artificial islands. Hence so sophisticated forms of the islands: they had to provide a larger opening to the ocean.
This new concept quickly caught on. 'Only a' product 'high-end, the latest wrinkle in the most creative developers metropolis. A new source of land, location of the trick of the planet Earth! The job went, the two islands were settled immediately, with mixed development, spectacular, exorbitant, and finally in Dubai's specific style ... In parallel to the World archipelago started building and other projects are still on the drawing board Nakheel, developer. But crisis compels us to winter a little ...
Where is the dream of similar islands: In Lebanon, wants to build a cedar shaped islands, the symbol of this country. Russia wants to try an island / an archipelago in Black in Sochi at the 2014 Olympics, at least that is speaking through the past years. Also in Japan there are several large airports built on artificial islands.
The Palm Islands are artificial peninsulas constructed of sand dredged from the bottom of the Persian Gulf by the Belgian company Jan De Nul and the Dutch company Van Oord.
The sand is sprayed by the dredging ships, which are guided by DGPS, onto the required area in a process known as rain-bowing because of the arcs in the air when the sand is sprayed. The outer edge of each Palm's encircling crescent is a large rock breakwater. The breakwater of the Palm Jumeirah has over seven million tons of rock.
The Palm Islands are an artificial archipelago (islands) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Major commercial and residential infrastructures will be constructed by Nakheel Properties, a property developer in The UAE. The Belgian and Dutch dredging and marine contractors, Jan De Nul and Van Oord, some of the world's specialists in land reclamation, were hired to complete construction. The islands are the Palm Jumeirah, the Palm Jebel Ali and the Palm Deira.
Each settlement will be in the shape of a palm tree, topped with a crescent. The settlements will have a large number of residential, leisure and entertainment centers. The Palm Islands are located off the coast of The UAE in the Persian Gulf and will add 520 kilometers of beaches to the city of Dubai.
The first two islands will comprise of approximately 100 million cubic meters of rock and sand. The Palm Deira will be composed of approximately one billion cubic meters of rock and sand. All materials will be quarried in The UAE. Among the three islands, there will be over 100 luxury hotels, exclusive residential beach side villas and apartments, marinas, water theme parks, restaurants, shopping malls, sports facilities and health spas.
The creation of the Palm Jumeirah began in June 2001. Shortly after, the Palm Jebel Ali was announced and reclamation work began. The Palm Deira is planned to have a surface area of 46.35 square kilometers and was announced for development in October 2004.

United Arab Emirates Travel Guide http://bit.ly/17YavWy
Shepherd Entertainment takes you on a tour of Abu Dhabi, the capital and the largest city in the United Arab Emirates. Its
territory covers 87% of the emirates and its population totals 1,002,000.
The name Abu Dhabi means father of the gazelle. Its territory covers 87% of the emirates. Its
population totals 1,002,000 due to the immense uninhabitable dessert, life is concentrated on three
areas, the capital and the oasis cities of Al Ain and Liwa. The capital was constructed on one of the
islands belonging to the emirate. The ruler's palace and one of the most modern universities in the Arab
world are to be found in Al Ain while the center of economics is based in the capital. The emirate of Abu
Dhabi was established in 1761 by the Boneas Bedouin tribe next to a fresh water spring. Dubai
separated from the emirates in 1833 under the leadership of the Maktoums. The area's wealth began
with the export of oil in 1962 from which the population has yet to see profit. Four years later Zayed Bin
Sultan Al Nahyan Sheikh enjoying the support of his family took command from his brother Shuck Bold
Sheikh with a bloodless palace revolution. Abu Dhabi's prosperity started then enhanced by the
withdrawal of the British. Vast incomes originating from oil served the country's development under
the leadership of Zayed Sheikh. The high standard of living is thanks to him. His death in 2004 caused
deep mourning in every Arab country. Zayed Sheikh was the second richest state leader after the Saudi
King. His private fortune totals more than $20 billion. His fortune and his title were inherited by crown
prince Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan who was at the same time elected the new president of the United
Arab Emirates. The city of Abu Dhabi was built on a T shaped island connected to the land by two
bridges. The city's appearance, similar to Dubai is determined by skyscrapers. Office blocks, hotels and
business centers exemplified a mix of traditional and modern architecture. There are many more green
areas and parks in the city than in any other desert country. The other striking feature is that mosques
were built at a distance of 1km from each other to make them as accessible as possible for the believers.
The locals enjoy an evening walk along the promenade, called Corniche. Tourists soon fall in love with
the coastal sector lined with coffee shops and restaurants with an outstanding view of the sea. It's
certain worthwhile seeing Al Hosn Fortress, the great mosque, the oriental carpet house, the heritage
museum and the central market.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) - Travel Guide
Take a tour of Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats.
The strikingly beautiful Sheikh Zayed Mosque is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates.
Over 80 snow-white domes look like they were built using pure clouds.
Though the mosque is brand new, it draws on classical architecture of the Arabs, Mughals, and Moors.
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is open to visitors before noon, although there are some regulations.
This huge and beautiful building can hold about 40,000 in its many halls.
The decoration is largely based on natural patterns, made out of precious and elegant materials.
Everything here is grand and extraordinary - including some of the world's largest chandeliers.
Construction materials and artists were called upon from many countries around the world.
This magical mosque is undoubtedly a special landmark, that draws worshippers and visitors from all over.

Abu Dhabi Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The beautiful Heritage Village is situated opposite the imposing skyline of Abu Dhabi, on an artificial island just off the coast, Wave Breaker Dam. In traditional small mud huts, various craftsmen demonstrate their skills to onlookers and show off a variety of leather goods and fine glassware. On the edge of the city, in the bay of Al-Bateen, is Dhow Harbor, where the traditional Arabian boats are built manually. One of Abu Dhabi’s buildings surpasses all others, the legendary Emirates Palace, truly a hotel of the superlative. The cost of creating the Palace was enormous but it is now the source of much well-earned prestige. Almost overnight, the Emirates has been catapulted from the Middle Ages into the 21st century. Next to follow the oil boom is tourism and no doubt, Abu Dhabi will make a fortune out of that, too!

Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai - Tourism Dubai
World Travel https://www.youtube.com/user/World1Tube
United Arab Emirates Travel Guide http://bit.ly/17YavWy
Shepherd Entertainment takes you on a tour of Ras Al Khaimah, which has a population of 150,000 lies about 100 km from Dubai.
There's no bus or train transport but pool taxis are cheap. The Hajar Mountains are also a part of Ras Al Khaimah and thanks to the water pouring down a mountain, this is the greenest and most varied region at the same time where desert, seashore, mountains and watered areas form a unit.
Ras Al Khaimah with a population of 150000 lies about 100 km from Dubai. There's no bus or train
transport but pool taxis are cheap. The Hajar Mountains are also a part of Ras Al Khaimah. Thanks to
the water pouring down a mountain, this is the greenest and most varied region at the same time where
desert, seashore, mountains and watered areas form a unit. The income of the Emirate is derived from
agriculture, pearl diving, fishing and extraction of stone. Ras Al Khaima is the only Emirate that was not
a founding member of the confederation. They joined year later.
Development is also significant here but as obvious as in Dubai. Understandably, the beauties of nature
dominate here and travel agencies also emphasize the possibility of optional activities. The capital lies
on the shore of a narrow gulf and just like Dubai, is divided by a strait, Cor Ras Al Khaimah. Here too,
the museum of local history was established in an old fortress. Its primary treasure is the original
manuscript from Vasco da Gama about --, the ancient capital. Souks shouldn't be missed here either.
Those who would like to buy a genuine pearl are in the right place. Local pearls are famous for their
even round shaped and exceptionally white color. We can take a trip in the area to the extraordinarily
beautiful Musandam Peninsula which belongs to Oman or we can sail out to watch dolphins living in the
wild. The remains of the palace ascribe to the Queen of Sheba are located in Shemale some 5km from
the city. There's no shortage of shopping centers in Ras Al Khaimah either where everything can be
purchased at prices similar to those in Dubai.
Tourists can try desert vehicles in an oasis. We can take off for a jeep safari with a driver but it's more
memorable if we drive ourselves. This of course requires some experience. We can take sand runners,
quads or the ship of the desert at performing any all wheel drive vehicle, particularly because it doesn't
use gas, only water once a week. The dunes can be explored on stubby but steady Arabian horses. But
the car rally is not the only car race in which cars have to work their way through the sand dunes.
Several other driving desert races are also held in the Emirates.
The nature of the plain determines its habitable features, shepherd folks sleeping in tents are frequently
in need of hospitality. When there isn't any city or permanent settlement, the honor and credit of the
tribe substitutes the land. Hospitality has been a sanctuary for everyone in need. The Bedouin shared
his scant bit with his guests and those eating bread and salt with him became his protégé. Company for
a migrant, traveler normally lasts three days because this is the exact time it takes for the consumed
food to become blood. But if the enemy asks for asylum, the Arab couldn't deny that either and while
he held on to the ties of his tent, his life was secure. A bloody battle could only affect him if he left this
tent and took to the road again.
The plains produce this peculiar morality. A Bedouin didn't acknowledge any higher powers and the
chieftain could thank his honor to his personal excellence only. Every noble Arab was equally poor and
held the same rank in the plains. Democratic attitude applicable to every Arab didn't allow the
establishment of a state over the tribes. This made tribes independent from each other but at the same
time prevented Arabs from uniting their forces to gain economical superiority, wrote Professor
Germanus, one of the greatest orientalists. The past few centuries have proven what these tribes are
able to do if they break with their habits and join in the interests of a common aim. Past and present
live side by side in the traditional Arab countries. Social relations, religion, concepts but even clothing
haven't changed very much during the past few centuries. However, architecture, transport,
technology, and economic life have changed.

A unique and amazing ice and light experience
The Chillout Ice Lounge Dubai created by Sharaf Hospitality is the first ice lounge in the Middle East. Originally opened in 2007, the ice lounge had a major refurbishment in July 2014 creating a place which is spell binding with its ice sculptures, ice seating and tables and a uniquely illuminated interior, all at a subzero temperature.
Once visitors arrive they are given thermal clothing to keep themselves warm while in the -6 degrees.
Visitors are advised to spend a few minutes in a buffer zone area to get acclimatised. The temperature in the buffer zone is set at +5 degrees Celsius which gives the body time to adjust to the low temperature in the main Chillout Ice Lounge.
The Chillout Ice Lounge Dubai combines the novelty of subzero temperatures with a unique interior design. It is a technological innovation in refrigeration, lighting and architecture. The diffused lighting changes its colors at certain intervals and it filters through crystal clear blocks of ice, filling them with low-lux hues of varying patterns, making the moment freeze in its ambience. All these elements have been intelligently composed to create one of the best ice lounges in the world.
The lounge serves hot soups, sandwiches, juices, hot chocolates, coffee, tea and a variety of deserts, mocktails and confectionary, making it the first of its kind in the world to serve hot food & beverages.
Located at Times Square Center Dubai, why not visit us for an unparalleled experience with friends and family. We are also available for corporate events, film shoots and private hire.

Dubai (/duːˈbaɪ/ doo-by; Arabic: دبي Dubayy, Gulf pronunciation: [dʊˈbɑj]) is the most populous city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the second largest emirate by territorial size after the capital, Abu Dhabi.[4]
Dubai is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven emirates that make up the country. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature.[5] The city of Dubai is located on the emirate's northern coastline and heads up the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai is to host World Expo 2020.[6]
Dubai has emerged as a global city and business hub of the Middle East and South Asia.[7] It is also a major transport hub for passengers and cargo. By the 1960s Dubai's economy was based on revenues from trade and, to a smaller extent, oil exploration concessions, but oil was not discovered until 1966. Oil revenue first started to flow in 1969.[8] Dubai's oil revenue helped accelerate the early development of the city, but its reserves are limited and production levels are low: today, less than 5% of the emirate's revenue comes from oil.[9] The emirate's Western-style model of business drives its economy with the main revenues now coming from tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services.[10][11][12] Dubai has recently attracted world attention through many innovative large construction projects and sports events. The city has become symbolic for its skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, in particular the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Dubai has been criticised for human rights violations concerning the city's largely South Asian workforce.[13] Dubai's property market experienced a major deterioration in 2008–2009 following the financial crisis of 2007–2008,[14] but is making a gradual recovery with help from neighbouring emirates.[15]
As of 2012, Dubai is the 22nd most expensive city in the world and the most expensive city in the Middle East.[16][17] In 2014, Dubai's hotel rooms were rated as the second most expensive in the world, after Geneva.[18] Dubai was rated as one of the best places to live in the Middle East by American global consulting firm Mercer.

WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE HOTEL - EMIRATES PALACE in ABU DHABI - LUXURY TRAVEL Inside TOUR
WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE HOTEL - EMIRATES PALACE in ABU DHABI - LUXURY TRAVEL Inside TOUR
The Emirates Palace is a seven star luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Emirates Palace is located on 1.3 km of private beach and surrounded by 85 hectares of gardens, with 114 domes that are 80 meters high. It is a 30 minute drive from Abu Dhabi airport and 1.5 hours drive from Dubai airport.
The building was designed by architect, John Elliott RIBA, who was Senior Vice President at Wimberly, Allison, Tong and Goo, (WATG) an international firm specialising in Luxury Hotels. It opened in November 2005 but certain restaurants and spas did not open until 2006. The hotel was built by and is owned by the Abu Dhabi government, and is currently managed by the Kempinski Group.
The costs to build the hotel were 3.9 billion GBP or 11.02 billion AED or about 6 billion USD. The Emirates Palace occupies 850,000m² of floor space. Underground parking allows housing for 2,500 vehicles. There are two swimming pools and spas. The hotel has its own marina and helipad. The Emirates Palace is the second most expensive hotel ever built, only surpassed by Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
Room rates at Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace rose by more than a quarter last year as guest numbers topped 150,000. A 26 per cent rise in rates helped revenue per available room -- the standard measure used by hotels -- reach one of its highest levels since it opened in 2005, said the hotel manager Alexander Schneider.
"Despite the opening of many other luxury hotels and resorts in Abu Dhabi, Emirates Palace has continued to achieve a very high performance over the past years," said Mr Schneider.
The hotel, meanwhile, hopes to raise its international profile further -- as a backdrop for film productions. "Emirates Palace is the only venue in the region qualified to offer a unique backdrop for film shootings and to curate a movie premiere screening in its auditorium at the same time," Mr Schneider added.
Abu Dhabi is expected to add as many as 6,000 new hotel rooms over the next three years according to CBRE Middle East, the property broker.
"There is still a lot of supply to come up but that also makes it far more affordable than Dubai and travellers from within the UAE will remain one of its key markets," said Matthew Green, the head of research and consultancy at CBRE. The broker expects hotel occupancy in Abu Dhabi to rise from about 65 per cent in 2012 to about 70 per cent this year.
Emirates Palace is currently focusing on Chinese, Indian and Latin American markets as Etihad Airways funnels more travellers from those countries through the emirate. India is Abu Dhabi's largest tourism market in terms of the number of guests.
Emirates Palace has also become a popular wedding venue for families from India, Russia and China, said Mr Schneider.
The capital's flagship hotel is owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi, and is managed by the Geneva-based Kempinski Hotels.
Abu Dhabi hotel operators are benefiting from rising visitor numbers to the country.
In November, Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) reported Dh842 million in operating revenues, an increase of Dh93m during the first nine months of the year compared with the same period in 2012. Its hotel division, which includes internationally branded owned hotels and its own Al Diar brand, and the retail unit were the main profit generators. The latest additions to ADNH's portfolio to come on stream this year -- Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas, Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach and Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal -- led the charge to top the hotel division's revenues to Dh562m, compared with Dh468m during the same period in 2012.
